< Revelation 19 >
1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
ⲁ̅ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲁⲛⲁⲓ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱϥ ϩⲛⲧⲡⲉ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲏⲗⲟⲩⲓⲁ ⲡⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲙⲛⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛⲧϭⲟⲙ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he has judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
ⲃ̅ϫⲉ ϩⲉⲛⲙⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲉⲛⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲉⲕϩⲁⲡ ϫⲉ ⲁⲕⲕⲣⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲧⲡⲟⲣⲛⲏ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲁⲥⲧⲁⲕⲉⲡⲕⲁϩ ϩⲛⲧⲉⲥⲡⲟⲣⲛⲓⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϫⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲕⲃⲁ ⲙⲡⲉⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲛⲛⲉϥϩⲙ̅ϩⲁⲗ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲛⲉⲥϭⲓϫ
3 And again they said, Alleluia And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. (aiōn )
ⲅ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲩ ⲙⲡⲙⲉϩⲥⲡⲥⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲏⲗⲟⲩⲓⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲥⲕⲁⲡⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ (aiōn )
4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
ⲇ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϫⲟⲩⲧⲁϥⲧⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲉⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲡⲁϩⲧⲟⲩ ⲙⲛⲡⲉϥⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲧϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲓⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲏⲗⲟⲩⲓⲁ
5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all you his servants, and all of you that fear him, both small and great.
ⲉ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϩⲉⲛⲥⲙⲏ ⲉⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲉϥϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲣϩⲟⲧⲉ ϩⲏⲧϥ ⲛⲕⲟⲩⲓ ⲙⲛⲛⲛⲟϭ
6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns.
ⲋ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲩⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲙⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲥⲙⲏ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲛⲟϭ ⲛϩⲣⲟⲩⲃⲃⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲏⲗⲟⲩⲓⲁ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲣⲣⲣⲟ ϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛϭⲓⲡϫ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲡⲁⲛⲧⲱⲕⲣⲁⲧⲱⲣ
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready.
ⲍ̅ⲙⲁⲣⲛⲣⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϯⲗⲏⲗ ⲛⲧⲉⲛϯⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲛϭⲓⲡⲅⲁⲙⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲧⲉϥϣⲉⲗⲉⲉⲧ ⲁⲥⲥⲟⲃⲧⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
ⲏ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϯ ⲛⲁⲥ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲥϭⲟⲟⲗⲉⲥ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲛ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲃϣ ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϥ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲡϣⲛ̅ⲥ̅ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲃ
9 And he says unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he says unto me, These are the true sayings (logos) of God.
ⲑ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⲥϩⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲓⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲧⲁϩⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲡⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⲛⲧϣⲉⲗⲉⲉⲧ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ϩⲉⲛⲙⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲉⲓϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲁⲓϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲉ
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See you do it not: I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit (pneuma) of prophecy.
