< Proverbs 5 >
1 My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow your ear to my understanding:
Ɗana, ka mai da hankali ga hikimata ka saurara da kyau ga kalmomin basirata,
2 That you may regard discretion, and that your lips may keep knowledge.
3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:
Gama leɓunan mazinaciya na ɗigan zuma, maganarta tana da sulɓi fiye da mai;
4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.
amma a ƙarshe tana da ɗaci kamar tafashiya, mai ci kamar takobi mai kaifi biyu.
5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. (Sheol )
Ƙafafunta na kaiwa ga mutuwa; sawunta na jagora kai tsaye zuwa kabari. (Sheol )
6 Lest you should ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that you can not know them.
Ba ta wani tunanin rayuwa; hanyoyinta karkatacce ne, amma ba tă sani ba.
7 Hear me now therefore, O all of you children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.
Yanzu fa,’ya’yana, ku saurare ni; kada ku juye daga abin da nake faɗa.
8 Remove your way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:
Ku yi nesa da hanyarta, kana ku je kusa da ƙofar gidanta,
9 Lest you give your honour unto others, and your years unto the cruel:
don kada ku ba da ƙarfi mafi kyau ga waɗansu da kuma shekarunku ga wani marar imani,
10 Lest strangers be filled with your wealth; and your labours be in the house of a stranger;
don kada baƙi su yi biki a kan dukiyarku wahalarku ta azurta gidan wani mutum dabam.
11 And you mourn at the last, when your flesh and your body are consumed,
12 And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;
Za ku ce, “Me ya sa na ƙi horo! Me ya sa zuciyata ta ƙi gyara!
13 And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!
Ban yi biyayya da malamaina ba ko in saurari masu koyar da ni.
14 I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.
15 Drink waters out of your own cistern, and running waters out of your own well.
Ku sha ruwa daga tankinku, ruwa mai gudu daga rijiyarku.
16 Let your fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.
In maɓulɓulanku suka cika suna malala har waje, rafuffukan ruwanku a dandalin jama’a?
17 Let them be only your own, and not strangers' with you.
18 Let your fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of your youth.
Bari maɓulɓulanka ya zama mai albarka, bari kuma ka yi farin ciki da matar ƙuruciyarka.
19 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy you at all times; and be you ravished always with her love.
Ƙaunatacciyar mariri, barewa mai kyan gani, bari mamanta su ishe ka kullum, bari ƙaunarta ta ɗauke hankalinka kullum.
20 And why will you, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?
Ɗana, me ya sa za ka bari mazinaciya ta ɗauke maka hankali? Don me za ka rungume matar wani?
21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he ponders all his activities.
Gama hanyar mutum a bayyane take a gaban Ubangiji, yana kuma lura da dukan hanyoyinsa.
22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be held with the cords of his sins.
23 He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.
Zai mutu saboda rashin ɗa’a yawan wawancinsa zai sa yă kauce.
