John 21
1 After these things Jesus showed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and likewise showed he himself.
事後，耶穌在提庇黎雅海邊，又顯現給門徒；他是這樣顯現的：
2 There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
當西滿伯多祿，號稱狄狄摩的多默，加里肋亞加納的納塔乃耳，載伯德的兩個兒子，和其他兩個門徒在一起的時候，
3 Simon Peter says unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with you. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
西滿伯多祿對他們說: 「我去打魚。」他們回答說: 「我們也同你一起去。」他們便出去，上了船；但那一夜什麼也沒捕到。
4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
已經到了早晨，耶穌站在岸上，門徒卻沒有認出他是耶穌。
5 Then Jesus says unto them, Children, have all of you any food? They answered him, No.
耶穌對他們說：「孩子們，你們有些魚吃嗎？」他們回答說：「沒有。」
6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and all of you shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
耶穌向他們說：「向船右邊撒網，就會捕到。」他們便撒下網去，因為魚太多，竟不能拉上網來。
7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved says unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked, ) and did cast himself into the sea.
耶穌所愛的那個門徒就對伯多祿說：「是主。」西滿伯多祿一聽說是主，他原是赤著身，就束上外衣，縱身跳入海裏；
8 And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits, ) dragging the net with fishes.
其他的門徒，因離岸不遠──約有二百肘──坐著小船，拖著一網魚而來。
9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.
他們上了岸，看見放著一堆炭火，上面放著魚和餅。
10 Jesus says unto them, Bring of the fish which all of you have now caught.
耶穌對他們說 ：「把你們剛才所打得的魚拿一些來！」
11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
西滿伯多祿便上去，把網拉上岸來，網裏滿了大魚，共一百五十三條；雖然這麼多，網卻沒有破。
12 Jesus says unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who are you? knowing that it was the Lord.
耶穌向他們說：「你們來吃早飯罷! 」門徒中沒有人敢問他：「你是誰？」因為知道是主。
13 Jesus then comes, and takes bread, and gives them, and fish likewise.
耶穌遂上前拿起餅來，遞給他們；也同樣拿起魚來，遞給他們。
14 This is now the third time that Jesus showed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
耶穌從死者中復活後，向門徒顯現，這已是第三次。
15 So when they had dined, Jesus says to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, love you me more than these? He says unto him, Yea, Lord; you know that I love you. He says unto him, Feed my lambs.
吃完了早飯，耶穌對西滿伯多祿說：「若望的兒子西滿，你比他們更愛我嗎？」伯多祿回答說：「主，是的，你知道我愛你。」耶穌就對他說：「你餵養我的羔羊。」
16 He says to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, love you me? He says unto him, Yea, Lord; you know that I love you. He says unto him, Feed my sheep.
耶穌第二次又問他說：「若望的兒子西滿，你愛我嗎？」伯多祿回答說：「主，是的，你知道我愛你。」耶穌就對他說：「你牧放我的羊群。」
17 He says unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, love you me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Love you me? And he said unto him, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you. Jesus says unto him, Feed my sheep.
耶穌說：「若望的兒子西滿，你愛我嗎？」伯多祿因耶穌第三次問他說：「你愛我嗎？」便憂愁起來，遂向他說：「主啊! 一切你都知道，你曉得我愛你。」耶穌對他說：「你餵養我的羊群。」
18 Verily, verily, I say unto you, When you were young, you gird yourself, and walked where you would: but when you shall be old, you shall stretch forth your hands, and another shall gird you, and carry you where you would not.
我實實在在告訴你：你年少時，自己束上腰，任意往來；但到了老年，你要伸出手來，別人要給你束上腰，帶你往你不願去的地方去。」
19 This spoke he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he says unto him, Follow me.
耶穌說這話，是指他將以怎樣的死，去光榮天主。說完這話，又對他說：「跟隨我罷! 」
20 Then Peter, turning about, sees the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrays you?
伯多祿轉過身來，看見耶穌所愛的那個門徒跟著，即在晚餐時靠耶穌胸膛前問：「主! 是誰出賣你？」的那個門徒。
21 Peter seeing him says to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
伯多祿一看見他，就對耶穌說：「主，他怎樣？」
22 Jesus says unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to you? follow you me.
耶穌向他說：「我如果要他存留直到我來，與你何干？你只管跟隨我。」
23 Then went this saying (logos) abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to you?
於是在兄弟們中間傳出這話說：「那門徒不死。」其實耶穌並沒有說：他不死，而只說：「我如果要他存留直到我來，與你何干？」
24 This is the disciple which testifies of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.
為這些事作證，且寫下這些事的，就是這個門徒，我們知道：他的作證是真實的。
25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
耶穌所行的還有許多別的事；假使要一一寫出來，我想所要寫的書，連這世界也容不下。
