John 11
1 Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
| پیاوێک بە ناوی لەعازر نەخۆش بوو کە خەڵکی بێت‌عەنیا بوو، هەمان گوندی مریەم و مەرسای خوشکی. |
2 (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
| ئەم مریەمە ئەوە بوو کە مەسیحی خاوەن شکۆی بە بۆن چەورکرد، بە پرچی پێیەکانی سڕییەوە، لەعازری نەخۆشیش برای بوو. |
3 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom you love is sick.
| خوشکەکان هەواڵیان بۆ عیسا نارد و گوتیان: «گەورەم، ئەوەتا ئەوەی خۆشتدەوێ نەخۆشە.» |
4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
| کاتێک عیسا ئەمەی بیست فەرمووی: «ئەم نەخۆشییە بۆ مردن نییە، بەڵکو بۆ شکۆداری خودایە، تاکو بەهۆیەوە کوڕی خودا شکۆدار بێت.» |
5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.
| لەگەڵ ئەوەی عیسا مەرسا و خوشکەکەی و لەعازری خۆشدەویست، |
6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
| کاتێک بیستی نەخۆشە، دوو ڕۆژی دیکە لەو شوێنەی لێی بوو مایەوە. |
7 Then after that says he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.
| دوای ئەمە عیسا بە قوتابییەکانی فەرموو: «با بگەڕێینەوە بۆ ناوچەی یەهودیا.» |
8 His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone you; and go you thither again?
| قوتابییەکان پێیان گوت: «ڕابی، ماوەیەک لەمەوبەر جولەکەکانی ئەوێ دەیانویست بەردبارانت بکەن، دیسان دەچیتەوە ئەوێ؟» |
9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbles not, because he sees the light of this world.
| عیساش وەڵامی دایەوە: «ئایا ڕۆژ دوازدە کاتژمێر نییە؟ ئەوەی بە ڕۆژ بڕوات پێی هەڵناکەوێت، چونکە ڕووناکیی ئەم جیهانە دەبینێت. |
10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbles, because there is no light in him.
| بەڵام ئەوەی بە شەو بڕوات پێی هەڵدەکەوێت، چونکە ڕووناکی تێدا نییە.» |
11 These things said he: and after that he says unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleeps; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
| ئەمانەی فەرموو، پاشان پێی فەرموون: «لەعازری دۆستمان نوستووە، بەڵام دەڕۆم تاکو بەخەبەری بهێنمەوە.» |
12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
| ئینجا قوتابییەکان پێیان گوت: «گەورەم، ئەگەر ئەو نوستووە، چاکدەبێتەوە.» |
13 Nevertheless Jesus spoke of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
| عیسا باسی مردنی ئەوی کرد، بەڵام ئەوان وایانزانی باس لە نوستنی ئاسایی دەکات. |
14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.
| عیساش بە ئاشکرا پێی فەرموون: «لەعازر مردووە. |
15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent all of you may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.
| لەبەر ئێوە دڵشادم کە لەوێ نەبووم، تاکو باوەڕ بهێنن. وەرن، با بڕۆین بۆ لای.» |
16 Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellow disciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.
| تۆماسیش کە بە دووانە بانگ دەکرا، بە قوتابییە هاوەڵەکانی گوت: «با ئێمەش لەگەڵ ئەودا بڕۆین تاکو لەگەڵ ئەودا بمرین.» |
17 Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already.
| کاتێک عیسا گەیشت، زانی لەعازر وا چوار ڕۆژە لە گۆڕدایە. |
18 Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:
| بێت‌عەنیاش نزیکەی پازدە تیرهاوێژ لە ئۆرشەلیمەوە دوور بوو. |
19 And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.
| ژمارەیەکی زۆر لە جولەکەکان هاتبوونە لای مەرسا و مریەم تاکو سەرەخۆشی براکەیان لێ بکەن. |
20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.
| کاتێک مەرسا بیستی عیسا هاتووە، بەرەوپیری چوو، بەڵام مریەم لە ماڵ مایەوە. |
21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if you had been here, my brother had not died.
