Psalms 106
1 Praise all of you the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.
१परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा. परमेश्वर चांगला आहे म्हणून त्यास धन्यवाद द्या. कारण त्याची कराराची विश्वसनीयता सर्वकाळ टिकून राहते.
2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can show forth all his praise?
२परमेश्वराच्या पराक्रमाची कृत्ये कोण कथन करू शकेल? किंवा त्याची सर्व स्तुत्य कृत्ये कोण पूर्ण जाहीर करील?
3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that does righteousness at all times.
३जे काही योग्य आहे ते करतात आणि ज्याची कृत्ये न्याय्य आहेत ते आशीर्वादित आहेत.
4 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that you bear unto your people: O visit me with your salvation;
४हे परमेश्वरा, तू जेव्हा आपल्या लोकांवर कृपा दाखवतोस तेव्हा माझी आठवण कर; तू त्यांना जेव्हा तारशील मला मदत कर.
5 That I may see the good of your chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance.
५मग मी तुझ्या निवडलेल्यांचा उत्कर्ष पाहिन, परमेश्वरा, तुझ्या राष्ट्रांच्या आनंदाने मी हर्ष करीन, आणि तुझ्या वतनाबरोबर उत्सव करीन.
6 We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
६आम्ही आमच्या पूर्वजांसारखेच पाप केले; आम्ही चूक केली आणि आम्ही दुष्कृत्ये केली.
7 Our fathers understood not your wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of your mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
७आमच्या वडिलांनी मिसर देशात तुझ्या आश्चर्यकारक कृत्याचे महत्व ओळखले नाही; त्यांनी तुझ्या कराराच्या विश्वसनीयतेच्या कृत्यांकडे दुर्लक्ष केले; तर समुद्राजवळ, लाल समुद्राजवळ त्यांनी बंडखोरी केली.
8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
८तरीसुद्धा, आपल्या नावाकरिता त्याने त्यांचे तारण केले, यासाठी की, त्याने आपले सामर्थ्य उघड करावे.
9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
९त्याने लाल समुद्राला धमकावले आणि तो कोरडा झाला. मग त्याने त्यांना मैदानातून चालावे तसे खोल पाण्याच्या जागेतून नेले.
10 And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
१०त्यांचा द्वेष करणाऱ्याच्या हातातून त्याने त्यास वाचवले, आणि त्यांना त्यांच्या शत्रूंच्या शक्तीपासून सोडवले.
11 And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
११परंतु त्यांच्या शत्रूंना पाण्याने झाकून टाकले. त्यापैकी एकही जण वाचला नाही.
12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
१२नंतर त्यांनी त्याच्या वचनावर विश्वास ठेवला आणि त्यांनी त्याची स्तुती गाइली.
13 They soon forgotten about his works; they waited not for his counsel:
१३परंतु ते लवकरच त्याने जे केले ते विसरले; त्यांनी त्याच्या सूचनेची वाट पाहिली नाही.
14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
१४रानात त्यांची अतृप्त हाव अनावर झाली, आणि त्यांनी देवाला आव्हान दिले.
15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
१५त्याने त्यांना त्यांच्या विनंतीप्रमाणे दिले, पण त्याने रोग पाठवला तो त्यांचे शरीर नष्ट करू लागला.
16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.
१६त्यांनी छावणीत मोशे आणि परमेश्वराचा पवित्र याजक अहरोन यास चिडीस आणले.
17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram.
१७जमीन दुभंगली आणि तिने दाथानाला गिळून टाकले, आणि अबीरामाच्या अनुयांना झाकून टाकले.
18 And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
१८त्यांच्यात अग्नीने पेट घेतला; अग्नीने त्या दुष्टांना खाऊन टाकले.
19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
१९त्यांनी होरेबात सोन्याचे वासरू केले. आणि त्यांनी त्या ओतीव मूर्तीची पूजा केली.
20 Thus they changed their glory into the embodiment of an ox that eats grass.
२०त्यांनी गवत खाणाऱ्या बैलाच्या मूर्तीसाठी आपल्या वैभवी देवाची अदलाबदल केली.
21 They forgotten about God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
२१ते आपल्या तारणाऱ्या देवाला विसरले, ज्याने मिसरात महान कृत्ये केली होती.
22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.
२२त्याने हामाच्या देशात आश्चर्यकारक गोष्टी केल्या आणि लाल समुद्राजवळ पराक्रमी कृत्ये केली.
