< 2 Kings 21 >

1 Manasseh [was] twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name [was] Hephzi-bah.
Manase gbara afọ iri na abụọ mgbe ọ malitere ịbụ eze. Ọ chịrị iri afọ ise na ise na Jerusalem. Aha nne ya bụ Hefziba.
2 And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
O mere ihe dị njọ nʼanya Onyenwe anyị, site nʼịgbaso ihe arụ niile nke ndị mba ọzọ bi nʼala ahụ na mbụ mere, bụ ndị Onyenwe anyị chụpụrụ nʼihu ndị Izrel.
3 For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
O wugharịrị ebe dị elu niile nke nna ya Hezekaya lara nʼiyi. O wukwara ebe ịchụ aja dị iche iche nye Baal, pịakwa ogidi Ashera, dịka Ehab eze Izrel mere. Ọ kpọrọ isiala nye usuu ihe niile nke dị na mbara eluigwe, feekwa ha ofufe.
4 And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
O wuru ebe ịchụ aja dị iche iche, nʼime ụlọnsọ Onyenwe anyị, nke Onyenwe anyị, kwuru okwu banyere ya sị, “Ọ bụ na Jerusalem ka m ga-etinye Aha m.”
5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
O wuru ebe ịchụ aja nye usuu ihe niile dị na mbara eluigwe, nʼogige abụọ nke nʼụlọnsọ Onyenwe anyị.
6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke [him] to anger.
O jikwa nwa ya nwoke chụọ aja nʼime ọkụ, ọ gbara aja, chọọ ọsịsa nʼaka ndị mgbaasị, jụta ase nʼaka ndị na-ajụ mmụọ ọjọọ ase, ya na ndị dibịa afa mekọkwara ihe. O mere ihe dị njọ nʼebe ọ dị ukwuu nʼanya Onyenwe anyị, si otu a kpasuo ya iwe.
7 And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
O were chi Ashera a pịrị apị, bụ nke o mere, debe nʼime ụlọnsọ ahụ, nke Onyenwe anyị gwara Devid na nwa ya Solomọn okwu, sị, “Nʼụlọnsọ a na nʼime Jerusalem, nke mụ onwe m họpụtara site nʼebo niile nke Izrel, ka m ga-akpọkwasị Aha m ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
8 Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
Ma agaghị emekwa ka ụkwụ ndị Izrel wagharịa ọzọ site nʼala ahụ nke m nyere ndị nna nna ha, naanị ma ọ bụrụ na ha elezie anya debe ihe niile m nyere ha nʼiwu ma debekwa iwu niile nke ohu m bụ Mosis nyere ha.”
9 But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
Ma ha egeghị ntị, Manase duhiere ha, mee ka ha mee ihe dị njọ karịa nke ndị mba niile ndị Onyenwe anyị lara nʼiyi site nʼihu ndị Izrel.
10 And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,
Mgbe ahụ, Onyenwe anyị kwuru okwu site nʼọnụ ndị amụma ya, sị,
11 Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, [and] hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which [were] before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
“Nʼihi na Manase, eze Juda emeela ihe arụ ndị a, o meela ihe dị njọ karịa nke ndị Amọrait, bụ ndị bụ ya ụzọ, o werela arụsị ya duba Juda nʼime mmehie.
12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I [am] bringing [such] evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
Ya mere, nke a bụ ihe Onyenwe anyị, bụ Chineke nke Izrel, sịrị: Lee, ana m aga iweta mbibi dị ukwuu nke ga-adakwasị Jerusalem na Juda, nke ntị ọbụla nụrụ ya ga-azụ wuruwuru.
13 And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as [a man] wipeth a dish, wiping [it], and turning [it] upside down.
14 And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
Aga m agbakụtakwa ndị fọdụrụ nʼihe nketa m azụ, were ha nyefee nʼaka ndị iro ha. Ha ga-aghọ ihe anaara nʼike, ghọọkwa ihe nkwata nʼagha nye ndị iro ha niile,
15 Because they have done [that which was] evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.
nʼihi na ha emeela ihe dị njọ nʼanya m, kpasukwaa m iwe, site nʼụbọchị nna nna ha si Ijipt pụta ọbụladị ruo taa.”
16 Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD.
Nke ka nke, Manase gbukwara ọtụtụ ndị aka ha dị ọcha, ruo na ọ wụsaara ọbara ha site nʼotu akụkụ Jerusalem ruo nʼakụkụ nke ọzọ ya, nke a agụnyeghị mmehie ahụ nke o dubara ndị Juda ime, nke mere ka ha mee ihe dị njọ nʼanya Onyenwe anyị.
17 Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
Ma banyere ihe ndị ọzọ niile mere nʼoge ọchịchị Manase na ihe niile o mere, tinyere mmehie niile nke o mere, ọ bụ na e deghị ha nʼakwụkwọ akụkọ ihe mere nʼoge ndị eze Juda?
18 And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
19 Amon [was] twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name [was] Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
Amọn gbara iri afọ abụọ na abụọ mgbe ọ malitere ịbụ eze. Ọ chịrị afọ abụọ na Jerusalem. Aha nne ya bụ Meshulemet, ada Haruz onye Jotba.
20 And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.
O mere ihe dị njọ nʼanya Onyenwe anyị dịka nna ya Manase mere.
21 And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:
Ọ gbasoro ụzọ ahụ niile dị iche nke nna ya gbasoro. O fere arụsị niile nke nna ya fere, kpọọkwa isiala nye ha.
22 And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.
23 And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.
24 And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
25 Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
Ma banyere ihe ndị ọzọ niile mere nʼoge ọchịchị Amọn na ihe ndị o mere, ọ bụ na e deghị ha nʼakwụkwọ akụkọ ihe mere nʼoge ndị eze Juda?
26 And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
E liri ya nʼili nke aka ya, dị nʼogige Ụza. Josaya nwa ya ghọrọ eze nʼọnọdụ ya.
