Numbers 32
1 Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle;

2 The children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spoke unto Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and unto the princes of the congregation, saying,

3 Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Shebam, and Nebo, and Beon,
Te vaengah Ataroth neh Dibon, Jazer neh Nimrah, Heshbon neh Elealeh, Sibam, Nebo, Beon,
4 Even the country which the LORD stroke before the congregation of Israel, is a land for cattle, and your servants have cattle:
Isreal rhaengpuei kah mikhmuh ah BOEIPAloh a ngawn khohmuen te boiva kah khohmuen tih na salrhoek taengah khaw boiva om ta,” a ti uh.
5 Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in your sight, let this land be given unto your servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan.
Te phoeiah, “Na mik ah mikdaithen ka hmuh atah he khohmuen he na salrhoek taengah khohut la m'paek vetih Jordan te kaimih nam paan sak pawt mako,” a ti uh.
6 And Moses said unto the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren go to war, and shall all of you sit here?
Tedae Moses loh Gad kocarhoek taeng neh Reuben kocarhoek taengah, “Nangmih helana ngol uh vaengah na manuca rhoek tah caemtloek la cet uh saeh a?
7 And wherefore discourage all of you the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the LORD has given them?
BOEIPA loh amih taengaha paek khohmuen la kat ham te balae tih Israel ca rhoek kah lungbuei hea khaban la na khaban uh.
8 Thus did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadeshbarnea to see the land.
Khohmuen sawt ham Kadeshbarnea lamloh amih ka tueih vaengah na pa rhoek loh he ni a saii uh.
9 For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them.
Eshkol soklong la cet uh tih khohmuen khaw a hmuh uh dae BOEIPA loh amih taengaha paek khohmuen la kun pawt ham Israel ca rhoek kah lungbuei tea khaban uh.
10 And the LORD's anger was kindled the same time, and he swore, saying,
Amah khohnin ah BOEIPA kah thintoek sai tiha toemngam.
11 Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I swore unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:
Egypt lamkah aka lo hlang rhoek khuiah kum kul neha so hang ca rhoek tah khohmuen te hmu uh mahpawh. Tete Abraham, Isaak taeng neh Jakob taengah ka toemngam dae kai hnukaha tlun uh moenih.
12 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the LORD.
Kenizzi Jephunneh capa Kaleb neh Nun capa Joshua tah BOEIPA hnukah tlun rhoi.
13 And the LORD's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.

14 And, behold, all of you are risen up in your fathers' position, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.
Israel taengah BOEIPA kah thintoek thinsa te koep khoengvoep ham ni na parhoek yueng hlangtholh hlang kah tahoengnah dongah na pai uh he.
15 For if all of you turn away from after him, he will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and all of you shall destroy all this people.
A hnuk lamlohna phael uh dongah khosoek ah amih tloeng ham koepa koei vetih he pilnam boeih hena mit uh bitni,” a ti nah.
16 And they came near unto him, and said, We will build sheepfolds here for our cattle, and cities for our little ones:
Te phoeiah a taengla mop uh tih, “Kaimih kah boiva ham boiva kah tanglung neh ka carhoek ham khopuei pahoi ka thoh uh mako.
17 But we ourselves will go ready armed before the children of Israel, until we have brought them unto their place: and our little ones shall dwell in the fenced cities because of the inhabitants of the land.
Tedae amihte a hmuen la ka pawk uh hil tah kaimih he Israel ca mikhmuh ah tawn uh ham ka pumcum uh bitni. Te vaengah khohmuen kah khosarhoek mikhmuh lamkah hmuencak khopueirhoek ah mamih kah camoe rhoek ana om saeh.
18 We will not return unto our houses, until the children of Israel have inherited every man his inheritance.

