Acts 2
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
അപരഞ്ച നിസ്താരോത്സവാത് പരം പഞ്ചാശത്തമേ ദിനേ സമുപസ്ഥിതേ സതി തേ സർവ്വേ ഏകാചിത്തീഭൂയ സ്ഥാന ഏകസ്മിൻ മിലിതാ ആസൻ|
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
ഏതസ്മിന്നേവ സമയേഽകസ്മാദ് ആകാശാത് പ്രചണ്ഡാത്യുഗ്രവായോഃ ശബ്ദവദ് ഏകഃ ശബ്ദ ആഗത്യ യസ്മിൻ ഗൃഹേ ത ഉപാവിശൻ തദ് ഗൃഹം സമസ്തം വ്യാപ്നോത്|
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
തതഃ പരം വഹ്നിശിഖാസ്വരൂപാ ജിഹ്വാഃ പ്രത്യക്ഷീഭൂയ വിഭക്താഃ സത്യഃ പ്രതിജനോർദ്ധ്വേ സ്ഥഗിതാ അഭൂവൻ|
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
തസ്മാത് സർവ്വേ പവിത്രേണാത്മനാ പരിപൂർണാഃ സന്ത ആത്മാ യഥാ വാചിതവാൻ തദനുസാരേണാന്യദേശീയാനാം ഭാഷാ ഉക്തവന്തഃ|
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
തസ്മിൻ സമയേ പൃഥിവീസ്ഥസർവ്വദേശേഭ്യോ യിഹൂദീയമതാവലമ്ബിനോ ഭക്തലോകാ യിരൂശാലമി പ്രാവസൻ;
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
തസ്യാഃ കഥായാഃ കിംവദന്ത്യാ ജാതത്വാത് സർവ്വേ ലോകാ മിലിത്വാ നിജനിജഭാഷയാ ശിഷ്യാണാം കഥാകഥനം ശ്രുത്വാ സമുദ്വിഗ്നാ അഭവൻ|
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilæans?
സർവ്വഏവ വിസ്മയാപന്നാ ആശ്ചര്യ്യാന്വിതാശ്ച സന്തഃ പരസ്പരം ഉക്തവന്തഃ പശ്യത യേ കഥാം കഥയന്തി തേ സർവ്വേ ഗാലീലീയലോകാഃ കിം ന ഭവന്തി?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
തർഹി വയം പ്രത്യേകശഃ സ്വസ്വജന്മദേശീയഭാഷാഭിഃ കഥാ ഏതേഷാം ശൃണുമഃ കിമിദം?
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judæa, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
പാർഥീ-മാദീ-അരാമ്നഹരയിമ്ദേശനിവാസിമനോ യിഹൂദാ-കപ്പദകിയാ-പന്ത-ആശിയാ-
10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
ഫ്രുഗിയാ-പമ്ഫുലിയാ-മിസരനിവാസിനഃ കുരീണീനികടവർത്തിലൂബീയപ്രദേശനിവാസിനോ രോമനഗരാദ് ആഗതാ യിഹൂദീയലോകാ യിഹൂദീയമതഗ്രാഹിണഃ ക്രീതീയാ അരാബീയാദയോ ലോകാശ്ച യേ വയമ്
11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
അസ്മാകം നിജനിജഭാഷാഭിരേതേഷാമ് ഈശ്വരീയമഹാകർമ്മവ്യാഖ്യാനം ശൃണുമഃ|
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
ഇത്ഥം തേ സർവ്വഏവ വിസ്മയാപന്നാഃ സന്ദിഗ്ധചിത്താഃ സന്തഃ പരസ്പരമൂചുഃ, അസ്യ കോ ഭാവഃ?
