1 Chronicles 24
1 Now [these are] the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
এগুলিই হল হারোণের বংশধরদের বিভিন্ন বিভাগ: হারোণের ছেলেরা হলেন নাদব, অবীহূ, ইলীয়াসর ও ঈথামর।
2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest’s office.
কিন্তু নাদব ও অবীহূ তাদের বাবা মারা যাওয়ার আগেই মারা গেল, এবং তাদের কোনো ছেলে ছিল না; তাই ইলীয়াসর ও ঈথামর যাজকের দায়িত্ব পালন করলেন।
3 And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.
ইলিয়াসরের এক বংশধর সাদোকের ও ঈথামরের এক বংশধর অহীমেলকের সাহায্য নিয়ে দাউদ যাজকদের নিরূপিত পরিচর্যার ক্রমানুসারে তাদের কয়েকটি বিভাগে বিভক্ত করে দিলেন।
4 And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and [thus] were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar [there were] sixteen chief men of the house of [their] fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the house of their fathers.
ঈথামরের বংশধরদের তুলনায় ইলিয়াসরের বংশধরদের মধ্যেই বেশি সংখ্যায় নেতা খুঁজে পাওয়া গেল, এবং তাদের সেভাবেই বিভক্ত করা হল: ইলিয়াসরের বংশধরদের মধ্যে থেকে ষোলো জনকে ও ঈথামরের বংশধরদের মধ্যে থেকে আট জনকে বংশের কর্তাব্যক্তি করা হল।
5 Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors [of the house] of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
গুটিকাপাত করে নিরপেক্ষভাবেই তারা তাদের বিভিন্ন বিভাগে বিভক্ত করলেন, কারণ ইলীয়াসর ও ঈথামর, দুজনেরই বংশধরদের মধ্যে থেকে অনেকে পীঠস্থানের ও ঈশ্বরের কর্মকর্তা হলেন।
6 And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, [one] of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and [before] the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and [one] taken for Ithamar.
নথনেলের ছেলে লেবীয় শাস্ত্রবিদ শময়িয় মহারাজের ও এইসব কর্মকর্তাদের উপস্থিতিতে তাদের নামগুলি নথিভুক্ত করলেন: সেই কর্মকর্তারা হলেন যাজক সাদোক, অবিয়াথরের ছেলে অহীমেলক এবং যাজকদের ও লেবীয়দের বিভিন্ন গোষ্ঠীর কয়েকজন কর্তাব্যক্তি—একবার ইলিয়াসরের বংশ থেকে একজনকে, পরে ঈথামরের বংশ থেকে অন্য একজনকে তিনি নথিভুক্ত করলেন।
7 Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,
গুটিকাপাতে প্রথম দানটি পড়েছিল যিহোয়ারীবের নামে, দ্বিতীয়টি পড়েছিল যিদয়িয়ের নামে,
