Psalms 106
1 Praise all of you the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.
১প্রশংসা কর সদাপ্রভুুর, ধন্যবাদ দাও সদাপ্রভুুকে, কারণ তিনি মঙ্গলময়, তাঁর বিশ্বস্ততার নিয়ম অনন্তকালস্থায়ী।
2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can show forth all his praise?
২কে সদাপ্রভুুর বিক্রমের কাজ সব গণনা করতে পারে? কে তাঁর সব প্রশংসনীয় কাজ প্রচার করতে পারে?
3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that does righteousness at all times.
৩ধন্য তারা, যারা ন্যায় রক্ষা করে এবং যারা সব দিন যথাযথ কাজ করে।
4 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that you bear unto your people: O visit me with your salvation;
৪সদাপ্রভুু, যখন তোমার লোকেদের ওপর অনুগ্রহ দেখাও তখন আমাকে মনে রেখো; আমাকে সাহায্য কর যখন তাদের রক্ষা কর।
5 That I may see the good of your chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance.
৫তখন আমি তোমার মনোনীতদের মঙ্গল দেখবো, যেন তোমার জাতির আনন্দে আনন্দ করি এবং তোমার অধিকারের সঙ্গে গৌরব করি।
6 We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
৬আমরা পাপ করেছি আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের মতো, আমরা অন্যায় করেছি এবং অধর্ম্ম করেছি।
7 Our fathers understood not your wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of your mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
৭আমাদের মিশরে তোমার পূর্বপুরুষরা আশ্চর্য্য কাজ সব বোঝেনি; তারা তোমার কাজের বিশ্বস্ত বিধি অগ্রাহ্য করল তারা সমুদ্রতীরে, লোহিত সাগরে, তারা বিদ্রোহ করল।
8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
৮তবুও তিনি তাঁর নামের জন্য তাদেরকে পরিত্রান দিলেন, তাতে তিনি তাঁর শক্তি প্রকাশ করলেন।
9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
৯তিনি লোহিত সাগরকে ধমক দিলেন এবং তা শুকিয়ে গেল, তারপর তিনি তাদেরকে গভীরের মধ্য দিয়ে নিয়ে গেলেন যেমন প্রান্তর দিয়ে যায়।
10 And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
১০তিনি যারা তাদেরকে কারণ করে তাদের হাত থেকে তাদেরকে বাঁচালেন এবং শত্রুর শক্তি থেকে তাদেরকে উদ্ধার করলেন;
11 And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
১১কিন্তু জল তাদের বিপক্ষদের ঢেকে দিল, তাদের একজনও বাঁচল না।
12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
১২তারপর তারা তাঁর বাক্যে বিশ্বাস করল এবং তাঁর প্রশংসা গান করল।
13 They soon forgotten about his works; they waited not for his counsel:
১৩কিন্তু তারা তাড়াতাড়ি ভুলে গেল তিনি যা করেছিলেন; তারা তাঁর নির্দেশের অপেক্ষা করলো না।
14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
১৪কিন্তু প্রান্তরে অত্যন্ত লোভ করল এবং মরুপ্রান্তে ঈশ্বরের পরীক্ষা করল।
15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
১৫তিনি তাদের অনুরোধ রক্ষা করলেন কিন্তু রোগ পাঠালেন যা তাদের শরীরে ঢুকল।
16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.
১৬তারা শিবিরের মধ্যে মোশি এবং হারোণ সদাপ্রভুুর পবিত্র যাজকের ওপর বিরক্ত হল।
17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram.
১৭ভূমি ফাটল এবং দাথনকে গিলে নিলো, অবীরামের অনুগামীদের ঢেকে দিলো।
18 And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
১৮তাদের মধ্যে আগুন জ্বলে উঠল; আগুনের শিখা দুষ্টদের পুড়িয়ে দিলো।
19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
১৯তারা হোরেবে এক গরুর বাচ্চা তৈরী করল, ধাতুর তৈরী মূর্তির কাছে আরাধনা করল।
20 Thus they changed their glory into the embodiment of an ox that eats grass.
২০তারা ঈশ্বরের মহিমায় ব্যবসা করল ঘাস খাওয়া গরুর মূর্ত্তি নিয়ে।
21 They forgotten about God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
২১তারা তাদের ত্রাণকর্ত্তা ঈশ্বরকে ভুলে গেল, যিনি মিশরে মহৎ কাজ করেছিলেন;
22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.
