2 Samuel 22
1 And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day [that] the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
जब ख़ुदावन्द ने दाऊद को उसके सब दुश्मनों और साऊल के हाथ से रिहाई दी तो उसने ख़ुदावन्द के सामने इस मज़मून का हम्द सुनाया।
2 And he said, The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
वह कहने लगा, ख़ुदावन्द मेरी चट्टान और मेरा किला' और मेरा छुड़ाने वाला है।
3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: [he is] my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
ख़ुदा मेरी चट्टान है, मैं उसी पर भरोसा रख्खूँगा, वही मेरी ढाल और मेरी नजात का सींग है, मेरा ऊँचा बुर्ज और मेरी पनाह है, मेरे नजात देने वाले! तूही मुझे ज़ुल्म से बचाता है।
4 I will call on the LORD, [who is] worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
मैं ख़ुदावन्द को जो ता'रीफ़ के लायक़ है पुकारूँगा, यूँ मैं अपने दुश्मनों से बचाया जाऊँगा।
5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
क्यूँकि मौत की मौजों ने मुझे घेरा, बेदीनी के सैलाबों ने मुझे डराया।
पाताल की रस्सियाँ मेरे चारो तरफ़ थीं मौत के फंदे मुझ पर आते थे। (Sheol h7585)
7 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry [did enter] into his ears.
अपनी मुसीबत में मैंने ख़ुदावन्द को पुकारा, मैं अपने ख़ुदा के सामने चिल्लाया। उसने अपनी हैकल में से मेरी आवाज़ सुनी और मेरी फ़रयाद उसके कान में पहुँची।
8 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.
तब ज़मीन हिल गई और काँप उठी और आसमान की बुनियादों ने जुम्बिश खाई और हिल गयीं, इसलिए कि वह ग़ुस्सा हुआ।
9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
उसके नथुनों से धुवाँ उठा और उसके मुँह से आग निकल कर भस्म करने लगी, कोयले उससे दहक उठे।
10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness [was] under his feet.
उसने आसमानों को भी झुका दिया और नीचे उतर आया और उसके पाँव तले गहरा अँधेरा था।
11 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
वह करूबी पर सवार होकर उदा और हवा के बाज़ुओं पर दिखाई दिया।
12 And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, [and] thick clouds of the skies.
और उसने अपने चारों तरफ़ अँधेरे को और पानी के इज्तिमा'और आसमान के दलदार बादलों को शामियाने बनाया।
13 Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.
उस झलक से जो उसके आगे आगे थी आग के कोयले सुलग गये।
14 The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.
ख़ुदावन्द आसमान से गरजा और हक़ त'आला ने अपनी आवाज़ सुनाई।
15 And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.
उसने तीर चला कर उनको तितर बितर किया, और बिजली से उनको शिकस्त दी।
16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
तब ख़ुदावन्द की डॉट से; उसके नथुनों के दम के झोंके से, समुन्दर की गहराई दिखाई देने लगी, और जहान की बुनियादें नमूदार हुईं।
17 He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
उसने ऊपर से हाथ बढ़ाकर मुझे थाम लिया, और मुझे बहुत पानी में से खींच कर बाहर निकाला।
18 He delivered me from my strong enemy, [and] from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
उसने मेरे ताक़तवर दुश्मन और मेरे 'अदावत रखने वालों से, मुझे छुड़ा लिया क्यूँकि वह मेरे लिए निहायत बहादुर थे।
19 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
वह मेरी मुसीबत के दिन मुझ पर आ पड़े, पर ख़ुदावन्द मेरा सहारा था।
20 He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
वह मुझे चौड़ी जगह में निकाल भी लाया, उसने मुझे छुड़ाया, इसलिए कि वह मुझसे ख़ुश था।
21 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
ख़ुदावन्द ने मेरी रास्तबाज़ी के मुवाफ़िक़ मुझे बदला दिया, और मेरे हाथों की पाकीज़गी के मुताबिक़ मुझे बदला दिया।
22 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
क्यूँकि मैं ख़ुदावन्द की राहों पर चलता रहा, और ग़ल्ती से अपने ख़ुदा से अलग न हुआ।
23 For all his judgments [were] before me: and [as for] his statutes, I did not depart from them.
क्यूँकि उसके सारे फ़ैसले मेरे सामने थे, और मैं उसके क़ानून से अलग न हुआ।
24 I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.
मैं उसके सामने कामिल भी रहा, और अपनी बदकारी से बा'ज़ रहा।
25 Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.
इसीलिए ख़ुदावन्द ने मुझे मेरी रास्तबाज़ी के मुवाफ़िक़ बल्कि मेरी उस पाकीज़गी के मुताबिक़ जो उसकी नज़र के सामने थी बदला दिया।
26 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, [and] with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
रहम दिल के साथ तू रहीम होगा, और कामिल आदमी के साथ कामिल।
27 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.
