< 1 Timothy 6 >
1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and [his] doctrine be not blasphemed.
avakami vooni avitiki, vijisyaghe kuvavombelua vaave, kuuti ilitavua lya Nguluve ni mbulanisio siitnasingabenapulwaghe.
2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise [them], because they are brethren; but rather do [them] service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
avakami vano avavombelua vaave vitiki, valekaghe pikuvabenapula ulwakuva va kipugha kimo. ulwene vanoghile kukuvavombela, vunofu na pikila, apuo viiva vikuvatanga avajanave mulwitio, kange avuo vaghanike vaave. isio uvulanisiaghe na kupavila.
3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, [even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
kwevale avanhu vano vivulanisia imbulanisio sa vudesi. sino vivulanisia nasikwiting'hana na masio amanya vwumi agha Mmutwa ghwitu uYesu Kilisite, kange nasikwiting'hana nu vwimike.
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
avuo vamemile ulughinio, kange navakagwile kimonga. avanhu avuo vikwumilila mulukaani ulusila luvumbulilo vwimila utusio utudebe. mu uluo jihumila igiila, amabaatu, amaligho, angananio,
5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
kange jaatu ghinangania amapuling'ano. avaanhu avuo vanangiike uluhala, vasila vwakyang'ani visaagha kuuti kuvomba imbombo ija Nguluve je sila ija kukavila ikyuma.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
ulwakuuva ni kyuma luvumbulilo, neke umuunhu iiva nu luvumbulilo ulukome, pano ikumwitika uNguluve na kukwilana ni fiinu fino ali nafyo.
7 For we brought nothing into [this] world, [and it is] certain we can carry nothing out.
ulwakuuva muiisi muno natwalisile na kimonga, kange natungavuuke na kimonga,
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
looli tungave ni kyakulia ni fya kufwala tukwilanaghe nifio.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
neke vavo vali nu vunoghelua uvwa kyuma vwimila mungelo, nakughwilila munhegho na muvunoghelua uvwa kijasu vuno vukuvanangania. uluo lukuvapelela kupumuka kyongo.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
ulwakuva kukusighana kyongo indalama vwe vutengulilo vwa vuvili vwinga. vamonga vinoghilue isio vasyangilue valulekile ulwitiko, pe vali muvuvafi uvukome hwene muunhu juno ikuhoma nu mmaghe.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
looli uve ghwe muunhu ghwa Nguluve, usikimbilaghe isio. uvingililaghe uvwimike, uvwimike, ulwitiko, ulughano, ulugudo nu vuhugu.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, where unto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (aiōnios )
ghimbagha kukum'bingilila uNguluve ndavule lutalamu ndaani, neke ukolelelaghe uvwumi uvwa kuvusila kusila, vuno ghwa ghwakemelilue pala panoghwalyitike pavolesi avinga. (aiōnios )
13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and [before] Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
nikukulaghila pamaaso gha Nguluve juno ikufiviika fyumi ifinu fyoni, na pamaaso gha Yeesu Kilisite, juno alyajovile uvwolesi uvwa kyanghaani pamaaso gha Pontio Pilato,
14 That thou keep [this] commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
niiti, ugadililaghe indaghilo isio muvunofu vwoni, kuhanga pano alaava ikwisa uMutwa ghwitu uYeesu Kilisite.
15 Which in his times he shall shew, [who is] the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
kukwisa kwa mwene kulaava unsiki ghuno ataviike uNguluve juno ighinisivua, unya ngufu juno mwene, uNtwa ghwa vatwa vooni.
16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom [be] honour and power everlasting. Amen. (aiōnios )
ujuo ghwe juno uvufue navukam'bona, ikalile palumuli luno umuunhu nangaluvelelele. kange nakwale umuunhu juno amwaghile, nambe juno ndepoonu ikumwagha. uvwoghopua ni ngufu ali nafyo ifighono fyoni Ameni. (aiōnios )
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (aiōn )
vavuule avamofu valeke kukughinia, nambe kuhuviila uvumofu vwake uvwa muiisi iji, vuno vwa nsiki n'debe. looli vamhuvilaghe uNguluve juno ikutupeela iffinu fyoni muvukoola vwake, kuuti tufivombelaghe nu lukeelo. (aiōn )
18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
kange avavuule vavombaghe inofu neke vavisaghe vamofu mumbombo inofu ndavile avange vule vamofu mufiinu. vavisaghe vapeesi nakuhangilanila na vange ikyuma kyave.
19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
kuvomba imbombo inofu isio, luli ndavule kuvuta ifiinu ifya kukutanga unsiki ghuno ghukwisa, ukuo kwe kukuvikila ulwalo ulukangafu ifighono fino fikwisa, apuo pepano valupila uvwumi uvwa kyang'haani.
20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane [and] vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
timoteo, gadililagha vunofu uvyakyang'haani vuno upelilue. ulekaghe kukujingisia mumasio ghano nagha Mutwa amasila luvumbulilo na makaning'hano agha kijasu, ghano avange viiti vwe vukagusi.
21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace [be] with thee. Amen.
avaanhu avange vano vasikolile isio, valulekile ulwitiko lwave. ulusungu luvisaghe palikimo numue.
