2 Chronicles 9
1 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.
௧சேபாவின் அரசி, சாலொமோனின் புகழைக் கேள்விப்பட்டபோது, விடுகதைகளினாலே சாலொமோனை சோதிக்கிறதற்காக, திரளான கூட்டத்தினரோடும், கந்தவர்க்கங்களையும், மிகுதியான பொன்னையும் இரத்தினங்களையும் சுமக்கிற ஒட்டகங்களோடும் எருசலேமுக்கு வந்தாள்; அவள் சாலொமோனிடத்திற்கு வந்தபோது, தன் மனதிலிருந்த எல்லாவற்றையும் குறித்து அவனிடத்தில் உரையாடினாள்.
2 And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not.
௨அப்பொழுது சாலொமோன் அவள் கேட்டவைகளுக்கெல்லாம் பதில் கூறினான்; அவளுக்கு பதில் கூறமுடியாதபடி ஒன்றாகிலும் சாலொமோனுக்கு மறைபொருளாயிருக்கவில்லை.
3 And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,
௩சேபாவின் அரசி சாலொமோனுடைய பானபாத்திரக்காரர்களையும், அரண்மனையையும்,
4 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.
௪பந்தியின் உணவு வகைகளையும், அவன் ஊழியக்காரரின் வீடுகளையும், உத்தியோகஸ்தரின் வரிசையையும், அவர்கள் உடைகளையும், அவனுடைய பானபாத்திரக்காரர்களையும், அவர்கள் உடைகளையும், யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும் நடைமண்டபத்தையும் கண்டபோது அவள் ஆச்சரியத்தால் பிரமித்து,
5 And she said to the king, [It was] a true report which I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom:
௫ராஜாவை நோக்கி: உம்முடைய செயல்களையும், உம்முடைய ஞானத்தையும்குறித்து, நான் என் தேசத்திலே கேட்ட செய்தி உண்மைதான்.
6 Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen [it: ] and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: [for] thou exceedest the fame that I heard.
௬நான் வந்து அதை என் கண்களால் பார்க்கும்வரை அவர்களுடைய வார்த்தைகளை நம்பவில்லை; உம்முடைய பெரிய ஞானத்தில் பாதியாகிலும் அவர்கள் எனக்கு அறிவிக்கவில்லை; நான் கேள்விப்பட்ட புகழ்ச்சியைவிட அதிகம் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது.
7 Happy [are] thy men, and happy [are] these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.
௭உம்முடைய மக்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; எப்போதும் உமக்கு முன்பாக நின்று, உம்முடைய ஞானத்தைக் கேட்கிற உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரர்களும் பாக்கியவான்கள்.
8 Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, [to be] king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.
௮உம்முடைய தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக நீர் ராஜாவாயிருக்கும்படிக்கு, உம்மைத் தம்முடைய சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருக்கச் செய்ய, உம்மேல் பிரியங்கொண்ட உம்முடைய தேவனாகிய யெகோவா ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்படுவாராக; உம்முடைய தேவன் இஸ்ரவேலை என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைநிறுத்தும்படிக்கு சிநேகிக்கிறதாலே, அவர் நியாயமும் நீதியும் செய்கிறதற்கு உம்மை அவர்கள்மேல் ராஜாவாக வைத்தார் என்றாள்.
9 And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones: neither was there any such spice as the queen of Sheba gave king Solomon.
௯அவள் ராஜாவுக்கு நூற்றிருபது தாலந்து பொன்னையும், மிகுதியான கந்தவர்க்கங்களையும், இரத்தினங்களையும் கொடுத்தாள்; சேபாவின் அரசி ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோனுக்குக் கொடுத்த அப்படிப்பட்ட கந்தவர்க்கங்களைப்போல ஒருபோதும் வரவில்லை.
10 And the servants also of Huram, and the servants of Solomon, which brought gold from Ophir, brought algum trees and precious stones.
௧0ஓப்பீரிலிருந்து பொன்னைக் கொண்டுவருகிற ஈராமின் வேலைக்காரர்களும் சாலொமோனின் வேலைக்காரர்களும் வாசனை மரங்களையும் இரத்தினங்களையும் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.