नेकों के साथ नेक होगा, और टेढों के साथ टेढ़ा।
28 And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes [are] upon the haughty, [that] thou mayest bring [them] down.
मुसीबत ज़दा लोगों को तू बचाएगा, लेकिन तेरी आँखें मग़रूरों पर लगी हैं ताकि तू उन्हें नीचा करे।
29 For thou [art] my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
क्यूँकि ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! तू मेरा चराग़ है, और ख़ुदावन्द मेरे अँधेरे को उजाला कर देगा।
30 For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
क्यूँकि तेरी बदौलत मैं फ़ौज पर जंग करता हूँ, और अपने ख़ुदा की बदौलत दीवार फाँद जाता हूँ।
31 [As for] God, his way [is] perfect; the word of the LORD [is] tried: he [is] a buckler to all them that trust in him.
लेकिन ख़ुदा की राह कामिल है, ख़ुदावन्द का कलाम ताया हुआ है, वह उन सबकी ढाल है जो उसपर भरोसा रखते हैं।
32 For who [is] God, save the LORD? and who [is] a rock, save our God?
क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द के 'अलावा और कौन ख़ुदा है? और हमारे ख़ुदा को छोड़ कर और कौन चटटान है?
33 God [is] my strength [and] power: and he maketh my way perfect.
ख़ुदा मेरा मज़बूत किला' है, वह अपनी राह में कामिल शख़्स की रहनुमाई करता है।
34 He maketh my feet like hinds’ [feet: ] and setteth me upon my high places.
वह उसके पाँव हिरनी के से बना देता है, और मुझे मेरी ऊँची जगहों में क़ाईम करता है।
35 He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
वह मेरे हाथों को जंग करना सिखाता है, यहाँ तक कि मेरे बाज़ू पीतल की कमान को झुका देते हैं।
36 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
तूने मुझको अपनी नजात की ढाल भी बख़्शी, और तेरी नरमी ने मुझे बुज़ुर्ग बना दिया।
37 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.
तूने मेरे नीचे मेरे क़दम चौड़े कर दिए, और मेरे पाँव नहीं फिसले।
38 I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
मैंने अपने दुश्मनों का पीछा करके उनको हलाक किया, और जब तक वह फ़ना न हो गये मैं वापस नहीं आया।
39 And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.
मैंने उनको फ़ना कर दिया और ऐसा छेद डाला है कि वह उठ नहीं सकते, बल्कि वह तो मेरे पाँव के नीचे गिरे पड़े हैं।
40 For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
क्यूँकि तूने लड़ाई के लिए मुझे ताक़त से तैयार किया, और मेरे मुख़ालिफ़ों को मेरे सामने नीचा किया।
41 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
तूने मेरे दुश्मनों की पीठ मेरी तरफ़ फेरदी, ताकि मैं अपने 'अदावत रखने वालों को काट डालूँ।
42 They looked, but [there was] none to save; [even] unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
उन्होंने इन्तिज़ार किया लेकिन कोई न था जो बचाए, बल्कि ख़ुदावन्द का भी इन्तिज़ार किया, लेकिन उसने उनको जवाब न दिया।
43 Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, [and] did spread them abroad.
तब मैंने उनको कूट कूट कर ज़मीन की गर्द की तरह कर दिया, मैंने उनको गली कूचों के कीचड़ की तरह रौंद कर चारो तरफ़ फैला दिया।
44 Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me [to be] head of the heathen: a people [which] I knew not shall serve me.
तूने मुझे मेरी क़ौम के झगड़ों से भी छुड़ाया, तूने मुझे क़ौमों का सरदार होने के लिए रख छोड़ा है, जिस क़ौम से मैं वाक़िफ़ भी नहीं वह मेरी फ़रमा बरदार होगी।
45 Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.
परदेसी मेरे ताबे' हो जायेंगे, वह मेरा नाम सुनते ही मेरी फ़रमाबर्दारी करेंगे।
46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
परदेसी मुरझा जायेंगे और अपने किलों'से थरथराते हुए निकलेंगे।
47 The LORD liveth; and blessed [be] my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
ख़ुदावन्द ज़िन्दा है, मेरी चटटान मुबारक हो! और ख़ुदा मेरे नजात की चटटान मुम्ताज़ हो!
48 It [is] God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
वही ख़ुदा जो मेरा बदला लेता है, और उम्मतों को मेरे ताबे' कर देता है।
49 And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
और मुझे मेरे दुश्मनों के बीच से निकालता है, हाँ तू मुझे मेरे मुख़ालिफ़ों पर सरफ़राज़ करता है, तू मुझे टेढ़े आदमियों से रिहाई देता है।
50 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
इसलिए ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! मैं क़ौमों के बीच तेरी शुक्रगुज़ारी और तेरे नाम की मदह सराई करूँगा।
51 [He is] the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.
वह अपने बादशाह को बड़ी नजात 'इनायत करता है, और अपने ममसूह दाऊद और उसकी नसल पर हमेशा शफ़क़त करता है।