13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
അപരേ കേചിത് പരിഹസ്യ കഥിതവന്ത ഏതേ നവീനദ്രാക്ഷാരസേന മത്താ അഭവൻ|
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judæa, and all [ye] that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
തദാ പിതര ഏകാദശഭി ർജനൈഃ സാകം തിഷ്ഠൻ താല്ലോകാൻ ഉച്ചൈഃകാരമ് അവദത്, ഹേ യിഹൂദീയാ ഹേ യിരൂശാലമ്നിവാസിനഃ സർവ്വേ, അവധാനം കൃത്വാ മദീയവാക്യം ബുധ്യധ്വം|
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is [but] the third hour of the day.
ഇദാനീമ് ഏകയാമാദ് അധികാ വേലാ നാസ്തി തസ്മാദ് യൂയം യദ് അനുമാഥ മാനവാ ഇമേ മദ്യപാനേന മത്താസ്തന്ന|
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
കിന്തു യോയേൽഭവിഷ്യദ്വക്ത്രൈതദ്വാക്യമുക്തം യഥാ,
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
ഈശ്വരഃ കഥയാമാസ യുഗാന്തസമയേ ത്വഹമ്| വർഷിഷ്യാമി സ്വമാത്മാനം സർവ്വപ്രാണ്യുപരി ധ്രുവമ്| ഭാവിവാക്യം വദിഷ്യന്തി കന്യാഃ പുത്രാശ്ച വസ്തുതഃ| പ്രത്യാദേശഞ്ച പ്രാപ്സ്യന്തി യുഷ്മാകം യുവമാനവാഃ| തഥാ പ്രാചീനലോകാസ്തു സ്വപ്നാൻ ദ്രക്ഷ്യന്തി നിശ്ചിതം|
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
വർഷിഷ്യാമി തദാത്മാനം ദാസദാസീജനോപിരി| തേനൈവ ഭാവിവാക്യം തേ വദിഷ്യന്തി ഹി സർവ്വശഃ|
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
ഊർദ്ധ്വസ്ഥേ ഗഗണേ ചൈവ നീചസ്ഥേ പൃഥിവീതലേ| ശോണിതാനി ബൃഹദ്ഭാനൂൻ ഘനധൂമാദികാനി ച| ചിഹ്നാനി ദർശയിഷ്യാമി മഹാശ്ചര്യ്യക്രിയാസ്തഥാ|
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
മഹാഭയാനകസ്യൈവ തദ്ദിനസ്യ പരേശിതുഃ| പുരാഗമാദ് രവിഃ കൃഷ്ണോ രക്തശ്ചന്ദ്രോ ഭവിഷ്യതഃ|
21 And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
കിന്തു യഃ പരമേശസ്യ നാമ്നി സമ്പ്രാർഥയിഷ്യതേ| സഏവ മനുജോ നൂനം പരിത്രാതോ ഭവിഷ്യതി||
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
അതോ ഹേ ഇസ്രായേല്വംശീയലോകാഃ സർവ്വേ കഥായാമേതസ്യാമ് മനോ നിധദ്ധ്വം നാസരതീയോ യീശുരീശ്വരസ്യ മനോനീതഃ പുമാൻ ഏതദ് ഈശ്വരസ്തത്കൃതൈരാശ്ചര്യ്യാദ്ഭുതകർമ്മഭി ർലക്ഷണൈശ്ച യുഷ്മാകം സാക്ഷാദേവ പ്രതിപാദിതവാൻ ഇതി യൂയം ജാനീഥ|
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
തസ്മിൻ യീശൗ ഈശ്വരസ്യ പൂർവ്വനിശ്ചിതമന്ത്രണാനിരൂപണാനുസാരേണ മൃത്യൗ സമർപിതേ സതി യൂയം തം ധൃത്വാ ദുഷ്ടലോകാനാം ഹസ്തൈഃ ക്രുശേ വിധിത്വാഹത|
24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
കിന്ത്വീശ്വരസ്തം നിധനസ്യ ബന്ധനാന്മോചയിത്വാ ഉദസ്ഥാപയത് യതഃ സ മൃത്യുനാ ബദ്ധസ്തിഷ്ഠതീതി ന സമ്ഭവതി|
25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