23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
२३म्हणून तो म्हणाला, आपण त्यांचा नाश करू. जर त्याचा निवडलेला मोशे त्यास क्रोध त्यांचा नाश करण्यापासून मागे फिरायला, त्याच्यापुढे खिंडारात उभा राहिला नसता तर त्याने तसे केले असते.
24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
२४नंतर त्यानीं फलदायी देश तुच्छ मानला; त्यांनी त्याच्या वचनावर विश्वास ठेवला नाही,
25 But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
२५पण आपल्या तंबूत त्यांनी कुरकुर केली, आणि परमेश्वराचा शब्द मानिला नाही.
26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
२६म्हणून त्याने त्यांच्याविषयी शपथ वाहिली की, मी त्यांना रानात मरू देईन.
27 To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
२७त्यांचे वंशज राष्ट्रामध्ये विखरीन, आणि त्यांना परक्या राष्ट्रांमध्ये विखरवून टाकीन.
28 They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
२८त्यांनी बआल-पौराची पूजा केली, आणि मरण पावलेल्यांना अर्पण केलेले बली त्यांनी खाल्ले.
29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
२९त्यांनी त्यांच्या कृतीने त्यास कोपविले, आणि त्यांच्यात मरी पसरली.
30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.
३०पण फिनहास मध्यस्थी उठला; आणि मरी बंद झाली.
31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.
३१हे त्यास नितीमत्व असे सर्व पिढ्यानपिढ्या सर्वकाळ गणण्यात आले.
32 They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
३२त्यांनी मरीबा येथील जलाजवळही त्यास संताप आणला, आणि त्यांमुळे मोशेला दुःख सोसावे लागले.
33 Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spoke without due consideration with his lips.
३३त्यांनी त्याच्यात कडवटपणा आणला, आणि तो अविचाराने बोलला.
34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:
३४परमेश्वराने त्यांना आज्ञा दिल्याप्रमाणे त्यांनी राष्ट्रांचा नाश केला नाही.
35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
३५पण ते अन्यजाती लोकांच्या राष्ट्रात मिसळले, व त्यांचे मार्ग शिकले.
36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
३६आणि त्यांच्या मूर्तींची पूजा केली, ते त्यांच्यासाठी सापळा बनले.
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
३७त्यांनी आपली मुले आणि मुली यांचा भुतांना यज्ञ केला.
38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
३८त्यांनी निरपराध्यांचे रक्त पाडले, त्यांनी आपली मुले आणि मुली, ज्यांचा यज्ञ त्यांनी कनानाच्या मूर्तीस केला, त्यांचे रक्त पाडले आणि भूमी रक्ताने विटाळली गेली.
39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
३९ते आपल्या कृत्यांनी अशुद्ध झाले, आणि आपल्या कृतींत अनाचारी बनले.
40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
४०त्यामुळे परमेश्वर त्याच्या लोकांवर रागावला, त्यास आपल्या स्वतःच्या वतनाचा वीट आला.
41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
४१त्याने त्यांना राष्ट्रांच्या हाती दिले, आणि ज्यांनी त्यांचा द्वेष केला त्यांनी त्यांच्यावर राज्य केले.
42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
४२त्यांच्या शत्रूंनी त्यांना पीडीले, आणि ते त्यांच्या अधिकाराखाली ते अधीन झाले.
43 Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.
४३अनेक वेळा तो त्यांना मदत करण्यास आला, पण ते त्याच्याविरुध्द बंड करीत राहीले, आणि ते आपल्या पापाने नीच करण्यात आले.
44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
४४तथापि त्याने त्यांची मदतीसाठीची आरोळी ऐकली, तेव्हा त्याने त्यांच्या क्लेशाकडे लक्ष दिले.
45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
४५त्यांच्यासाठी त्याने आपल्या कराराची आठवण केली, आणि आपल्या अपार दयेने सौम्यता धारण केली.
46 He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.
४६त्याने त्यांचा पाडाव करणाऱ्या सर्वांच्या मनात त्यांच्यावर दया येईल असे केले.
47 Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto your holy name, and to triumph in your praise.
४७हे परमेश्वरा, आमच्या देवा, आम्हास तार. आम्हास राष्ट्रातून काढून एकत्र गोळा कर; म्हणजे आम्ही तुझ्या पवित्र नावाचे आभार मानू आणि तुझे गुणगान करू.
48 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise all of you the LORD.
४८इस्राएलाचा देव, माझा परमेश्वर, ह्याचा अनादिकालापासून अनंतकालापर्यंत धन्यवाद होवो. सर्व लोकांनी म्हणावे, “आमेन.” परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा.