11 And the king made [of] the algum trees terraces to the house of the LORD, and to the king’s palace, and harps and psalteries for singers: and there were none such seen before in the land of Judah.
௧௧அந்த வாசனை மரங்களால் ராஜா யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திற்கும் ராஜ அரண்மனைக்கும் படிக்கட்டுகளையும், இசைக்கலைஞர்களுக்குச் சுரமண்டலங்களையும் தம்புருக்களையும் உண்டாக்கினான்; அப்படிப்பட்டவைகள் அதற்கு முன்னே யூதேயா தேசத்தில் ஒருக்காலும் காணப்படவில்லை.
12 And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside [that] which she had brought unto the king. So she turned, and went away to her own land, she and her servants.
௧௨சேபாவின் அரசி ராஜாவுக்குக் கொண்டுவந்தவைகளைவிட அவள் ஆசைப்பட்டுக் கேட்ட எல்லாவற்றையும் ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோன் அவளுக்கு அதிகமாகக் கொடுத்தான்; பின்பு அவள் தன் கூட்டத்தினரோடு தன் தேசத்திற்குத் திரும்பிப்போனாள்.
13 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold;
௧௩சிறிய மற்றும் பெரிய வியாபாரிகள் கொண்டுவரும் பொன்னைத்தவிர, சாலொமோனுக்கு ஒவ்வொரு வருடத்திலும் வந்த பொன் அறுநூற்று அறுபத்தாறு தாலந்து எடையுள்ளதாக இருந்தது.
14 Beside [that which] chapmen and merchants brought. And all the kings of Arabia and governors of the country brought gold and silver to Solomon.
௧௪அரபுதேசங்களின் அனைத்து ராஜாக்களும், ஆளுநர்களும் சாலொமோனுக்குப் பொன்னையும் வெள்ளியையும் கொண்டுவருவார்கள்.
15 And king Solomon made two hundred targets [of] beaten gold: six hundred [shekels] of beaten gold went to one target.
௧௫ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோன் இருநூறு கேடகங்களை அடித்த பொன்தகட்டால் செய்வித்தான்; ஒவ்வொரு கேடகத்திற்கு அறுநூறு சேக்கல் எடை பொன் தகட்டைச் செலவழித்தான்.
16 And three hundred shields [made he of] beaten gold: three hundred [shekels] of gold went to one shield. And the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.
௧௬அடித்த பொன்தகட்டால் முந்நூறு கேடகங்களையும் உண்டாக்கினான்; ஒவ்வொரு கேடகத்திற்கு முந்நூறு சேக்கல் எடை பொன்னைச் செலவழித்தான்; அவைகளை ராஜா லீபனோன் வனம் என்னும் மாளிகையிலே வைத்தான்.
17 Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.
௧௭ராஜா தந்தத்தால் ஒரு பெரிய சிங்காசனத்தையும் செய்வித்து, அதைப் பசும்பொன் தகட்டால் மூடினான்.
18 And [there were] six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, [which were] fastened to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays:
௧௮அந்தச் சிங்காசனத்திற்குப் பொன்னினால் செய்யப்பட்ட ஆறு படிகளும், ஒரு பாதப்படியும், உட்காரும் இடத்திற்கு இருபுறத்திலும் கை சாய்மானங்களும் இருந்தன; இரண்டு சிங்கங்கள் கை சாய்மானங்கள் அருகே நின்றன.
19 And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom.
௧௯அந்த ஆறு படிகளின்மேலும், இரண்டு பக்கத்திலும் பன்னிரண்டு சிங்கங்கள் நின்றன; எந்த ராஜ்ஜியத்திலும் இப்படிச் செய்யப்படவில்லை.
20 And all the drinking vessels of king Solomon [were of] gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon [were of] pure gold: none [were of] silver; it was [not] any thing accounted of in the days of Solomon.
