Psalms 104
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, you are very great; you are clothed with honour and majesty.
૧હે મારા આત્મા, યહોવાહને સ્તુત્ય માન. હે યહોવાહ મારા ઈશ્વર, તમે અતિ મહાન છો; તમે વૈભવ તથા ગૌરવ ધારણ કર્યાં છે.
2 Who cover yourself with light as with a garment: who stretch out the heavens like a curtain:
૨તમે વસ્ત્રની જેમ અજવાળું પહેર્યું છે; પડદાની જેમ તમે આકાશને વિસ્તારો છો.
3 Who lays the beams of his chambers in the waters: who makes the clouds his chariot: who walks upon the wings of the wind:
૩તમારા આકાશી ઘરનો પાયો તમે અંતરિક્ષનાં પાણી પર નાખ્યો છે; તમે વાદળાંને તમારા રથ બનાવ્યા છે; તમે પવનની પાંખો પર સવારી કરો છો.
4 Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
૪તમે પવનોને તમારા દૂત બનાવો છો અને તમારા સેવકો અગ્નિના ભડકા છે.
5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
૫તમે પૃથ્વીને તેના પાયા પર સ્થિર કરી છે જેથી તે ખસે નહિ.
6 You covered it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
૬તમે પૃથ્વીને વસ્ત્રની જેમ જળના ભંડારોથી આચ્છાદિત કરો છો; પાણીએ પર્વતોને આચ્છાદિત કર્યાં છે.
7 At your rebuke they fled; at the voice of your thunder they hasted away.
૭તમારી ધમકીથી તેઓ નાસી ગયાં; તમારી ગર્જનાથી તેઓ જતાં રહ્યાં.
8 They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which you have founded for them.
૮પહાડો ચઢી ગયા અને ખીણો ઊતરી ગઈ જે સ્થળ તમે પાણીને માટે મુકરર કર્યું હતું, ત્યાં સુધી તે પ્રસરી ગયાં.
9 You have set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
૯તેઓ ફરીથી પૃથ્વીને ઢાંકે નહિ માટે તમે તેઓને માટે હદ બાંધી છે કે જેથી તેઓ તે પાર ન કરી શકે;
10 He sends the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
૧૦તેમણે ખીણોમાં વહેતાં ઝરણાં બનાવ્યાં; તે પર્વતોની વચ્ચે વહે છે.
11 They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.
૧૧તે સર્વ પશુઓને પાણી પૂરું પાડે છે; રાની ગધેડાંઓ પણ પોતાની તરસ છિપાવે છે.
12 By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.
૧૨આકાશના પક્ષીઓ ઝરણાંઓને કિનારે માળા બાંધે છે; વૃક્ષોની ડાળીઓ મધ્યે ગાયન કરે છે.
13 He waters the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your works.
૧૩તે ઓરડામાંથી પર્વતો પર પાણી સિંચે છે. પૃથ્વી તેમનાં કામના ફળથી તૃપ્ત થાય છે.
14 He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
૧૪તે જાનવરને માટે ઘાસ ઉપજાવે છે અને માણસના માટે શાકભાજી ઉપજાવે છે કે જેથી માણસ ભૂમિમાંથી અન્ન ઉપજાવે છે.
15 And wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengthens man's heart.
૧૫તે માણસને આનંદ આપનાર દ્રાક્ષારસ, તેના મુખને તેજસ્વી કરનાર તેલ અને તેના જીવનને બળ આપનાર રોટલી તે નિપજાવે છે.
16 The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted;
૧૬યહોવાહનાં વૃક્ષો, એટલે લબાનોનનાં દેવદારો; જે તેમણે રોપ્યાં હતાં, તેઓ પાણીથી ભરપૂર છે.
17 Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.
૧૭ત્યાં પક્ષીઓ પોતાના માળા બાંધે છે. વળી દેવદાર વૃક્ષ બગલાઓનું રહેઠાણ છે.
18 The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.
૧૮ઊંચા પર્વતો પર રાની બકરાઓને અને ખડકોમાં સસલાને રક્ષણ અને આશ્રય મળે છે.
19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down.
