Zechariah 4
1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.
Potem Anioł, który rozmawiał ze mną, powrócił i obudził mnie, jak budzi się kogoś ze snu.
2 And said unto me, What see you? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
I zapytał mnie: Co widzisz? Odpowiedziałem: Spojrzałem, a oto świecznik cały ze złota, a na jego szczycie jest czasza, na nim siedem lamp, a [także] siedem rurek do tych siedmiu lamp, które [są] na jego szczycie;
3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
Dwa drzewa oliwne obok niego, jedno po prawej stronie czaszy, a drugie po jej lewej stronie.
4 So I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
Wtedy odezwałem się do Anioła, który rozmawiał ze mną, i zapytałem: Co to jest, mój Panie?
5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Know you not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
Anioł, który rozmawiał ze mną, odpowiedział mi: Czy nie wiesz, co to jest? Odpowiedziałem: Nie [wiem], mój Panie.
6 Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the LORD of hosts.
Wtedy odpowiedział mi: Oto słowo PANA do Zorobabela: Nie wojskiem ani siłą, ale moim Duchem, mówi PAN zastępów.
7 Who are you, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
Czymże ty jesteś, góro wielka? Wobec Zorobabela staniesz się równiną. On bowiem wyniesie główny kamień z głośnym okrzykiem: Łaska, łaska nad nim.
8 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
I doszło słowo PANA do mnie mówiące:
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me unto you.
Ręce Zorobabela położyły fundamenty tego domu, jego ręce go dokończą; a poznasz, że PAN zastępów posłał mnie do was.
10 For who has despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run back and forth through the whole earth.
Któż bowiem wzgardził dniem małych [początków]? Oni bowiem będą się radować, patrząc na pion w ręku Zorobabela i na tych siedmioro oczu PANA, które przebiegają całą ziemię.
11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
Wtedy odezwałem się i zapytałem go: Co [oznaczają te] dwa drzewa oliwne po prawej i lewej stronie tego świecznika?
12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
I ponownie odezwałem się, i zapytałem go: Co [oznaczają te] dwie gałęzie oliwne, które dwiema złotymi rurkami wypuszczają z siebie złocistą oliwę?
13 And he answered me and said, Know you not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
On zapytał: Nie wiesz, [co to jest]? Odpowiedziałem: Nie [wiem], mój Panie.
14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.
Wtedy powiedział: To są dwaj pomazańcy, którzy stoją przed Panem całej ziemi.
