< Luke 17 >
1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
Agus a dubhairt sé ris na deisciobluibh, Ní héidir nach dtíocfuid sgannalacha!: achd is trúagh don tí, tré a dtigid said!
2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
Do bfearr dhó cloch mhuilinn do chur fá na mhuinéul, agus a theilgean ann sa bhfairrge, ná áon don mhuinntir bhigsi sgannlachadh.
3 Take heed to yourselves: If your brother trespass against you, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
Tabhraidh bhur naire dhíbh féin: Má pheacaigheann do dhearbhrathair ad aghaidh, imdhearg é; agus má ní sé aithrighe, tabhair maitheamhnus dó.
4 And if he trespass against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day return to you, saying, I repent; you shall forgive him.
Agus má pheacaigheann sé ad aghaidh seachd nuáire sa ló, agus go bhfillfe sé chugad seachd nuáire sa ló, ag rádh, Atá aithreachas oram; tabhair maitheamhnus dó.
5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
Agus a dubhradar na heasbuil ris, A Thighearna, méuduigh ar gcreideamh.
6 And the Lord said, If all of you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, all of you might say unto this sycamine tree, Be you plucked up by the root, and be you planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
Agus a dubhairt an Tighearna, Dá mbeith oiread ghráinne musdaird do chreideamh aguibh, déaradh sibh ris a gcrann sicaminso, Eirigh as do fhréamhach, agus curthar an sa bhfairge thú; agus do umhlochadh sé dhaóibh.
7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he has come from the field, Go and sit down to food?
Agus cía aguibh, agá bhfuil searbhfhoghantuidhe a treabhadh no a coimhéd treada, lé a naibéoradh sé ar an mball, an tan do thiocfadh sé ón bhfearann, Imthigh agus suidh sios ar an bord?
8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird yourself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward you shall eat and drink?
Achd a né nach aibéora sé ris, Ullmhuigh an ní íosas mé ar mo shuiper, agus cuir do chrios thort, agus fritheóil damhsa, no go nithe mé agus go nibhe mé; agus tar éisi sin ithsi agus ibh?
9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I I think not not.
An mbía buidheachas aige ar a tsearbhfhoghantuidhe úd do bhrigh go ndearna sé na neithe do haithneadh dhe? Ní shaóilim gormbía.
10 So likewise all of you, when all of you shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are useless servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
Augs is mar sin dáoibhsi, an tan do dhéantaói gach uile ní dár haithniughadh dhíbh, abruidh, Is searbhfhoghantuidhe neamhtharbhacha sinn: óir do rinneamar an ni do bhi dfíachaibh oruinn do dhéanamh.
11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
Agus tárla, ag dul súas dó go Hierúsalém, gur ghabh sé sé tré lár na Samária agus na Galilé.
12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood far off:
Agus an tráth do chuáidh sé a sdeach go baile áirighe, tárladar deithneabhar fir lóbhar air, do sheas a bhfad úadh:
13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
Agus do árduigheadar a nguth, ag rádh, A Iósa, a Mhaighisdir, déana trócaire oruinn.
14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
Agus an tan do chunnairc sé íad, a dubhairt sé riu, Imthighidh foillsighidh sibh féin do na sagartuibh. Agus tárla, ag imtheachd doibhsion, gur glanadh íad.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
Achd fear aca, mar do chuinnairc sé é féin ar na shlánughadh, dfill sé air, ag moladh Dé do ghuth mhór,
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
Agus do thuit sé ar a aghuidh agá chosaibhsean, ag breith bhuidheachais ris: agus budh Samaritánach an fearso.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
Agus ar bhfreagra Diósa a dubhairt sé, A né nach bhfuilid deithneabhar ar na nglanadh? agus a náonbhar cáit a bhfuilid?
18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
Níor frith ag filleadh do thabhairt gloíre do Dhía, achd an coigcrigheachso.
19 And he said unto him, Arise, go your way: your faith has made you whole.
Agus a dubhairt sé ris, Eirigh, imthigh romhad: do shlánuigh do chreideamh thú.
20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with observation:
Agus an tan dfiafruigh na Phairisinigh dhe, Cía an tráth thiocfadh riogháchd Dé, do fhreagair sé iád agus a dubhairt sé, Ní thiocfa rioghachd Dé récoimhéd.
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Agus ní aibheóruid said, Féuch ann so! nó, féuch ann súd! oír, féuch, atá ríoghachd Dé aguibh an bhus measg.
22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when all of you shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and all of you shall not see it.
Agus a dubhairt sé ré na dheisciobluibh, Tiocfuidh a naimsir, an a mbia míangus oruibh áon do laéthibh Mhic an duine dfaicsin, agus ní fhaicfithí.
23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
Agus a déarúid said ribh, Féuch ann so; nó, féuch ann so: achd ná himthigh, agus na leanuidh iád.
24 For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
Oír amhuil agus mar dheallruigheas an tinnteach, shoillsigheas ó náird go chéile fáoi neamh, is mar sín bhiás Mac an duine mart an gcéndna ann a lá féin.
25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
Achd is éigin dó ar tús mórán dfulang, agus a dhiultadh ón chineadhsa.
26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
Agus mar do tharla a laéthibh Náoi, is mar sin fós bhiás a laéthibh Mhic an duine.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Do bhádar ag ithe, ag ibhe, ag posadh, agus ag tabhairt chum posda, gus an lá ann a ndeachaidh Náoi do náirc, agus táinic an dile, agus do sgris sí iád uile.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
Agus ar a nós gcéadna mar tharla a laéthibh Lot; do bhádar ag ithe, ag ibhe, ag ceannach, ag reic, ag plantugheadh, ag tógbhail tighthe;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Achd an lá ann a ndeachaidh Lot amach as Sodom do fearadh teine agus ruibh ó neamh, agus do sgrios sé iúd uile.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Is da réir so bhias ar an lá ann a bhfoillseochthar Mac an duine.
31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
Ann sa lá sin, an té bhiás a tigh, agus a mháoin ann sa tighsin, ná tuirlingeadh sé chum a dtógbhála: agus an tí atá ar an machaire, na casadh sé tar a ais mar an gcéadna.
Cuimhnighe ar mhnáoi Lot.
33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
Gidh bé neach iárrfas a anam féin do shabháil caillfidh sé é; agus gidh bé chaillfeasa anam beodhfuidh sé é.
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
A deirim ribh, béid diás a náoinleabaigh ann sa noidhche úd; geubhthar lé háon aca, agus fúighfighthear an fear eile.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Beid diás ban ag bróinteórachd a náoinfheachd; géubhthar lé mnáoi aca, agus fuigfighthear an dara bhean.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Beid diás fear ar an machaire; géubhthar lé háon aca, agus fuigfighthear an fear eile.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Where ever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
Agus ar bhfreaga dhóibhsion a deirid ris, Gá háit, a Thighearna? Agus a dubhairt seision riú, Gidh bé ball a mbíu an corp, is ann sin fós chruinneochthar na hiolair.
