2 Samuel 22
1 And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day [that] the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
൧യഹോവ ദാവീദിനെ സകലശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും ശൌലിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും വിടുവിച്ച ദിവസം അവൻ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ചൊല്ലിയ കീർത്തനം:
2 And he said, The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
൨“യഹോവ എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും എന്റെ രക്ഷകനും ആകുന്നു.
3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: [he is] my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
൩എന്റെ ബലമായ ദൈവം; അങ്ങയിൽ ഞാൻ ആശ്രയിക്കും; എന്റെ പരിചയും എന്റെ രക്ഷയായ കൊമ്പും എന്റെ അഭയസ്ഥാനവും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും തന്നെ. എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, അങ്ങ് എന്നെ അക്രമത്തിൽനിന്ന് രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
4 I will call on the LORD, [who is] worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
൪സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെടുവാൻ യോഗ്യനായ യഹോവയെ ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളിൽനിന്ന് അവിടുന്ന് എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കും.
5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
൫മരണത്തിന്റെ തിരമാല എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു; ദുഷ്ടതയുടെ കുത്തൊഴുക്കുകൾ എന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തി;
൬പാതാളപാശങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ചുറ്റി; മരണത്തിന്റെ കെണികൾ എന്റെ മേൽ വീണു. (Sheol h7585)
7 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry [did enter] into his ears.
൭എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ വിളിച്ചു, എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടുതന്നെ നിലവിളിച്ചു, അവിടുന്ന് അവിടുത്തെ ആലയത്തിൽനിന്ന് എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു; എന്റെ നിലവിളി അവിടുത്തെ ചെവികളിൽ എത്തി.
8 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.
൮അവിടുന്ന് കോപിക്കയാൽ ഭൂമി ഞെട്ടിവിറച്ചു, ആകാശത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ ഇളകി, അവ കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോയി.
9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
൯അവിടുത്തെ മൂക്കിൽനിന്നു പുകപൊങ്ങി, അവിടുത്തെ വായിൽനിന്നു ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീ പുറപ്പെട്ടു, തീക്കനൽ അവനിൽനിന്ന് ജ്വലിച്ചു.
10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness [was] under his feet.
൧൦അവിടുന്ന് ആകാശം ചായിച്ചിറങ്ങി; കൂരിരുൾ അവിടുത്തെ കാല്ക്കീഴുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
11 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
൧൧അവിടുന്ന് ഒരു കെരൂബിന്മേലേറി പറന്നു, കാറ്റിൻ ചിറകിന്മേൽ അവിടുന്ന് പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.
12 And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, [and] thick clouds of the skies.
൧൨അവിടുന്ന് അന്ധകാരത്തെ ചുറ്റും മറയാക്കി; ആകാശത്തിലെ ഇരുണ്ട വെള്ളങ്ങളും കനത്ത മേഘങ്ങളും കൂടെ.
13 Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.
൧൩അവിടുത്തെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള പ്രകാശത്താൽ തീക്കനൽ ജ്വലിച്ചു.
14 The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.
൧൪യഹോവ ആകാശത്തിൽ ഇടി മുഴക്കി, അത്യുന്നതൻ അവിടുത്തെ ശബ്ദം കേൾപ്പിച്ചു.
15 And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.
൧൫അവിടുന്ന് അമ്പ് എയ്ത് അവരെ ചിതറിച്ചു, മിന്നൽ അയച്ച് അവരെ തോല്പിച്ചു.
16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
൧൬യഹോവയുടെ ശാസനയാൽ, തിരുമൂക്കിലെ ശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ ഊത്തിനാൽ കടലിന്റെ ചാലുകൾ കാണപ്പെട്ടു ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ വെളിപ്പെട്ടു.
17 He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
൧൭അവിടുന്ന് ഉയരത്തിൽനിന്ന് കൈ നീട്ടി എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു, പെരുവെള്ളത്തിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ വലിച്ചെടുത്തു.