19 For we will not inherit with them on yonder side Jordan, or forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Jordan eastward.
Jordan kah rhalvangan neha voel kah amih neh m'phaeng uh boel saeh. Jordan khocuk ngan ah kaimih taengah kamamih kah rho om coeng,” a ti uh.
20 And Moses said unto them, If all of you will do this thing, if all of you will go armed before the LORD to war,
Te dongah Moses loh amih te, “He ol hena ngai uh mak atah, caemtloek ham BOEIPA mikhmuh ahna pumcum uh mak atah,
21 And will go all of you armed over Jordan before the LORD, until he has driven out his enemies from before him,
Nangmih aka pumcum boeih te tah BOEIPA mikhmuh ah Jordan tea poeng vetih a thunkharhoek te a mikhmuh lamloha haek ni.
22 And the land be subdued before the LORD: then afterward all of you shall return, and be guiltless before the LORD, and before Israel; and this land shall be your possession before the LORD.
BOEIPA mikhmuh ah khohmuena khoem uh coeng. Te dongah mael uh lamtah BOEIPA taeng neh Israel taengah ommongsitoe la na om uh bitni. Khohmuen he BOEIPA mikhmuh ah nangmih kah khohut la om bitni.
23 But if all of you will not do so, behold, all of you have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.
Te te na saii uh pawt atah BOEIPA taengahna tholh coeng ne. Te vaengah namamih kah tholhnah loh nangmih m'hmuh bitni tila ming uh.
24 Build you cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do that which has proceeded out of your mouth.
Nangmih ham neh na camoe ham khopuei khaw, na tu ham tanglung khaw thoh uh. Tedae nangmih ka lamloh aka thoengte rhoi uh,” a ti nah.
25 And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spoke unto Moses, saying, Your servants will do as my lord commands.
Te phoeiah Gad kocarhoek neh Reuben koca rhoek loh Moses taengah, “Na sal rhoek long he ka boei kah a uen banglaa saii uh bitni.
26 Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our cattle, shall be there in the cities of Gilead:
Ka yuu rhoek neh ka ca rhoek, ka boiva neh ka rhamsa boeih tah Gilead khopueirhoek ah pahoi om uh bitni.
27 But your servants will pass over, every man armed for war, before the LORD to battle, as my lord says.
Ka boei kah na thui bangla, BOEIPA mikhmuh ah caempuei la aka pumcum na sal rhoek tah caemtloek la boeih kat bitni ni,” a ti uh.
28 So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel:
Amih kongah Moses loh khosoih Eleazar, Nun capa Joshua neh Israel carhoek kah koca, a napa boeilurhoek tea uen.
29 And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then all of you shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:

30 But if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan.
Nangmih taengah aka pumcum uh khaw a kat uh pawt atah Kanaan khohmuen ah tah nangmih khui kahte bawn uh saeh,” a ti nah.
31 And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As the LORD has said unto your servants, so will we do.
Gad kocarhoek neh Reuben koca rhoek loh a doouh tih, “BOEIPA loh na salrhoek taengaha thui bangla ka saii uh tangloeng bitni.
32 We will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, that the possession of our inheritance on this side Jordan may be ours.
Kaimih BOEIPA mikhmuh ah aka pumcum rhoek tah Kanaan khohmuen la ka kat uh ni. Tedae Jordan rhalvang he tah kaimih kah rho neh kaimih ham khohut la om saeh,” a ti uh.
33 And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round about.

34 And the children of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer,
Te dongah Gad kocarhoek loh, Dibon, Ataroth neh Aroer,
35 And Atroth, Shophan, and Jaazer, and Jogbehah,
Aroth-shonphan, Jazer neh Jobehah,
36 And Bethnimrah, and Bethharan, fenced cities: and folds for sheep.
Bethnimrah neh Bethharan, hmuencak khopueirhoek neh boiva kah tanglung te a thoh uh.
37 And the children of Reuben built Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Kirjathaim,
Reuben koca rhoek loh Heshbon, Elealeh neh Kiriathaim,
38 And Nebo, and Baalmeon, (their names being changed, ) and Shibmah: and gave other names unto the cities which they built.
Nebo neh ming aka hoi Baalmeon, Sibam te a thoh uh. Te kah a thoh uh khopueirhoek ming tea ming neha khue uh.
39 And the children of Machir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead, and took it, and dispossessed the Amorite which was in it.
Manasseh capa Makir koca rhoek tah Gilead la cet uh tiha buem uh. Te vaengah a khui kah Amori tea haek uh.
40 And Moses gave Gilead unto Machir the son of Manasseh; and he dwelt therein.
Te dongah Moses loh Gilead te Manasseh capa Makir taengaha paek tih a khuiahkhoa sak uh.
41 And Jair the son of Manasseh went and took the small towns thereof, and called them Havothjair.
Manasseh capa Jair loh cet tih a vangcarhoek te loh dongah terhoek te Jair vangcaa sui.
42 And Nobah went and took Kenath, and the villages thereof, and called it Nobah, after his own name.
Nobah khaw cet tih Kenath neh a khobuelrhoek tea loh. Te dongah te te amah ming la Nobaha sui.