௨0ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோனுக்கு இருந்த பானபாத்திரங்களெல்லாம் பொன்னும், லீபனோன் வனம் என்னும் மாளிகையின் பணிமுட்டுகளெல்லாம் பசும்பொன்னுமாயிருந்தது; ஒன்றும் வெள்ளியினால் செய்யப்படவில்லை; சாலொமோனின் நாட்களில் வெள்ளி ஒரு பொருட்டாகக் கருதப்படவில்லை.
21 For the king’s ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram: every three years once came the ships of Tarshish bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.
௨௧ராஜாவின் கப்பல்கள் ஈராமின் வேலைக்காரர்களுடன் தர்ஷீசுக்குப் போய்வரும்; தர்ஷீசின் கப்பல்கள் மூன்று வருடங்களுக்கு ஒருமுறை பொன்னையும், வெள்ளியையும், யானைத் தந்தங்களையும், குரங்குகளையும், மயில்களையும் கொண்டுவரும்.
22 And king Solomon passed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.
௨௨பூமியின் அனைத்து ராஜாக்களையும்விட சாலொமோன் ராஜா ஐசுவரியத்திலும் ஞானத்திலும் சிறந்தவனாயிருந்தான்.
23 And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, that God had put in his heart.
௨௩சாலொமோனின் இருதயத்திலே தேவன் அருளிய ஞானத்தைக் கேட்பதற்கு பூமியின் ராஜாக்கள் எல்லோரும் அவனுடைய முகதரிசனத்தைத் தேடினார்கள்.
24 And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and raiment, harness, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.
௨௪வருடந்தோறும் அவரவர் தங்கள் காணிக்கையாகிய வெள்ளிப்பாத்திரங்களையும், பொற்பாத்திரங்களையும், ஆடைகளையும், ஆயுதங்களையும், கந்தவர்க்கங்களையும், குதிரைகளையும், கோவேறு கழுதைகளையும் கொண்டுவருவார்கள்.
25 And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
௨௫சாலொமோனுக்கு நான்காயிரம் குதிரைலாயங்களும் இரதங்களும் இருந்தன, பனிரெண்டாயிரம் குதிரை வீரர்களும் இருந்தார்கள்; அவைகளை இரதங்கள் வைக்கும் பட்டணங்களிலும், அவர்களை எருசலேமில் தன்னிடத்திலும் ராஜா வைத்திருந்தான்.
26 And he reigned over all the kings from the river even unto the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.
௨௬நதி துவங்கிப் பெலிஸ்தரின் தேசம்வரை எகிப்தின் எல்லைவரைக்கும் இருக்கிற அனைத்து ராஜாக்களையும் அவன் ஆண்டான்.
27 And the king made silver in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that [are] in the low plains in abundance.
௨௭எருசலேமிலே ராஜா வெள்ளியைக் கற்கள்போலவும், கேதுருமரங்களைப் பள்ளத்தாக்குகளில் இருக்கும் காட்டத்தி மரங்கள்போலவும் அதிகமாக்கினான்.
28 And they brought unto Solomon horses out of Egypt, and out of all lands.
௨௮எகிப்திலும் மற்ற தேசங்களிலுமிருந்து சாலொமோனுக்குக் குதிரைகள் கொண்டுவரப்பட்டது.
29 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, [are] they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat?
௨௯சாலொமோனுடைய ஆரம்பம்முதல் கடைசிவரையுள்ள மற்ற செயல்கள் தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிய நாத்தானின் புத்தகத்திலும், சீலோனியனாகிய அகியா எழுதின தீர்க்கதரிசனத்திலும், நேபாத்தின் மகனாகிய யெரொபெயாமைக்குறித்து தரிசனம் காண்கிறவனாகிய இத்தோ எழுதின தரிசனங்களிலும் அல்லவோ எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
30 And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.
௩0சாலொமோன் எருசலேமிலே இஸ்ரவேல் முழுவதையும் நாற்பது வருடங்கள் ஆட்சிசெய்தான்.
31 And Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.
௩௧பின்பு சாலொமோன் இறந்தான்; அவனை அவன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதின் நகரத்தில் அடக்கம்செய்தார்கள்; அவனுடைய இடத்தில் அவன் மகனாகிய ரெகொபெயாம் ராஜாவானான்.