| ئینجا مەرسا بە عیسای گوت: «گەورەم، ئەگەر لێرە بوویتایە، براکەم نەدەمرد. |
22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever you will ask of God, God will give it you.
| ئێستاش دەزانم هەرچی لە خودا داوا بکەیت، خودا دەتداتێ.» |
23 Jesus says unto her, Your brother shall rise again.
| عیسا پێی فەرموو: «براکەت زیندوو دەبێتەوە.» |
24 Martha says unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
| مەرساش پێی گوت: «دەزانم لە زیندووبوونەوەی ڕۆژی دواییدا هەڵدەستێتەوە.» |
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
| عیسا پێی فەرموو: «منم زیندووبوونەوە و ژیان. ئەوەی باوەڕم پێ بهێنێت، ئەگەر بشمرێت زیندوو دەبێتەوە. |
| هەروەها هەرکەسێک کە زیندووە و باوەڕم پێ بهێنێت، هەرگیز نامرێت. باوەڕ بەمە دەکەیت؟» (aiōn g165) |
27 She says unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
| پێی گوت: «بەڵێ گەورەم. باوەڕم هێناوە کە تۆ مەسیحەکەیت، کوڕی خودای، ئەوەی بۆ جیهان دێت.» |
28 And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master has come, and calls for you.
| پاشان کە ئەمەی گوت، چوو مریەمی خوشکی بانگکرد و بە نهێنی گوتی: «مامۆستا لێرەیە، بانگت دەکات.» |
29 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him.
| ئەویش کە ئەمەی بیست خێرا هەستا و هاتە لای. |
30 Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him.
| عیسا هێشتا نەهاتبووە ناو گوندەکە، بەڵکو لەو شوێنە بوو کە مەرسای لێ بینی. |
31 The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goes unto the grave to weep there.
| ئەو جولەکانەی لە ماڵەوە لەگەڵی بوون و دڵنەواییان دەکرد، بینییان مریەم خێرا هەستا و چووە دەرەوە، دوای کەوتن، وایانزانی دەچێتە سەر گۆڕەکە تاکو لەوێ بگریێت. |
32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if you had been here, my brother had not died.
| کاتێک مریەم گەیشتە ئەو شوێنەی عیسای لێبوو و ئەوی بینی، بەسەر پێیدا کەوت و پێی گوت: «گەورەم، ئەگەر لێرە بوویتایە، براکەم نەدەمرد.» |
33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, (pneuma) and was troubled.
| عیساش کە بینی دەگریێت و ئەو جولەکانەش کە لەگەڵی هاتبوون دەگریێن، کاری لە ڕۆحی کرد و خەمبار بوو، |
34 And said, Where have all of you laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.
| لێی پرسین: «لەکوێتان داناوە؟» ئەوانیش وەڵامیان دایەوە: «گەورەم، وەرە و ببینە.» |
35 Jesus wept.
| جا عیسا گریا. |
36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!
| لەبەر ئەوە جولەکەکان گوتیان: «سەیر بکەن، چەندی خۆشدەویست!» |
37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
| بەڵام هەندێکیان گوتیان: «ئەمە کە چاوی نابیناکەی چاک کردەوە، ئایا نەیدەتوانی وای بکردایە ئەمیش نەمردایە؟» |
38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself comes to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
| دیسان عیسا لە ناخەوە خەم دایگرت و هاتە لای گۆڕەکە کە ئەشکەوتێک بوو دەمەکەی بەردێکی پێوەنرابوو. |
39 Jesus said, Take all of you away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, says unto him, Lord, by this time he stinks: for he has been dead four days.
| عیسا فەرمووی: «بەردەکە لادەن.» مەرسای خوشکی مردووەکە پێی گوت: «گەورەم، بۆنی کردووە، چونکە چوار ڕۆژە.» |
40 Jesus says unto her, Said I not unto you, that, if you would believe, you should see the glory of God?
| عیساش پێی فەرموو: «ئەی پێم نەگوتی ئەگەر باوەڕ بکەیت شکۆی خودا دەبینیت؟» |
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank you that you have heard me.