ഏതസ്തിൻ ദായൂദപി കഥിതവാൻ യഥാ, സർവ്വദാ മമ സാക്ഷാത്തം സ്ഥാപയ പരമേശ്വരം| സ്ഥിതേ മദ്ദക്ഷിണേ തസ്മിൻ സ്ഖലിഷ്യാമി ത്വഹം നഹി|
26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
ആനന്ദിഷ്യതി തദ്ധേതോ ർമാമകീനം മനസ്തു വൈ| ആഹ്ലാദിഷ്യതി ജിഹ്വാപി മദീയാ തു തഥൈവ ച| പ്രത്യാശയാ ശരീരന്തു മദീയം വൈശയിഷ്യതേ|
27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
പരലോകേ യതോ ഹേതോസ്ത്വം മാം നൈവ ഹി ത്യക്ഷ്യസി| സ്വകീയം പുണ്യവന്തം ത്വം ക്ഷയിതും നൈവ ദാസ്യസി| ഏവം ജീവനമാർഗം ത്വം മാമേവ ദർശയിഷ്യസി| (Hadēs g86)
28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
സ്വസമ്മുഖേ യ ആനന്ദോ ദക്ഷിണേ സ്വസ്യ യത് സുഖം| അനന്തം തേന മാം പൂർണം കരിഷ്യസി ന സംശയഃ||
29 Men [and] brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
ഹേ ഭ്രാതരോഽസ്മാകം തസ്യ പൂർവ്വപുരുഷസ്യ ദായൂദഃ കഥാം സ്പഷ്ടം കഥയിതും മാമ് അനുമന്യധ്വം, സ പ്രാണാൻ ത്യക്ത്വാ ശ്മശാനേ സ്ഥാപിതോഭവദ് അദ്യാപി തത് ശ്മശാനമ് അസ്മാകം സന്നിധൗ വിദ്യതേ|
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
ഫലതോ ലൗകികഭാവേന ദായൂദോ വംശേ ഖ്രീഷ്ടം ജന്മ ഗ്രാഹയിത്വാ തസ്യൈവ സിംഹാസനേ സമുവേഷ്ടും തമുത്ഥാപയിഷ്യതി പരമേശ്വരഃ ശപഥം കുത്വാ ദായൂദഃ സമീപ ഇമമ് അങ്ഗീകാരം കൃതവാൻ,
31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
ഇതി ജ്ഞാത്വാ ദായൂദ് ഭവിഷ്യദ്വാദീ സൻ ഭവിഷ്യത്കാലീയജ്ഞാനേന ഖ്രീഷ്ടോത്ഥാനേ കഥാമിമാം കഥയാമാസ യഥാ തസ്യാത്മാ പരലോകേ ന ത്യക്ഷ്യതേ തസ്യ ശരീരഞ്ച ന ക്ഷേഷ്യതി; (Hadēs g86)
32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
അതഃ പരമേശ്വര ഏനം യീശും ശ്മശാനാദ് ഉദസ്ഥാപയത് തത്ര വയം സർവ്വേ സാക്ഷിണ ആസ്മഹേ|
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
സ ഈശ്വരസ്യ ദക്ഷിണകരേണോന്നതിം പ്രാപ്യ പവിത്ര ആത്മിന പിതാ യമങ്ഗീകാരം കൃതവാൻ തസ്യ ഫലം പ്രാപ്യ യത് പശ്യഥ ശൃണുഥ ച തദവർഷത്|
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
യതോ ദായൂദ് സ്വർഗം നാരുരോഹ കിന്തു സ്വയമ് ഇമാം കഥാമ് അകഥയദ് യഥാ, മമ പ്രഭുമിദം വാക്യമവദത് പരമേശ്വരഃ|
35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
തവ ശത്രൂനഹം യാവത് പാദപീഠം കരോമി ന| താവത് കാലം മദീയേ ത്വം ദക്ഷവാർശ്വ ഉപാവിശ|
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
അതോ യം യീശും യൂയം ക്രുശേഽഹത പരമേശ്വരസ്തം പ്രഭുത്വാഭിഷിക്തത്വപദേ ന്യയുംക്തേതി ഇസ്രായേലീയാ ലോകാ നിശ്ചിതം ജാനന്തു|
37 Now when they heard [this], they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men [and] brethren, what shall we do?