૧૯ઋતુઓને માટે તેમણે ચંદ્રનું સર્જન કર્યું; સૂર્ય પોતાનો અસ્તકાળ જાણે છે.
20 You make darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
૨૦તમે અંધારું કરો છો એટલે રાત થાય છે ત્યારે જંગલનાં પશુઓ બહાર આવે છે.
21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.
૨૧સિંહનાં બચ્ચાં શિકાર માટે ગર્જના કરે છે અને તેઓ ઈશ્વર પાસે પોતાનું ભોજન માગે છે.
22 The sun arises, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.
૨૨સૂર્ય ઊગે કે તરત તેઓ જતાં રહે છે અને પોતાના કોતરોમાં સૂઈ જાય છે.
23 Man goes forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.
૨૩માણસ પોતાના કામકાજ કરવા બહાર આવે છે અને સાંજ સુધી પોતાનો ઉદ્યોગ ચલાવે છે.
24 O LORD, how manifold are your works! in wisdom have you made them all: the earth is full of your riches.
૨૪હે યહોવાહ, તમારાં કામ કેવાં તરેહતરેહનાં છે! તમે તે સર્વને બુદ્ધિપૂર્વક બનાવ્યાં છે; તમારી બનાવેલી વસ્તુઓથી પૃથ્વી ભરપૂર છે.
25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
૨૫જુઓ આ વિશાળ તથા ઊંડા સમુદ્રમાં, અસંખ્ય જીવજંતુઓ, નાનાંમોટાં જળચરો છે.
26 There go the ships: there is that leviathan (sea serpent), whom you have made to play therein.
૨૬વહાણો તેમાં આવજા કરે છે અને જે મગરમચ્છ તેમાં રમવા માટે તમે ઉત્પન્ન કર્યાં છે તે સમુદ્રમાં રહે છે.
27 These wait all upon you; that you may give them their food in due season.
૨૭તમે તેઓને યોગ્ય સમયે ખાવાનું આપો છો, તેથી આ સર્વ તમારી રાહ જુએ છે.
28 That you give them they gather: you open your hand, they are filled with good.
૨૮જ્યારે તમે તેઓને આપો છો, ત્યારે તેઓ ભેગા થાય છે; જ્યારે તમે તમારો હાથ ખોલો છો, ત્યારે તેઓ તૃપ્ત થાય છે.
29 You hide your face, they are troubled: you take away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
૨૯જ્યારે તમે તમારું મુખ ફેરવો છો, ત્યારે તેઓ ગભરાઈ જાય છે; જો તમે તેઓનો પ્રાણ લઈ લો છો, તો તેઓ મરણ પામે છે અને પાછાં ધૂળમાં મળી જાય છે.
30 You send forth your spirit, they are created: and you renew the face of the earth.
૩૦જ્યારે તમે તમારો આત્મા મોકલો છો, ત્યારે તેઓ ઉત્પન્ન થાય છે અને તમે દેશભરનું નવીકરણ કરો છો.
31 The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.
૩૧યહોવાહનો મહિમા સદાકાળ ટકી રહો; પોતાના સર્જનથી યહોવાહ આનંદ પામો.
32 He looks on the earth, and it trembles: he touches the hills, and they smoke.
૩૨તે પૃથ્વી પર દ્રષ્ટિ કરે છે અને તે કંપે છે; તે પર્વતોને સ્પર્શે છે અને તેઓમાંથી ધુમાડો નીકળે છે.
33 I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
૩૩હું જીવનપર્યંત યહોવાહની પ્રશંસાનાં ગીતો ગાઈશ; હું મારા છેલ્લાં શ્વાસ સુધી યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરીશ.
34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.
૩૪તેમના માટેના મારા શબ્દો વડે તે પ્રસન્ન થાઓ; હું યહોવાહમાં આનંદ કરીશ.
35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless you the LORD, O my soul. Praise all of you the LORD.
૩૫પૃથ્વીમાંથી સર્વ પાપીઓ નાશ પામો અને દુષ્ટોનો અંત આવો. હે મારા આત્મા, યહોવાહને સ્તુત્ય માન. યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરો.