২২তিনি হামের দেশে নানা আশ্চর্য্য কাজ করলেন এবং লোহিত সাগরের ধারে নানা ভয়ঙ্কর কাজ করলেন।
23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
২৩তিনি তাদের ধ্বংসের জন্য আদেশ জারি করলেন তার মনোনীত মোশি তাঁর সামনে ভঙ্গ জায়গায় দাঁড়ালেন তাঁর রাগ দূর করার জন্য যাতে তিনি তাদেরকে ধ্বংস না করেন।
24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
২৪তারপর তারা উর্বর দেশকে তুচ্ছ করল, তারা তাঁর প্রতিশ্রুতি বিশ্বাস করল না;
25 But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
২৫কিন্তু তাঁবুর মধ্যে অভিযোগ করল এবং সদাপ্রভুুকে মান্য করল না।
26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
২৬তাই তিনি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে শপথ করলেন যে তারা মরূপ্রান্তরে মারা যাক।
27 To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
২৭আমি তাদের বংশকে জাতিদের মধ্য থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করবো এবং তাদেরকে অন্য দেশে ছিন্নভিন্ন করব।
28 They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
২৮তাঁরা বাল-পিয়োরের আরাধনা করল এবং মড়াদের বলি খেলো।
29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
২৯তারা তাদের কাজের দ্বারা তাঁকে অসন্তুষ্ট করল এবং তাদের মধ্যে মহামারী দেখা দিল।
30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.
৩০তখন পিনহস দাঁড়িয়ে হস্তক্ষেপ করলেন এবং তাতে মহামারী প্রশমিত হল।
31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.
৩১এটা তাঁর পক্ষে ধার্ম্মিকতা বলে গণ্য হল সব প্রজন্ম চিরকালের জন্য।
32 They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
৩২তারা মরীবার জলসমীপেও ঈশ্বরের রাগ জন্মাল এবং তাদের জন্য মোশির কষ্টহল
33 Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spoke without due consideration with his lips.
৩৩তারা তাঁকে তিক্ত করল এবং তিনি বেপরোয়াভাবে বললেন।
34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:
৩৪তারা জাতিদেরকে ধ্বংস করল না, যেমন সদাপ্রভুু করতে আদেশ দিয়েছিলেন।
35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
৩৫কিন্তু তারা পাগান জাতিদের সঙ্গে মিশে গেল এবং তাদের শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করল;
36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
৩৬এবং তাদের প্রতিমার আরাধনা করল, তাতে সে সব তাদের ফাঁদ হয়ে উঠল।
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
৩৭তারা তাদের ছেলেদের এবং মেয়েদেরকে ভূতদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলিদান করল।
38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
৩৮তারা নির্দ্দোষদের রক্তপাত করল, তাদের ছেলে এবং মেয়েদের রক্তপাত করল, তারা কনানীয় প্রতিমাদের উদ্দেশ্যে তাদেরকে বলিদান করল; দেশ রক্তে অপবিত্র করলো।
39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
৩৯তারা তাদের কাজের দ্বারা কলুষিত হল এবং ব্যভিচারী হলো তাদের কাজের জন্য।
40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
৪০তাই সদাপ্রভুু তাঁর লোকেদের ওপর রেগে গেলেন এবং তিনি তাঁর লোকেদেরকে ঘৃণা করলেন।
41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
৪১তিনি তাদেরকে জাতিদের হাতে তুলে দিলেন এবং যারা তাদের কারণ করত তারা তাদের ওপরে কর্তৃত্ব করল।
42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
৪২তাদের শত্রুরা তাদের পদদলিত করল এবং তারা তাদের কর্তৃত্বের কাছে পরাধীন হল।
43 Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.
৪৩অনেক বার তিনি তাদেরকে সাহায্য করতে এলেন কিন্তু তারা বিদ্রোহী হল এবং নিজেদের পাপে দুর্বল হয়ে পড়ল।
44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
৪৪তবুও তিনি যখন তাদের বেদনার কথা শুনলেন, তখন সাহায্যের জন্য তাদের কান্না শুনলেন।
45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
৪৫তিনি মনে করলেন তাদের সঙ্গে তার নিয়মের কথা এবং নরম হলেন কারণ তাঁর বিশ্বস্ততার বিধি।
46 He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.
৪৬তিনি তাদের বিজেতাদের তিনি করুণা করলেন।
47 Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto your holy name, and to triumph in your praise.
৪৭আমাদের রক্ষা কর, সদাপ্রভুু, আমাদের ঈশ্বর, জাতিদের মধ্য থেকে আমাদেরকে সংগ্রহ কর; যেন আমরা তোমার পবিত্র নামের স্তব করি এবং তোমার প্রশংসায় জয়ধ্বনি করি।
48 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise all of you the LORD.
৪৮ধন্য সদাপ্রভুু, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর, অনাদিকাল অবধি অনন্তকাল পর্যন্ত। সব লোক বলুক, আমেন। সদাপ্রভুুর প্রশংসা কর।
