2 Chronicles 4
1 Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.
Construyó también un altar de bronce de veinte codos de largo, veinte codos de ancho y diez codos de alto.
2 Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
Asimismo hizo el mar (de bronce) fundido, que tenía diez codos de un borde al otro. Era enteramente redondo y de cinco codos de alto. Un cordón de treinta codos le rodeaba todo en derredor.
3 And under it [was] the similitude of oxen, which did compass it round about: ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen [were] cast, when it was cast.
Debajo del borde había en toda la circunferencia figuras de bueyes, diez por cada codo, colocadas en dos órdenes que formaban con él una sola pieza de fundición.
4 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea [was set] above upon them, and all their hinder parts [were] inward.
Estaba asentado sobre doce bueyes; de los cuales tres miraban al norte, tres al occidente, tres al sur, y tres al oriente. El mar descansaba encima de ellos, y las partes traseras de todos ellos estaban hacia adentro.
5 And the thickness of it [was] an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; [and] it received and held three thousand baths.
Su espesor era de un palmo, y su borde como el borde de un cáliz, como una flor de azucena. Cabían en él tres mil batos.
6 He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea [was] for the priests to wash in.
Hizo también para los lavatorios diez pilas y colocó cinco de ellas a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda. En ellas se limpiaba lo que se ofrecía en holocausto. El mar era para las abluciones de los sacerdotes.
7 And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set [them] in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.
Hizo igualmente diez candelabros de oro, según la forma prescrita, y los colocó en el Templo, cinco a la derecha, y cinco a la izquierda.
8 He made also ten tables, and placed [them] in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. And he made an hundred basons of gold.
Y fabricó diez mesas, que puso en el Templo, cinco a la derecha, y cinco a la izquierda. Hizo igualmente cien tazas de oro.
9 Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.
Además construyó el atrio de los sacerdotes, y el atrio grande con las puertas del atrio, y revistió las puertas del mismo de bronce.
10 And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, over against the south.
EI mar lo colocó al lado derecho, al este, hacia el sur.
11 And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God;
Hizo Huram también las calderas, las paletas y las tazas. Así concluyó Huram la obra que le había encargado el rey Salomón en la Casa de Dios:
12 [To wit], the two pillars, and the pommels, and the chapiters [which were] on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which [were] on the top of the pillars;
las dos columnas, los globos y los capiteles que había arriba de las columnas; las dos mallas para cubrir los dos globos de los capiteles que coronaban las columnas,
13 And four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which [were] upon the pillars.
las cuatrocientas granadas de las dos mallas, dos filas de granadas para cada malla, para cubrir los dos globos de los capiteles que había sobre las columnas;
14 He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases;
las diez basas, y también las pilas, para (asentarlas) sobre las bazas;
15 One sea, and twelve oxen under it.
el mar con los doce bueyes debajo de él;
16 The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright brass.
las calderas, las paletas y los tenedores. Todos estos utensilios los hizo Hiram, el maestro, para el rey Salomón para la Casa de Yahvé; eran de bronce pulido.
17 In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.
El rey los hizo fundir en la llanura del Jordán, en la tierra arcillosa que hay entre Sucot y Seredá.
18 Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.
Salomón hizo todos estos utensilios en número muy grande, y nunca fue averiguado el peso del bronce.
19 And Solomon made all the vessels that [were for] the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread [was set; ]
Salomón hizo también todos los (demás) objetos de la Casa de Dios: el altar de oro, las mesas para el pan de la proposición,
20 Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;
los candelabros con sus lámparas, de oro puro, para que ardieran, según el rito, delante del Santísimo;
21 And the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, [made he of] gold, [and] that perfect gold;
las flores, las lámparas y las despabiladeras de oro, del mejor oro;
22 And the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, [of] pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy [place], and the doors of the house of the temple, [were of] gold.
y los cuchillos, las copas, las cazuelas y los incensarios, de oro puro. Eran también de oro las puertas interiores de la Casa a la entrada del Santísimo, y las puertas de la Casa del Templo.
