Psalms 85
1 Lord, you have been favourable unto your land: you have brought back the captivity of Jacob.
| لِإِمَامِ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ. لِبَنِي قُورَحَ. مَزْمُورٌ رَضِيتَ يَارَبُّ عَلَى أَرْضِكَ. أَرْجَعْتَ سَبْيَ يَعْقُوبَ. | ١ |
2 You have forgiven the iniquity of your people, you have covered all their sin. (Selah)
| غَفَرْتَ إِثْمَ شَعْبِكَ. سَتَرْتَ كُلَّ خَطِيَّتِهِمْ. سِلَاهْ. | ٢ |
3 You have taken away all your wrath: you have turned yourself from the fierceness of your anger.
| حَجَزْتَ كُلَّ رِجْزِكَ. رَجَعْتَ عَنْ حُمُوِّ غَضَبِكَ. | ٣ |
4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause your anger toward us to cease.
| أَرْجِعْنَا يَا إِلَهَ خَلَاصِنَا، وَٱنْفِ غَضَبَكَ عَنَّا. | ٤ |
5 Will you be angry with us for ever? will you draw out your anger to all generations?
| هَلْ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ تَسْخَطُ عَلَيْنَا؟ هَلْ تُطِيلُ غَضَبَكَ إِلَى دَوْرٍ فَدَوْرٍ؟ | ٥ |
6 Will you not revive us again: that your people may rejoice in you?
| أَلَا تَعُودُ أَنْتَ فَتُحْيِينَا، فَيَفْرَحُ بِكَ شَعْبُكَ؟ | ٦ |
7 Show us your mercy, O LORD, and grant us your salvation.
| أَرِنَا يَارَبُّ رَحْمَتَكَ، وَأَعْطِنَا خَلَاصَكَ. | ٧ |
8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not return to folly.
| إِنِّي أَسْمَعُ مَا يَتَكَلَّمُ بِهِ ٱللهُ ٱلرَّبُّ، لِأَنَّهُ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِٱلسَّلَامِ لِشَعْبِهِ وَلِأَتْقِيَائِهِ، فَلَا يَرْجِعُنَّ إِلَى ٱلْحَمَاقَةِ. | ٨ |
9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
| لِأَنَّ خَلَاصَهُ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ خَائِفِيهِ، لِيَسْكُنَ ٱلْمَجْدُ فِي أَرْضِنَا. | ٩ |
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
| ٱلرَّحْمَةُ وَٱلْحَقُّ ٱلْتَقَيَا. ٱلْبِرُّ وَٱلسَّلَامُ تَلَاثَمَا. | ١٠ |
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
| ٱلْحَقُّ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ يَنْبُتُ، وَٱلْبِرُّ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاءِ يَطَّلِعُ. | ١١ |
12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
| أَيْضًا ٱلرَّبُّ يُعْطِي ٱلْخَيْرَ، وَأَرْضُنَا تُعْطِي غَلَّتَهَا. | ١٢ |
13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.
| ٱلْبِرُّ قُدَّامَهُ يَسْلُكُ، وَيَطَأُ فِي طَرِيقِ خَطَوَاتِهِ. | ١٣ |
