< Psalms 95 >
1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
Ũkai, tũinĩre Jehova nĩ gũkena; tũkĩanĩrĩre ũcio Rwaro rwa Ihiga rwa ũhonokio witũ.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
Nĩtũũkei mbere yake tũgĩcookagia ngaatho, na tũmũinĩre nyĩmbo cia kũmũkumia.
3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
Nĩgũkorwo Jehova nĩ Mũrungu mũnene, o we Mũthamaki mũnene ũkĩrĩte ngai ciothe.
4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
Thĩ kũrĩa kũriku mũno kũrĩ guoko-inĩ gwake, o na tũcũmbĩrĩ twa irĩma no twake.
5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
Iria nĩ rĩake, nĩgũkorwo nĩwe warĩũmbire, na moko make nĩmo moombire thĩ nyũmũ.
6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
Ũkai, tũmũinamĩrĩre tũmũhooe, nĩtũturĩrie Jehova o we Mũtũũmbi ndu;
7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if all of you will hear his voice,
nĩgũkorwo nĩwe Ngai witũ, na ithuĩ tũrĩ andũ a ũrĩithio wake, rũũru rũrĩa we mwene arĩithagia. Ũmũthĩ mũngĩigua mũgambo wake,
8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
mũtikoomie ngoro cianyu ta ũrĩa mwekire mũrĩ Meriba, o na ta ũrĩa mwekire mũthenya ũrĩa mwarĩ Masa kũu werũ-inĩ,
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
kũrĩa maithe manyu maangeririe na makĩngararia, o na gũtuĩka nĩmoonete ũrĩa wothe ndaamekĩire.
10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do go astray in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
Nĩgũkorwo ndaatũũrĩte ndakarĩire rũciaro rũu mĩaka mĩrongo ĩna; ngiuga atĩrĩ, “Aya nĩ andũ arĩa ngoro ciao ciũrĩte, na nĩmagĩte kũmenya njĩra ciakwa.”
11 Unto whom I swore in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio ngĩĩhĩta ndakarĩte, ngiuga atĩrĩ, “Matirĩ hĩndĩ magaatoonya kĩhurũko-inĩ gĩakwa.”