18 He delivered me from my strong enemy, [and] from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
൧൮അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ ബലമുള്ള ശത്രുവിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ പകച്ചവരിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; അവർ എന്നിലും ബലമേറിയവർ ആയിരുന്നു.
19 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
൧൯എന്റെ അനർത്ഥദിവസത്തിൽ അവർ എന്നെ ആക്രമിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ യഹോവ എനിക്ക് തുണയായിരുന്നു.
20 He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
൨൦അവിടുന്ന് എന്നെ അപകടത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് വിടുവിച്ചു, എന്നിൽ പ്രസാദിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു.
21 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
൨൧യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എനിക്ക് പ്രതിഫലം നല്കി, എന്റെ കൈകളുടെ വെടിപ്പിനൊത്തവണ്ണം എനിക്ക് പകരം തന്നു.
22 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
൨൨ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ വഴികളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു, എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോട് ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തതുമില്ല.
23 For all his judgments [were] before me: and [as for] his statutes, I did not depart from them.
൨൩അവിടുത്തെ വിധികൾ ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ മുമ്പിലുണ്ട്; അവിടുത്തെ ചട്ടങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് ഞാൻ വിട്ടുനടന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.
24 I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.
൨൪ഞാൻ അങ്ങയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നിഷ്കളങ്കനായിരുന്നു, അകൃത്യം ചെയ്യാതെ ഞാൻ എന്നെ തന്നെ കാത്തു.
25 Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.
൨൫യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണവും അങ്ങയുടെ കാഴ്ചയിൽ എന്റെ നിർമ്മലതക്കൊത്തവണ്ണവും എനിക്ക് പകരം നല്കി.
26 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, [and] with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
൨൬ദയാലുവോട് അങ്ങ് ദയാലുവാകുന്നു; നിഷ്കളങ്കനോട് അങ്ങ് നിഷ്കളങ്കൻ.
27 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.
൨൭നിർമ്മലനോട് അങ്ങ് നിർമ്മലനാകുന്നു; വക്രനോട് അങ്ങ് വക്രത കാണിക്കുന്നു.
28 And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes [are] upon the haughty, [that] thou mayest bring [them] down.
൨൮താഴ്മയുള്ള ജനത്തെ അങ്ങ് രക്ഷിക്കും; നിഗളിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നവരെ താഴ്ത്തേണ്ടതിന് അങ്ങ് അവരുടെ മേൽ ദൃഷ്ടിവക്കുന്നു.
29 For thou [art] my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
൨൯യഹോവേ, അങ്ങ് എന്റെ ദീപം ആകുന്നു; യഹോവ എന്റെ അന്ധകാരത്തെ പ്രകാശമാക്കും.
30 For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
൩൦അങ്ങയുടെ ശക്തിയാൽ ഞാൻ പടക്കൂട്ടത്തിന്റെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുചെല്ലും; എന്റെ ദൈവത്താൽ ഞാൻ മതിൽ ചാടിക്കടക്കും.
31 [As for] God, his way [is] perfect; the word of the LORD [is] tried: he [is] a buckler to all them that trust in him.
൩൧ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വഴി പൂർണ്ണതയുള്ളത്, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം ഊതിക്കഴിച്ചത്; അവിടുത്തെ ശരണമാക്കുന്ന ഏവർക്കും അവിടുന്ന് പരിച ആകുന്നു.
32 For who [is] God, save the LORD? and who [is] a rock, save our God?
൩൨യഹോവയല്ലാതെ ദൈവം ആരുള്ളു? നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം ഒഴികെ പാറ ആരുള്ളു?
33 God [is] my strength [and] power: and he maketh my way perfect.
൩൩ദൈവം എന്റെ ബലവും ശക്തിയും ആകുന്നു, അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ വഴി കുറ്റമറ്റതാക്കുന്നു.
34 He maketh my feet like hinds’ [feet: ] and setteth me upon my high places.
൩൪അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ കാലുകളെ മാൻപേടക്കാലുകൾക്ക് തുല്യമാക്കി ഉയരങ്ങളിൽ എന്നെ നില്‍ക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.
