Psalms 128

1 Blessed is every one that fears the LORD; that walks in his ways.

Lyksalig hver den, som frygter Herren, som gaar paa hans Veje!

2 For you shall eat the labour of your hands: happy shall you be, and it shall be well with you.

Thi du skal æde Frugten af dine Hænders Arbejde; lyksalig er du, og det gaar dig vel.

3 Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of your house: your children like olive plants round about your table.

Din Hustru er som et frugtbart Vintræ paa Siderne af dit Hus, dine Børn som Oliekviste omkring dit Bord.

4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that fears the LORD.

Se, saaledes skal den Mand velsignes, som frygter Herren.

5 The LORD shall bless you out of Zion: and you shall see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.

Herren skal velsigne dig fra Zion, og du skal se Jerusalems Lykke alle dit Livs Dage.

6 Yea, you shall see your children's children, and peace upon Israel.

Og du skal se Børn af dine Børn! Fred være over Israel!
