< Psalms 130 >
1 Out of the depths have I cried unto you, O LORD.
Ko e Hiva ʻae ʻalu hake. ʻE Sihova, naʻaku tangi kiate koe mei he ngaahi moana.
2 Lord, hear my voice: let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
ʻE ʻEiki, ke ke ongoʻi hoku leʻo: fakatokangaʻi ho fofonga ki he leʻo ʻo ʻeku ngaahi lotu tāumaʻu.
3 If you, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
Kapau te ke fakaʻilonga, ʻE Sihova, ʻae ngaahi hia, ʻE ʻEiki, ko hai ʻe faʻa tuʻu?
4 But there is forgiveness with you, that you may be feared.
Ka ʻoku ʻiate koe ʻae fakamolemole, koeʻuhi ke manavahē ai kiate koe.
5 I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, and in his word do I hope.
ʻOku ou tatali kia Sihova, ʻoku tatali ʻa hoku laumālie, pea ʻoku ou ʻamanaki lelei ki heʻene folofola.
6 My soul waits for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
ʻOku tatali ʻa hoku laumālie kia Sihova ʻo lahi hake ʻiate kinautolu ʻoku nau leʻo ki he pongipongi: ʻoku ou pehē, ʻo lahi hake ʻiate kinautolu ʻoku nau leʻo ki he pongipongi.
7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is abundant redemption.
Ke ʻamanaki ʻa ʻIsileli kia Sihova: he ʻoku ʻia Sihova ʻae ʻaloʻofa, pea ʻoku ʻiate ia ʻae huhuʻi lahi.
8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
Pea te ne huhuʻi ʻa ʻIsileli mei heʻene ngaahi hia kotoa pē.
