< 2 Corinthians 11 >
1 Would to God ye could bear with me a little in [my] folly: and indeed bear with me.
Mewɔ anidasoɔ sɛ, sɛ meyɛ nkwaseadeɛ koraa a, mobɛgye me. Mepa mo kyɛw, monyɛ saa.
2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present [you as] a chaste virgin to Christ.
Metwe mo ho ninkunu, sɛdeɛ Onyankopɔn twe mo ho ninkunu no. Mote sɛ ɔbaabunu a mahyɛ no awadeɛ ho bɔ ama ɔbarima baako pɛ bi a ɔno ne Kristo.
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Mesuro sɛ wɔbɛsɛe mo adwene na mo a mode mo ho nyinaa ama Kristo no, mobɛgyae sɛdeɛ ɔwɔ no nam anifire so daadaa Hawa no.
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or [if] ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with [him].
Mode anigyeɛ gye obiara a ɔba mo nkyɛn bɛka Yesu foforɔ a ɔnnyɛ deɛ yɛka ne ho asɛm kyerɛ mo no di; mogye honhom bi ne asɛmpa bi a nsonsonoeɛ da ɛno ne Honhom ne Asɛmpa a yɛka kyerɛ mo no ntam no di.
5 For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.
Mennye nni sɛ meyɛ “Asomafoɔ” no mu abomfiaa.
6 But though [I be] rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.
Ebia mʼano ntee deɛ, nanso mʼadwene mu abue. Ɛkwan biara so, yɛama mo ate saa asɛm yi ase.
7 Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?
Mebɛkaa Onyankopɔn Asɛmpa no kyerɛɛ mo no, mannye mo hwee. Mebrɛɛ me ho ase sɛdeɛ ɛbɛma mo akrɔn. Bɔne a meyɛeɛ ne sɛ meyɛɛ saa?
8 I robbed other churches, taking wages [of them], to do you service.
Ɛberɛ a na mereyɛ mo mu adwuma no, asafo afoforɔ bi na na wɔtua me ka.
9 And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all [things] I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and [so] will I keep [myself].
Ɛberɛ a na mewɔ mo nkyɛn no, sɛ sika ho hia me a, na menha mo. Na anuanom a wɔte Makedonia no de biribiara a ɛho hia me brɛ me. Sɛdeɛ na ɛte mmerɛ a atwam no, saa ara nso na daakye ɛbɛyɛ. Merenyɛ adesoa mma mo da.
10 As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
Kristo nokorɛdie a ahyɛ me ma enti, mehyɛ mo bɔ sɛ obiara rentumi nka mʼahohoahoa yi nhyɛ wɔ Helaman mu da.
11 Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth.
Adɛn enti na meka saa? Ɛfiri sɛ, mennɔ mo anaa? Onyankopɔn nim sɛ medɔ mo.
12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.
Mɛkɔ so madi dwuma a meredi no seesei yi sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, saa “asomafoɔ” no rennya kwan nhoahoa wɔn ho sɛ dwuma a wɔdi no te sɛ yɛn dwuma a yɛdi no pɛ.
13 For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
Saa nnipa no nyɛ nokorɛ asomafoɔ. Wɔyɛ atorɔ asomafoɔ a wɔnam twa atorɔ wɔ wɔn adwuma ho ma nnipa hunu wɔn sɛ wɔyɛ Kristo asomafoɔ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Ɛnyɛ me nwanwa, ɛfiri sɛ, ɔbonsam koraa tumi sesa ne ho ma ɔdane yɛ sɛ hann.
15 Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Enti ɛnyɛ nwanwa sɛ nʼasomfoɔ tumi sesa wɔn ho de daadaa nnipa sɛ wɔyɛ papa. Awieeɛ no, wɔbɛnya wɔn nneyɛeɛ so akatua pɛpɛɛpɛ.
16 I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.
Meti mu ka bio sɛ: Ɛnsɛ sɛ obiara susu sɛ meyɛ ɔkwasea. Sɛ mosusu saa a, ɛnneɛ monnye me sɛdeɛ mobɛgye ɔkwasea na menam so matumi mahoahoa me ho.
17 That which I speak, I speak [it] not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.
Asɛm a mereka yi nyɛ deɛ Awurade pɛ sɛ meka. Meka ahohoahoa ho asɛm a, na mekasa sɛ ɔkwasea.