35 He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
൩൫അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ കൈകൾക്ക് യുദ്ധ പരിശീലനം നൽകുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ട് എന്റെ കൈകൾക്ക് താമ്രംകൊണ്ടുള്ള വില്ല് കുലക്കാം.
36 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
൩൬അങ്ങയുടെ രക്ഷ എന്ന പരിചയും അങ്ങ് എനിക്ക് തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങയുടെ സൗമ്യത എന്നെ വലിയവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
37 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.
൩൭ഞാൻ കാലടിവെക്കേണ്ടതിനു അങ്ങ് വിശാലത വരുത്തി; എന്റെ പാദങ്ങൾ വഴുതിപ്പോയതുമില്ല.
38 I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
൩൮ഞാൻ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ പിന്തുടർന്ന് നശിപ്പിച്ചു അവർ നശിക്കുവോളം ഞാൻ പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല.
39 And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.
൩൯അവർ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഞാൻ അവരെ നശിപ്പിക്കുകയും മുറിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു, അവർ എന്റെ കാല്ക്കീഴിൽ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.
40 For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
൪൦യുദ്ധത്തിനായി അങ്ങ് എന്റെ അരയ്ക്ക് ശക്തി കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എനിക്കെതിരെ എഴുന്നേറ്റവരെ അങ്ങ് എനിക്ക് കീഴടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
41 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
൪൧എന്നെ വെറുക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാൻ നശിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന് അങ്ങ് എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കഴുത്തും എനിക്ക് തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
42 They looked, but [there was] none to save; [even] unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
൪൨അവർ ചുറ്റും നോക്കിയെങ്കിലും രക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ ആരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കു നോക്കി, അവിടുന്ന് അവർക്ക് ഉത്തരം അരുളിയതുമില്ല.
43 Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, [and] did spread them abroad.
൪൩ഞാൻ അവരെ നിലത്തിലെ പൊടിപോലെ പൊടിച്ചു, വീഥികളിലെ ചെളിയെപോലെ ഞാൻ അവരെ ചവിട്ടി ചിതറിച്ചു.
44 Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me [to be] head of the heathen: a people [which] I knew not shall serve me.
൪൪എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ കലഹങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും അങ്ങ് എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു, ജനതകൾക്ക് എന്നെ തലവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അറിയാത്ത ജനം എന്നെ സേവിക്കും.
45 Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.
൪൫അന്യജാതിക്കാർ എനിക്ക് കീഴ്പെടും; കേട്ട ഉടൻ തന്നെ അവർ എന്നെ അനുസരിക്കും.
46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
൪൬അന്യജാതിക്കാർ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ ദുർഗ്ഗങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് അവർ വിറച്ചുംകൊണ്ട് വരുന്നു.
47 The LORD liveth; and blessed [be] my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
൪൭യഹോവ ജീവിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പാറ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവൻ. എൻ രക്ഷയുടെ പാറയായ ദൈവം ഉന്നതൻ തന്നെ.
48 It [is] God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
൪൮എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യുന്നവനും ജനതകളെ എനിക്ക് കീഴാക്കുന്നവനും ദൈവം തന്നെ.
49 And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
൪൯അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; എനിക്കെതിരെ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുന്നവർക്കു മീതെ അങ്ങ് എന്നെ ഉയർത്തുന്നു; അക്രമിയിൽനിന്ന് അങ്ങ് എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.
50 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
൫൦അതുകൊണ്ട്, യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ അങ്ങയ്ക്ക് സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും, അങ്ങയുടെ നാമത്തെ ഞാൻ കീർത്തിക്കും.
51 [He is] the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.
൫൧അവിടുന്ന് തന്റെ രാജാവിന് രക്ഷാഗോപുരം ആകുന്നു; അവിടുത്തെ അഭിഷിക്തനു ദയ കാണിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിനും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും എന്നെന്നേക്കും തന്നെ”.
