Psalms 32

1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

Inmensamente feliz es aquel A quien es perdonada su transgresión Y cubierto su pecado.

2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputes not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

Inmensamente feliz es el hombre A quien Yavé no atribuye iniquidad, Y en el espíritu del cual no hay engaño.

3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

Mientras callé, se consumieron mis huesos En mi gemir todo el día.

4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. (Selah)

Porque de día y de noche pesó sobre mí tu mano. Hasta que mi vigor se convirtió En sequedades de verano. (Selah)

5 I acknowledge my sin unto you, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. (Selah)

Mi pecado confesé y no encubrí mi iniquidad. Dije: Confesaré mis transgresiones a Yavé, Y Tú perdonaste la culpa de mi pecado. (Selah)

6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto you in a time when you may be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

Por esto todo santo ora a Ti En un tiempo cuando puedes ser hallado. Ciertamente en la inundación de muchas aguas, Éstas no llegarán a él.

7 You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall compass me about with songs of deliverance. (Selah)

Tú eres mi Refugio. Me guardas de la angustia. Me rodeas con cantos de liberación. (Selah)

8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with mine eye.

Te haré entender Y te enseñaré el camino en el cual debes andar. Sobre Ti fijaré mis ojos y te aconsejaré.

9 Be all of you not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto you.

No sean como el caballo o la mula, Sin entendimiento, Cuya boca debe ser frenada con freno y rienda Para que se acerquen a Ti.

10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusts in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

Muchos dolores hay para el impío, Pero al que confía en Yavé Lo rodea la misericordia.

11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, all of you righteous: and shout for joy, all you that are upright in heart.

¡Alégrense, oh justos, en Yavé, y regocíjense! ¡Canten con júbilo todos los rectos de corazón!
