Psalms 109
1 Hold not your peace, O God of my praise;
१प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये दाऊद का भजन हे परमेश्वर तू, जिसकी मैं स्तुति करता हूँ, चुप न रह!
2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
२क्योंकि दुष्ट और कपटी मनुष्यों ने मेरे विरुद्ध मुँह खोला है, वे मेरे विषय में झूठ बोलते हैं।
3 They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
३उन्होंने बैर के वचनों से मुझे चारों ओर घेर लिया है, और व्यर्थ मुझसे लड़ते हैं।
4 For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.
४मेरे प्रेम के बदले में वे मेरी चुगली करते हैं, परन्तु मैं तो प्रार्थना में लौलीन रहता हूँ।
5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
५उन्होंने भलाई के बदले में मुझसे बुराई की और मेरे प्रेम के बदले मुझसे बैर किया है।
6 Set you a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
६तू उसको किसी दुष्ट के अधिकार में रख, और कोई विरोधी उसकी दाहिनी ओर खड़ा रहे।
7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
७जब उसका न्याय किया जाए, तब वह दोषी निकले, और उसकी प्रार्थना पाप गिनी जाए!
8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
८उसके दिन थोड़े हों, और उसके पद को दूसरा ले!
9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
९उसके बच्चे अनाथ हो जाएँ, और उसकी स्त्री विधवा हो जाए!
10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
१०और उसके बच्चे मारे-मारे फिरें, और भीख माँगा करे; उनको अपने उजड़े हुए घर से दूर जाकर टुकड़े माँगना पड़े!
11 Let the extortionist catch all that he has; and let the strangers spoil his labour.
११महाजन फंदा लगाकर, उसका सर्वस्व ले ले; और परदेशी उसकी कमाई को लूट लें!
12 Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.
१२कोई न हो जो उस पर करुणा करता रहे, और उसके अनाथ बालकों पर कोई तरस न खाए!
13 Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
१३उसका वंश नाश हो जाए, दूसरी पीढ़ी में उसका नाम मिट जाए!
14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
१४उसके पितरों का अधर्म यहोवा को स्मरण रहे, और उसकी माता का पाप न मिटे!
15 Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
१५वह निरन्तर यहोवा के सम्मुख रहे, वह उनका नाम पृथ्वी पर से मिटे!
16 Because that he remembered not to show mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
१६क्योंकि वह दुष्ट, करुणा करना भूल गया वरन् दीन और दरिद्र को सताता था और मार डालने की इच्छा से खेदित मनवालों के पीछे पड़ा रहता था।
17 As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.
१७वह श्राप देने से प्रीति रखता था, और श्राप उस पर आ पड़ा; वह आशीर्वाद देने से प्रसन्न न होता था, इसलिए आशीर्वाद उससे दूर रहा।
18 As he clothed himself with cursing like with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.
१८वह श्राप देना वस्त्र के समान पहनता था, और वह उसके पेट में जल के समान और उसकी हड्डियों में तेल के समान समा गया।
19 Let it be unto him as the garment which covers him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.
१९वह उसके लिये ओढ़ने का काम दे, और फेंटे के समान उसकी कमर में नित्य कसा रहे।
20 Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
२०यहोवा की ओर से मेरे विरोधियों को, और मेरे विरुद्ध बुरा कहनेवालों को यही बदला मिले!
21 But do you for me, O GOD the Lord, for your name's sake: because your mercy is good, deliver you me.
२१परन्तु हे यहोवा प्रभु, तू अपने नाम के निमित्त मुझसे बर्ताव कर; तेरी करुणा तो बड़ी है, इसलिए तू मुझे छुटकारा दे!
22 For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
२२क्योंकि मैं दीन और दरिद्र हूँ, और मेरा हृदय घायल हुआ है।
23 I am gone like the shadow when it declines: I am tossed up and down as the locust.
२३मैं ढलती हुई छाया के समान जाता रहा हूँ; मैं टिड्डी के समान उड़ा दिया गया हूँ।
24 My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh fails of fatness.
२४उपवास करते-करते मेरे घुटने निर्बल हो गए; और मुझ में चर्बी न रहने से मैं सूख गया हूँ।
25 I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shook their heads.
२५मेरी तो उन लोगों से नामधराई होती है; जब वे मुझे देखते, तब सिर हिलाते हैं।
26 Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to your mercy:
२६हे मेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा, मेरी सहायता कर! अपनी करुणा के अनुसार मेरा उद्धार कर!
27 That they may know that this is your hand; that you, LORD, have done it.
२७जिससे वे जाने कि यह तेरा काम है, और हे यहोवा, तूने ही यह किया है!
28 Let them curse, but bless you: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let your servant rejoice.
२८वे मुझे कोसते तो रहें, परन्तु तू आशीष दे! वे तो उठते ही लज्जित हों, परन्तु तेरा दास आनन्दित हो!
29 Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
२९मेरे विरोधियों को अनादररूपी वस्त्र पहनाया जाए, और वे अपनी लज्जा को कम्बल के समान ओढ़ें!
30 I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
३०मैं यहोवा का बहुत धन्यवाद करूँगा, और बहुत लोगों के बीच में उसकी स्तुति करूँगा।
31 For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.
३१क्योंकि वह दरिद्र की दाहिनी ओर खड़ा रहेगा, कि उसको प्राणदण्ड देनेवालों से बचाए।
