Leviticus 11
1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
Potem PAN przemówił do Mojżesza i Aarona tymi słowy:
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which all of you shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
Powiedzcie synom Izraela: Oto są zwierzęta, które będziecie mogli jeść spośród wszystkich zwierząt, które są na ziemi;
3 Whatsoever parts the hoof, and is cloven footed, and chews the cud, among the beasts, that shall all of you eat.
Wszystkie zwierzęta, które mają rozdzielone kopyta i racice oraz przeżuwają – je możecie jeść.
4 Nevertheless these shall all of you not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he chews the cud, but divides not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
Jednak spośród tych, które przeżuwają albo mają [tylko] rozdzielone kopyta, nie będziecie jedli: wielbłąda, który choć przeżuwa, ale nie ma rozdzielonego kopyta – będzie dla was nieczysty.
5 And the coney, because he chews the cud, but divides not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
Także królika, który choć przeżuwa, ale nie ma rozdzielonego kopyta – będzie dla was nieczysty.
6 And the hare, because he chews the cud, but divides not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
Również zająca, który choć przeżuwa, ale nie ma rozdzielonego kopyta – będzie dla was nieczysty.
7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he chews not the cud; he is unclean to you.
Świni, która choć ma rozdzielone kopyto i racice, ale nie przeżuwa – będzie dla was nieczysta.
8 Of their flesh shall all of you not eat, and their carcass shall all of you not touch; they are unclean to you.
Nie będziecie jeść ich mięsa ani dotykać ich padliny – będą dla was nieczyste.
9 These shall all of you eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall all of you eat.
To będziecie jeść spośród wszystkiego, co żyje w wodach: wszystko, co w wodach – w morzach i rzekach – ma płetwy i łuski. To będziecie jeść.
10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
Wszystko zaś, co nie ma płetw ani łusek w morzach i rzekach spośród wszystkiego, co się porusza w wodach, i spośród wszystkich stworzeń wodnych, będzie dla was obrzydliwością.
11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; all of you shall not eat of their flesh, but all of you shall have their carcasses in abomination.
Będą dla was obrzydliwością; nie będziecie jedli ich mięsa, a ich padliną będziecie się brzydzić.
12 Whatsoever has no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
Wszystko w wodach, co nie ma płetw ani łusek, będzie dla was obrzydliwością.
13 And these are they which all of you shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the vulture, and the buzzard,
Tymi zaś będziecie się brzydzić z ptactwa [i] jeść [ich] nie będziecie, [bo] są obrzydliwością: orzeł, orłosęp i rybołów;
14 And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
Sęp i kania według ich rodzaju;
15 Every raven after his kind;
Wszelki kruk według jego rodzaju;
16 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after his kind,
Struś, sowa, mewa i jastrząb według ich rodzaju;
17 And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
Puszczyk, kormoran i puchacz;
18 And the swan, and the pelican, and the carrion vulture,
Łabędź, pelikan i ścierwnik;
19 And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
Bocian, czapla według jej rodzaju, dudek i nietoperz.
20 All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.
Wszelkie skrzydlate owady chodzące na czterech odnóżach będą dla was obrzydliwością.
21 Yet these may all of you eat of every flying creeping thing that goes upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap likewise upon the earth;
Jednak spośród wszystkich skrzydlatych owadów, które mają cztery odnóża, możecie jeść te, które mają z tyłu przedłużone odnóża do skakania po ziemi.
22 Even these of them all of you may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
Te z nich możecie jeść: szarańcza według jej rodzaju, szarańcza pustynna według jej rodzaju, skoczek według jego rodzaju i konik polny według jego rodzaju.
23 But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.
Wszelkie zaś inne skrzydlate pełzające istoty mające cztery odnóża będą dla was obrzydliwością.
24 And for these all of you shall be unclean: whosoever touches the carcass of them shall be unclean until the even.
Przez nie staniecie się nieczyści. Każdy, kto dotknie ich padliny, będzie nieczysty aż do wieczora;
25 And whosoever bears ought of the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
A ktokolwiek będzie nosił ich padlinę, upierze swoje szaty i będzie nieczysty aż do wieczora.
26 The carcasses of every beast which divides the hoof, and is not cloven footed, nor chews the cud, are unclean unto you: every one that touches them shall be unclean.
[Padlina] wszystkich zwierząt, które mają rozdzielone kopyto, ale nie mają racicy i nie przeżuwają, będzie dla was nieczysta. Każdy, kto jej dotknie, będzie nieczysty.
27 And whatsoever goes upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso touches their carcass shall be unclean until the even.
