Psalms 130

1 Out of the depths have I cried unto you, O LORD.

Cantique graduel. Du fond des abîmes je t'implore, Éternel!

2 Lord, hear my voice: let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

Seigneur, entends ma voix! Que ton oreille soit attentive à ma prière!

3 If you, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

Si tu gardes la mémoire des transgressions, Éternel, Seigneur, qui est-ce qui subsistera?

4 But there is forgiveness with you, that you may be feared.

Mais non, le pardon est par devers toi, afin qu'on te craigne.

5 I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, and in his word do I hope.

J'espère dans l'Éternel, mon âme espère, et je compte sur sa promesse.

6 My soul waits for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

Mon âme attend l'Éternel, plus que la sentinelle n'attend le matin, que la sentinelle n'attend le matin.

7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is abundant redemption.

Israël, espère dans l'Éternel! car la miséricorde est par devers l'Éternel, et Il a par devers lui un trésor de rédemption.

8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

Et Il rachètera Israël de toutes ses transgressions.