8 The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
তৃতীয়টি পড়েছিল হারীমের নামে, চতুর্থটি পড়েছিল সিয়োরীমের নামে,
9 The fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
পঞ্চমটি পড়েছিল মল্কিয়ের নামে, ষষ্ঠটি পড়েছিল মিয়ামীনের নামে,
10 The seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
সপ্তমটি পড়েছিল হক্কোষের নামে, অষ্টমটি পড়েছিল অবিয়ের নামে,
11 The ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
নবমটি পড়েছিল যেশূয়ের নামে, দশমটি পড়েছিল শখনিয়ের নামে,
12 The eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
একাদশতমটি পড়েছিল ইলীয়াশীবের নামে, দ্বাদশতমটি পড়েছিল যাকীমের নামে,
13 The thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
ত্রয়োদশতমটি পড়েছিল হুপ্পের নামে, চতুর্দশতমটি পড়েছিল যেশবাবের নামে,
14 The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
পঞ্চদশতমটি পড়েছিল বিলগার নামে, ষোড়শতমটি পড়েছিল ইম্মেরের নামে,
15 The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,
সপ্তদশতমটি পড়েছিল হেষীরের নামে, অষ্টাদশতমটি পড়েছিল হপ্পিসেসের নামে,
16 The nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel,
উনবিংশতিতমটি পড়েছিল পথাহিয়ের নামে, বিংশতিতমটি পড়েছিল যিহিষ্কেলের নামে,
17 The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,
একবিংশতিতমটি পড়েছিল যাখীনের নামে, দ্বাবিংশতিতমটি পড়েছিল গামূলের নামে,
18 The three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah.
ত্রয়োবিংশতিতমটি পড়েছিল দলায়ের নামে, এবং চতুর্বিংশতিতমটি পড়েছিল মাসিয়ের নামে।
19 These [were] the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him.
ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর আদেশানুসারে তাদের পূর্বপুরুষ হারোণ তাদের জন্য যে নিয়মকানুন ঠিক করে দিলেন, তার আধারে যখন তারা সদাপ্রভুর মন্দিরে প্রবেশ করতেন তখন তারা পরিচর্যার এই ক্রমই অনুসরণ করতেন।
20 And the rest of the sons of Levi [were these: ] Of the sons of Amram; Shubael: of the sons of Shubael; Jehdeiah.
লেবির অবশিষ্ট বংশধরদের কথা: অম্রামের ছেলেদের মধ্যে থেকে: শবূয়েল; শবূয়েলের ছেলেদের মধ্যে থেকে: যেহদিয়।
21 Concerning Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, the first [was] Isshiah.
রহবিয়ের কথা, তাঁর ছেলেদের মধ্যে থেকে: প্রথমজন যিশিয়।
22 Of the Izharites; Shelomoth: of the sons of Shelomoth; Jahath.
যিষ্হরীয়দের মধ্যে থেকে: শলোমীত; শলোমীতের ছেলেদের মধ্যে থেকে: যহৎ।
23 And the sons [of Hebron; ] Jeriah [the first], Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
হিব্রোণের ছেলেরা: প্রথমজন যিরিয়, দ্বিতীয়জন অমরিয়, তৃতীয়জন যহসীয়েল ও চতুর্থজন যিকমিয়াম।
24 [Of] the sons of Uzziel; Michah: of the sons of Michah; Shamir.
উষীয়েলের ছেলেরা: মীখা; মীখার ছেলেদের মধ্যে থেকে: শামীর।
25 The brother of Michah [was] Isshiah: of the sons of Isshiah; Zechariah.
মীখার ভাই: যিশিয়; যিশিয়ের ছেলেদের মধ্যে থেকে: সখরিয়।
26 The sons of Merari [were] Mahli and Mushi: the sons of Jaaziah; Beno.
মরারির ছেলেরা: মহলি ও মূশি। যাসিয়ের ছেলে: বিনো।
27 The sons of Merari by Jaaziah; Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
মরারির ছেলেরা: যাসিয় থেকে উৎপন্ন: বিনো, শোহম, শক্কুর ও ইব্রি।
28 Of Mahli [came] Eleazar, who had no sons.
মহলি থেকে উৎপন্ন: ইলিয়াসর, যাঁর কোনও ছেলে ছিল না।
29 Concerning Kish: the son of Kish [was] Jerahmeel.
কীশ থেকে উৎপন্ন: কীশের ছেলে: যিরহমেল।
30 The sons also of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These [were] the sons of the Levites after the house of their fathers.
মূশির ছেলেরা: মহলি, এদর ও যিরেমোৎ। তাদের বংশানুসারে এরাই হলেন সেই লেবীয়েরা।
31 These likewise cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers over against their younger brethren.
তারাও তাদের আত্মীয়স্বজন তথা হারোণের বংশধরদের মতো রাজা দাউদের এবং সাদোক, অহীমেলক এবং যাজক ও লেবীয় বংশের কর্তাব্যক্তিদের উপস্থিতিতে গুটিকাপাত করলেন। বড়ো ভাইয়ের হোক কি ছোটো ভাইয়ের, প্রত্যেক বংশের প্রতিই সম-আচরণ করা হল।