ഏതാദൃശീം കഥാം ശ്രുത്വാ തേഷാം ഹൃദയാനാം വിദീർണത്വാത് തേ പിതരായ തദന്യപ്രേരിതേഭ്യശ്ച കഥിതവന്തഃ, ഹേ ഭ്രാതൃഗണ വയം കിം കരിഷ്യാമഃ?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
തതഃ പിതരഃ പ്രത്യവദദ് യൂയം സർവ്വേ സ്വം സ്വം മനഃ പരിവർത്തയധ്വം തഥാ പാപമോചനാർഥം യീശുഖ്രീഷ്ടസ്യ നാമ്നാ മജ്ജിതാശ്ച ഭവത, തസ്മാദ് ദാനരൂപം പരിത്രമ് ആത്മാനം ലപ്സ്യഥ|
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call.
യതോ യുഷ്മാകം യുഷ്മത്സന്താനാനാഞ്ച ദൂരസ്ഥസർവ്വലോകാനാഞ്ച നിമിത്തമ് അർഥാദ് അസ്മാകം പ്രഭുഃ പരമേശ്വരോ യാവതോ ലാകാൻ ആഹ്വാസ്യതി തേഷാം സർവ്വേഷാം നിമിത്തമ് അയമങ്ഗീകാര ആസ്തേ|
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
ഏതദന്യാഭി ർബഹുകഥാഭിഃ പ്രമാണം ദത്വാകഥയത് ഏതേഭ്യോ വിപഥഗാമിഭ്യോ വർത്തമാനലോകേഭ്യഃ സ്വാൻ രക്ഷത|
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.
തതഃ പരം യേ സാനന്ദാസ്താം കഥാമ് അഗൃഹ്ലൻ തേ മജ്ജിതാ അഭവൻ| തസ്മിൻ ദിവസേ പ്രായേണ ത്രീണി സഹസ്രാണി ലോകാസ്തേഷാം സപക്ഷാഃ സന്തഃ
42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
പ്രേരിതാനാമ് ഉപദേശേ സങ്ഗതൗ പൂപഭഞ്ജനേ പ്രാർഥനാസു ച മനഃസംയോഗം കൃത്വാതിഷ്ഠൻ|
43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
പ്രേരിതൈ ർനാനാപ്രകാരലക്ഷണേഷു മഹാശ്ചര്യ്യകർമമസു ച ദർശിതേഷു സർവ്വലോകാനാം ഭയമുപസ്ഥിതം|
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
വിശ്വാസകാരിണഃ സർവ്വ ച സഹ തിഷ്ഠനതഃ| സ്വേഷാം സർവ്വാഃ സമ്പത്തീഃ സാധാരണ്യേന സ്ഥാപയിത്വാഭുഞ്ജത|
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all [men], as every man had need.
ഫലതോ ഗൃഹാണി ദ്രവ്യാണി ച സർവ്വാണി വിക്രീയ സർവ്വേഷാം സ്വസ്വപ്രയോജനാനുസാരേണ വിഭജ്യ സർവ്വേഭ്യോഽദദൻ|
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
സർവ്വ ഏകചിത്തീഭൂയ ദിനേ ദിനേ മന്ദിരേ സന്തിഷ്ഠമാനാ ഗൃഹേ ഗൃഹേ ച പൂപാനഭഞ്ജന്ത ഈശ്വരസ്യ ധന്യവാദം കുർവ്വന്തോ ലോകൈഃ സമാദൃതാഃ പരമാനന്ദേന സരലാന്തഃകരണേന ഭോജനം പാനഞ്ചകുർവ്വൻ|
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
പരമേശ്വരോ ദിനേ ദിനേ പരിത്രാണഭാജനൈ ർമണ്ഡലീമ് അവർദ്ധയത്|