ⲓ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲡⲁϩⲧ ⲙⲡⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲟⲩⲣⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲣⲁⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲛⲁϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲣϭⲱϣⲧ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲅⲡⲉⲕϣⲃⲏⲣϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲕⲕⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲛⲉⲟⲩⲛⲧⲁⲩⲧⲙⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲛⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉⲭ̅ⲣ̅ⲥ̅ ⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲧⲙⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲣⲟⲫⲩⲧⲓⲁ
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲧⲡⲉ ⲉⲥⲟⲩⲏⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲓⲥⲟⲩϩⲧⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲃϣ̅ ⲉⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲡⲉⲧⲧⲁⲗⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲙⲉ ⲉϥⲛⲁⲕⲣⲓⲛⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲓϣⲉ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏ
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲛⲉϥⲃⲁⲗ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲩⲟ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲁϩ ⲛⲕⲱϩⲧ ⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲛϭⲣⲏⲡⲉ ϩⲓϫⲛⲧⲉϥⲁⲡⲏ ⲉⲩⲛⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲣⲁⲛ ⲉϥⲥⲏϩ ⲉⲙⲛⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲓⲙⲏⲧⲉⲓ ⲛⲧⲟϥ
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word (logos) of God.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲉϥϭⲟⲟⲗⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲟⲓⲧⲉ ⲉϥϫⲏϭ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲡϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥⲥⲧⲣⲁⲧⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲉⲧϩⲛⲧⲡⲉ ⲛⲉⲩⲟⲩⲏⲏϩ ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲩⲧⲁⲗⲏⲩ ⲉϩⲉⲛϩⲧⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲃϣ ⲉⲩϭⲟⲟⲗⲉ ⲛϩⲉⲛϣⲛ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲟⲃϣ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲩⲧⲃⲃⲏⲩ
15 And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should strike the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩⲥⲏϥⲉ ⲉⲥⲧⲏⲙ ⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲣⲱϥ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲥ ⲉϥⲉⲡⲁⲧⲁⲥⲥⲉ ⲛⲉⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲙⲟⲟⲛⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲛⲟⲩϭⲉⲣⲱⲃ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲓⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁϩⲱⲙ ⲛⲧⲉϩⲣⲱⲧ ⲙⲡⲏⲣⲡ ⲛⲧⲟⲣⲅⲏ ⲙⲡϭⲱⲛⲧ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲡⲁⲛⲧⲱⲕⲣⲁⲧⲱⲣ
16 And he has on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩⲣⲁⲛ ⲉϥⲥⲏϩ ⲉϫⲙⲡⲉϥϩⲟⲓⲧⲉ ⲙⲛⲡⲉϥⲙⲏⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲣⲣⲟ ⲛⲛⲉⲣⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϫ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲉⲛϫⲓⲥⲟⲟⲩⲉ
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲕⲉⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ̅ ⲉϥⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ϩⲓϫⲙⲡⲣⲏ̅ ⲉϥⲁϣⲕⲁⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲥⲙⲏ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲉⲛϩⲁⲗⲁⲁⲧⲉ ⲉⲧϩⲏⲗ ⲛⲧⲙⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁⲙⲏⲓⲧⲛ ⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ
18 That all of you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲙ̅ ⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲛⲛⲉⲣⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲛⲛⲭⲓⲗⲓⲁⲣⲭⲟⲥ ⲙⲛⲛϫⲱⲱⲣⲉ ⲙⲛⲛⲉϩⲧⲱⲱⲣ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲧⲁⲗⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛⲛϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲙⲛⲛⲣⲙϩⲉ ⲙⲛⲛⲕⲟⲩⲓ ⲙⲛⲛⲛⲟϭ
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲉⲑⲩⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲙⲛⲛⲉϥⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲛⲡⲉϥⲥⲧⲣⲁⲧⲉⲩⲙⲁ ⲉⲁⲩⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲟⲗⲩⲙⲟⲥ ⲙⲛⲡⲉⲧⲧⲁⲗⲏⲩ ⲉⲡⲉϩⲧⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲃϣ̅ ⲙⲛⲡⲉϥⲥⲧⲣⲁⲧⲉⲩⲙⲁ
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. (Limnē Pyr )
ⲕ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥϭⲱⲡⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲑⲩⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲧⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ ⲙⲛⲡⲉⲡⲣⲟⲫⲩⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲉⲧⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ ⲙⲛⲡⲉⲛ̅ⲧⲁϥⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲉⲓⲛ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲁϥⲡⲗⲁⲛⲁ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩϫⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲥϩⲁⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲑⲩⲣⲓⲟⲛ̅ ⲙⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲛⲧⲉϥϩⲓⲕⲱⲛ ⲁⲩⲛⲟϫⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲟⲛϩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲗⲩⲙⲛⲏ ⲛⲥⲁⲧⲉ ⲉⲧϫⲉⲣⲟ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲑⲏⲛ (Limnē Pyr )
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
