Psalms 83
1 Keep not you silence, O God: hold not your peace, and be not still, O God.
ആസാഫിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം; ഒരു ഗീതം. ദൈവമേ, മൗനമായിരിക്കരുതേ; ദൈവമേ, അവിടന്ന് ചെവി അടച്ചും നിഷ്ക്രിയനായും ഇരിക്കരുതേ.
2 For, lo, your enemies make a tumult: and they that hate you have lifted up the head.
ഇതാ! അങ്ങയുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ ഗർജിക്കുന്നു, അങ്ങയെ വെറുക്കുന്നവർ തല ഉയർത്തുന്നു.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against your people, and consulted against your hidden ones.
അങ്ങയുടെ ജനത്തിനെതിരേ അവർ കുടിലതന്ത്രങ്ങൾ മെനയുന്നു; അങ്ങയുടെ പരിലാളനയിലിരിക്കുന്നവർക്കെതിരേ ഗൂഢാലോചന നടത്തുന്നു.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
“വരിക,” അവർ പറയുന്നു, “അവർ ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രമായിരിക്കാതവണ്ണം നമുക്കവരെ തുടച്ചുനീക്കാം, ഇസ്രായേൽ എന്ന പേര് ഇനി ഒരിക്കലും ഓർക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.”
5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against you:
അവർ ഏകമനസ്സോടെ ഗൂഢാലോചന നടത്തുന്നു; അവർ അവിടത്തേക്കെതിരായി ഒരു സഖ്യം രൂപപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു—
6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
ഏദോമ്യരുടെയും യിശ്മായേല്യരുടെയും മോവാബ്യരുടെയും ഹഗര്യരുടെയും കൂടാരങ്ങളും,
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
ഗിബാൽ, അമ്മോൻ, അമാലേക്ക്, സോർ നിവാസികളോടുകൂടെ ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശവും
8 Assur also is joined with them: they have helped the children of Lot. (Selah)
അശ്ശൂരും അവരോടൊപ്പംചേർന്ന് ലോത്തിന്റെ പിൻതലമുറയ്ക്ക് ശക്തിനൽകുന്നു. (സേലാ)
9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
അങ്ങ് മിദ്യാന്യരോട് ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവരോടും ചെയ്യണമേ, കീശോൻ നദിക്കരികെവെച്ച് സീസെരയോടും യാബീനോടും അങ്ങു പ്രവർത്തിച്ചതുപോലെതന്നെ,
10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.
അവർ എൻ-ദോരിൽവെച്ച് തകർന്നടിഞ്ഞ് മണ്ണിനു വളമായിത്തീർന്നു.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
അവരിൽ ശക്തരായവരെ ഓരേബ്, സേബ് എന്നിവരെപ്പോലെയും അവരിലെ പ്രഭുക്കളെ സേബഹ്, സൽമുന്ന എന്നിവരെപ്പോലെയും ആക്കണമേ.
12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
“ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മേച്ചിൽപ്പുറങ്ങളെ നമുക്കു കൈവശമാക്കാം,” എന്ന് അവർ പറഞ്ഞല്ലോ.
13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, അവരെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റിലെ പൊടിപോലെയും കാറ്റിൽ പറക്കുന്ന പതിരുപോലെയും ആക്കണമേ.
14 As the fire burns a wood, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire;
വനത്തെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അഗ്നിപോലെയോ പർവതങ്ങളെ ജ്വലിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ജ്വാലപോലെയോ
15 So persecute them with your tempest, and make them afraid with your storm.
അവിടത്തെ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റ് അവരെ പിൻതുടരുകയും അവിടത്തെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റിനാൽ അവരെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യണമേ.
16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek your name, O LORD.
യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ നാമം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നതിന് അവരുടെ മുഖം ലജ്ജയാൽ മൂടണമേ.
17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
അവർ എന്നേക്കും ലജ്ജിതരാകുകയും ഭ്രമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ. അവർ അപമാനഭാരത്താൽ നശിക്കട്ടെ.
18 That men may know that you, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, are the most high over all the earth.
സർവഭൂമിക്കും അത്യുന്നതനായവൻ അവിടന്നുമാത്രമാണ് എന്നും അവിടത്തെ നാമം യഹോവ എന്ന് ആകുന്നു എന്നും അവർ അറിയട്ടെ.
