< 2 Timothy 1 >

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
Paul, Isor laga itcha pora Jisu Khrista laga ekjon apostle, jibon laga kosom juntu Jisu Khrista te ase,
2 To Timothy, [my] dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, [and] peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
moi laga morom bacha, Timothy ke likhi ase: Baba Isor aru Khrista Jisu amikhan Probhu laga kripa, daya, aru shanti thakibi.
3 I thank God, whom I serve from [my] forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
Ami Isor ke bisi dhanyavad di ase, junke moi laga baba khan laga din pora moi sewa kori ahise, sapha bhabona loi kene, jun nimite ami kaam kori ase, ami narukhi kene din raat apuni ke ami laga prathana pora monte rakhe.
4 Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;
Ami tumi laga suku pani ke yaad kori thake, ami tumike bisi sabole mon hoi ase, titia ami laga khushi pora bhorta hobo.
5 When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
Tumi laga asol biswas moi yaad kori dise, juntu poila tumi laga ama Eunice aru nani Lois logot bhi thakise, aru ami pura biswas ase tumi logot bhi ase.
6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
Etu kotha nimite, ami tumike yaad kori bole di ase, moi laga hath tumi uporte rakhikena Isor ke mangi diya bordan, juntu tumi bhitor te ase, etu ke notun kori kene chola bhi.
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Kilekoile Isor amikhan ke bhoi laga atma diya nai, hoile bhi hokti aru morom aru bhal niyom laga atma dise.
8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
Etu nimite tumi Isor laga gawahi kori bole sorom na koribi, nohoile bhi moi nimite, jun Isor laga noukar ase. Ulta, Isor laga hokti hisab te amikhan eke logote susamachar karone Khrista nimite dukh koribo.
9 Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, (aiōnios g166)
Isor he amikhan ke bachai dise aru pobitro hobo nimite matise, amikhan laga kaam hisab te nohoi, hoile bhi Tai laga Nijor itcha aru anugraha hisab te, juntu, somoi shuru nohua age te, Khrista Jisu te Tai amikhan ke dise, (aiōnios g166)
10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
juntu etiya amikhan laga Tran-Korta Jisu Khrista ulai aha te prokahit kori dise. Tai hosa pora bhi mrityu ke khotom kori dise, aru jibon aru anonto jibon ke Tai laga susamachar pora ujala te anidise.
11 Where unto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
Juntu nimite amike procharok, apostle, aru hikhok hobole Isor pora basi loise.
12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
Eitu khan nimite ami bhi bisi dukh kore. Hoilebi ami sorom nakore, kele koile ami Taike jani ase junke ami biswas kore, aru ami biswas ase hekh din tak Tai juntu jimedari amike dise etu rakhibo.
13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
Ami juntu hosa kotha tumike hunai dise, bhal pora mani kene thakibi aru Jisu Khrista ke biswas koribi aru Tai laga morom te thakibi.
14 That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.
Utu bhal kaam juntu tumi uporte jimedari dise, amikhan bhitor te thaka Pobitro Atma pora etu ke hoshiar pora bachai kene rukhibi.
15 This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.
Etu tumi jani ase, ta te sob manu jun khan Asia desh te ase taikhan sob amike chari dise, taikhan majote Phygelus aru Hermogenes bhi ase.
16 The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:
Probhu he Onesiphorus laga ghor uporte daya thaki bole dibi, kele koile tai amike mon khushi koridi thake aru ami koidi ghor te ase koi kene tai sorom nalage.
17 But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found [me].
Hoile bhi, jitia tai Rome sheher te ahise, tai amike lok nakora tak amike bisari thakise.
18 The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.
Probhu laga dinte Probhu he taike daya pabole rasta dikhai dibi. Tumi bhal pora jani ase tai Ephesus sheher te ami nimite kiman bhal pora modot korise.
