Psalms 94
1 O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs; O God, to whom vengeance belongs, show yourself.
上主，您是伸冤的天主，伸冤的天主，求您顯出！
2 Lift up yourself, you judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
審判大地的天主，請您起來！給驕傲人施以應得的禍災！
3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
上主，惡人洋洋得意，要到何時？歹徒沾沾自喜，要到何時？
4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
他們大言不慚，要到何時？作惡的人自誇，要到何時？
5 They break in pieces your people, O LORD, and afflict your heritage.
上主，他們蹂躪您的百姓，他們磨難您的子民，
6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
屠殺寡婦與旅客，將孤兒置於死地，
7 Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
他們還說：上主看不見，雅各伯的天主決不管。
8 Understand, all of you brutish among the people: and all of you fools, when will all of you be wise?
民間的愚昧者！您們應該知悉，糊塗的人！您們何時才能明白？
9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
裝置耳朵的，難道自己聽不著？製造眼睛的，難道自己看不到？
10 He that chastises the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teaches man knowledge, shall not he know?
訓戒萬民者，難道自己不懲治？教導人類者，難道自己無知識？
11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
上主認透人的思念，原來都是虛幻。
12 Blessed is the man whom you chasten, O LORD, and teach him out of your law;
上主那些受您教訓的人，守您法律者是有福的的人，
13 That you may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be dug for the wicked.
您叫他在患難獲享安穩，直到給惡人們掘下了陷阱。
14 For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
因為上主不拒絕自己的百姓，上主不遺棄自己的人民。
15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
原來公理必歸正義的人士，心地公正的人必追求公理。
16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
誰肯奮起替我攻打行兇的人？誰肯站起替我抵抗作惡的人？
17 Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
若不是上主扶助我，我的靈魂已歸冥所。
18 When I said, My foot slips; your mercy, O LORD, held me up.
我工在想說：我的腳步快要滑倒。上主，您就以您的仁慈來扶助我。
19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me your comforts delight my soul.
憂愁焦思雖然齊集我的心神，您的安慰卻舒暢了我的靈魂。
20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with you, which frames mischief by a law?
若有人冒充法律，製造苦惱，不義的法庭，豈能與您相好？
21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
他們殘害義人的性命，判決無辜人的流血刑。
22 But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
然而上主必定作堡壘，我的天主作我避難的磐石。
23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
祂必以他們罪過來報復他們；必要用他們的凶惡來消滅他們，上主我們的天主必要消滅他們。