A wszystko, co chodzi na łapach spośród wszystkich zwierząt chodzących na czterech nogach, będzie dla was nieczyste. Kto dotknie ich padliny, będzie nieczysty aż do wieczora.
28 And he that bears the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they are unclean unto you.
A kto będzie nosił ich padlinę, upierze swoje szaty i będzie nieczysty aż do wieczora. Są one dla was nieczyste.
29 These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
Także spośród zwierząt, które pełzają po ziemi, będą dla was nieczyste: łasica, mysz i żółw według ich rodzaju;
30 And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.
Jeż, jaszczurka, tchórz, ślimak i kret.
31 These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever does touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.
Te będą dla was nieczyste spośród wszystkich pełzających zwierząt. Kto ich dotknie, gdy są martwe, będzie nieczysty aż do wieczora.
32 And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, does fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.
A każda rzecz, na którą upadnie coś zdechłego z nich, będzie nieczysta, zarówno drewniane naczynie, jak i szata, a także skóra, worek lub jakikolwiek inny przedmiot, którym wykonuje się pracę; należy [je] włożyć do wody i będzie nieczyste aż do wieczora. Potem będzie czyste.
33 And every earthen vessel, into where any of them falls, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and all of you shall break it.
Wszelkie zaś gliniane naczynie, do którego wpadnie którekolwiek z nich, wraz ze wszystkim, co znajduje się w nim, będzie nieczyste, a [naczynie] rozbijecie.
34 Of all food which may be eaten, that on which such water comes shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.
Każdy pokarm, który się spożywa, do którego dostanie się woda [z tego naczynia], będzie nieczysty. I wszelki napój, który by się piło z [takiego] naczynia, będzie nieczysty.
35 And every thing whereupon any part of their carcass falls shall be unclean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean and shall be unclean unto you.
Wszystko, na co upadnie cokolwiek z ich padlin, będzie nieczyste, czy to piec, czy palenisko; mają być zniszczone. Są [bowiem] nieczyste i będą dla was nieczyste.
36 Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which touches their carcass shall be unclean.
Lecz źródło i studnie, zbiorniki wody, będą czyste. Cokolwiek jednak dotknie ich padliny, będzie nieczyste.
37 And if any part of their carcass fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.
A jeśli coś z ich padliny upadnie na jakiekolwiek ziarno przeznaczone do siewu, to pozostanie czyste.
38 But if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcass fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.
Jeśli jednak coś z ich padliny upadnie na ziarno zmoczone wodą, będzie ono dla was nieczyste.
39 And if any beast, of which all of you may eat, die; he that touches the carcass thereof shall be unclean until the even.
Jeśli zdechnie zwierzę, które możecie jeść, to ten, kto dotknie jego padliny, będzie nieczysty aż do wieczora.
40 And he that eats of the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that bears the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
A kto by jadł jego padlinę, upierze swoje szaty i będzie nieczysty aż do wieczora. Ten, kto by wynosił tę padlinę, upierze swoje szaty i będzie nieczysty aż do wieczora.
41 And every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
Także wszelkie zwierzęta pełzające po ziemi są obrzydliwością; nie będziecie ich jeść.
42 Whatsoever goes upon the belly, and whatsoever goes upon all four, or whatsoever has more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them all of you shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
Niczego, co pełza na brzuchu, i niczego, co chodzi na czterech lub więcej odnóżach spośród wszystkich zwierząt pełzających po ziemi, nie będziecie jeść, bo są obrzydliwością.
43 All of you shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creeps, neither shall all of you make yourselves unclean with them, that all of you should be defiled thereby.
Nie plugawcie siebie samych przez wszelkie te zwierzęta pełzające po ziemi i nie zanieczyszczajcie się nimi, byście nie stali się nieczyści;
44 For I am the LORD your God: all of you shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and all of you shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall all of you defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
Gdyż ja jestem PAN, wasz Bóg. Uświęcajcie się więc i bądźcie świętymi, bo ja jestem święty. I nie zanieczyszczajcie się żadnym zwierzęciem pełzającym po ziemi.
45 For I am the LORD that brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: all of you shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
Gdyż ja [jestem] PAN, który was wyprowadził z ziemi Egiptu, aby [być] waszym Bogiem. Bądźcie więc świętymi, bo ja jestem święty.
46 This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps upon the earth:
To jest prawo [dotyczące] zwierząt, ptactwa i wszelkich żywych istot poruszających się w wodach, a także wszelkich istot pełzających po ziemi;
47 To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.
Dla rozróżnienia między nieczystym a czystym, między zwierzętami, które można jeść, a których jeść nie wolno.