18 Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.
Nanso, ɛsiane sɛ nnipa bebree hoahoa wɔn ho nipasu mu enti, me nso mɛyɛ saa.
19 For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye [yourselves] are wise.
Mo ankasa mo ani ate enti mode anigyeɛ gye nkwaseafoɔ.
20 For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour [you], if a man take [of you], if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.
Mogye obi a ɔhyɛ mo so anaa deɛ ɔnya mo ho biribi anaa deɛ ɔsum mo afidie anaa deɛ ɔmmu mo anaa deɛ ɔbɔ mo ani so.
21 I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly, ) I am bold also.
Mefɛre sɛ mɛgye yei ato mu, nanso yɛn ahoɔmmerɛ na ɛma yɛyɛɛ saa. Sɛ obi tumi de biribi hoahoa ne ho a, merekasa sɛ ɔkwasea, e nso mɛtumi ahoahoa me ho wɔ dekodeɛ no ho bi.
22 Are they Hebrews? so [am] I. Are they Israelites? so [am] I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so [am] I.
Wɔyɛ Hebrifoɔ anaa? Me nso meyɛ bi. Wɔyɛ Israelfoɔ anaa? Me nso meyɛ bi. Wɔyɛ Abraham asefoɔ anaa? Me nso meyɛ bi.
23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I [am] more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
Wɔyɛ Kristo asomfoɔ anaa? Merekasa sɛ ɔbɔdamfoɔ. Nanso, meyɛ ɔsomfoɔ pa sene wɔn. Mayɛ adwuma a ɛyɛ den sene wɔn; mada afiase mpɛn bebree; wɔabɔ me mmaa bebree na metaa mebɛn owuo nso.
24 Of the Jews five times received I forty [stripes] save one.
Yudafoɔ bɔɔ me mmaa aduasa nkron ahodoɔ enum.
25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;
Romafoɔ bɔɔ me mmaa mprɛnsa na wɔsii me aboɔ pɛnkorɔ. Metenaa ahyɛn mu maa ɛbɔeɛ mprɛnsa. Medii nsuo ase nnɔnhwere aduonu ɛnan pɛn.
26 [In] journeyings often, [in] perils of waters, [in] perils of robbers, [in] perils by [mine own] countrymen, [in] perils by the heathen, [in] perils in the city, [in] perils in the wilderness, [in] perils in the sea, [in] perils among false brethren;
Mʼakwantuo ahodoɔ mu, mehyiaa nsuyire ne akwanmukafoɔ. Mehunuu amane wɔ Yudafoɔ ne amanamanmufoɔ nsam. Mehunuu nkuro so amane. Mehunuu wiram amane. Mehunuu ɛpo so amane ne nnamfoɔ a wɔnka nokorɛ nsam amane.
27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
Mayɛ adwuma a ɛyɛ den na ɔbrɛ wɔ mu. Mpɛn pii, menna. Ɛkɔm ne sukɔm dee me. Mpɛn pii, mennya aduane a ɛbɛso me nni. Mennya baabi nna anaa atadeɛ nhyɛ.
28 Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.
Ɛberɛ biara na mema asafo ahodoɔ no ho nsɛm yɛ me asɛnhia.
29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?
Sɛ obi yɛ mmerɛ a ɛma me nso meyɛ mmerɛ. Sɛ obi ka ɔfoforɔ kɔ bɔne mu a, ɛma me werɛ ho.
30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.
Sɛ mehoahoa me ho a, na ɛsɛ sɛ mehoahoa me ho wɔ nneɛma a ɛkyerɛ me mmerɛyɛ no mu.
31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not. (aiōn )
Awurade Yesu no, Onyankopɔn ne Agya no a ɛsɛ sɛ yɛkamfo no no nim sɛ merentwa nkontompo. (aiōn )
32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:
Ɛberɛ a mewɔ Damasko no, Amrado a na ɔhyɛ Ɔhene Areta ase no maa awɛmfoɔ wɛnee kuro no ɛpono pɛɛ sɛ wɔkyere me.
33 And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
Nanso, wɔde me sii kɛntɛn mu twetwee me faa ɔfasuo bi a apae tokuro mu de me sii fam maa medwane firii ne nsam.