| ئەوسا بەردەکەیان لابرد، عیساش چاوی هەڵبڕی بۆ ئاسمان و فەرمووی: «باوکە، سوپاست دەکەم کە گوێت لێ گرتم. |
42 And I knew that you hear me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that you have sent me.
| دەمزانی کە تۆ هەمیشە گوێم لێ دەگریت. بەڵام لەبەر ئەو خەڵکەی لەم ناوە ڕاوەستاون ئەمەم گوت، تاکو باوەڕ بکەن کە تۆ منت ناردووە.» |
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
| کە ئەمەی فەرموو، بە دەنگێکی بەرز هاواری کرد: «لەعازر وەرە دەرەوە!» |
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a cloth. Jesus says unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
| ئەوسا مردووەکە هاتە دەرەوە، دەست و قاچی بە کفن بەسترابوو، ڕووشی بە دەسماڵێک پێچرابوو. عیساش پێی فەرموون: «بیکەنەوە، بهێڵن با بڕوا.» |
45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.
| لەبەر ئەوە ژمارەیەکی زۆر لە جولەکەکان کە بۆ لای مریەم هاتبوون و ئەمەیان بینی کە عیسا کردی، باوەڕیان پێی هێنا. |
46 But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.
| بەڵام هەندێکیان چوونە لای فەریسییەکان و ئەوەی عیسا کردبووی پێیان ڕاگەیاندن. |
47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man does many miracles.
| لەبەر ئەوە کاهینانی باڵا و فەریسییەکان ئەندامانی ئەنجومەنی باڵایان کۆکردەوە. گوتیان: «چی بکەین؟ چونکە ئەم پیاوە پەرجووی زۆر دەکات. |
48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.
| ئەگەر بەم شێوەیە لێیگەڕێین هەموو خەڵکەکە باوەڕی پێ دەهێنن، ڕۆمانییەکانیش دێن، پەرستگاکەمان دەڕووخێنن و نەتەوەکەمان ڕاپێچ دەکەن.» |
49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, All of you know nothing at all,
| یەکێک لەوان، بە ناوی قەیافا، ئەو ساڵە سەرۆکی کاهینان بوو، پێی گوتن: «ئێوە هیچ نازانن! |
50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
| تێناگەن کە باشترە بۆتان پیاوێک لە جیاتی گەل بمرێت، لەوەی کە گەل هەمووی لەناوبچێت.» |
51 And this spoke he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
| ئەو لە خۆیەوە ئەمەی نەگوت، بەڵکو لەو ساڵەدا سەرۆکی کاهینان بوو، پێشبینیی کرد کە عیسا لە جیاتی گەل دەمرێت، |
52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
| نەک تەنها لە جیاتی ئەو گەلە، بەڵکو تاکو ڕۆڵەکانی خودا کە پەرتەوازە بوون کۆبکاتەوە و یەکیانبخاتەوە. |
53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together in order to put him to death.
| ئیتر لەو ڕۆژەوە پیلانی کوشتنیان داڕشت. |
54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.
| لەبەر ئەوە چیتر عیسا بە ئاشکرا بەناو خەڵکی یەهودیادا نەدەگەڕا، بەڵکو لەوێوە چووە ناوچەکانی نزیک چۆڵەوانی، بۆ شارێک ناوی ئەفرایم بوو، لەگەڵ قوتابییەکانی لەوێ مایەوە. |
55 And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.
| لەو کاتەدا جەژنی پەسخەی جولەکەکان نزیک بوو، زۆر کەس لە گوندەکانەوە پێش جەژن بۆ ئۆرشەلیم هاتبوون تاکو خۆیان پاک بکەنەوە. |
56 Then sought they for Jesus, and spoke among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think all of you, that he will not come to the feast?
| جا بە دوای عیسادا دەگەڕان، هەروەها کاتێک لە حەوشەکانی پەرستگا ڕاوەستابوون بە یەکتریان دەگوت: «ڕاتان چییە؟ ئایا بۆ جەژن نایەت؟» |
57 Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should show it, that they might take him.
| کاهینانی باڵا و فەریسییەکانیش فەرمانیان دەرکردبوو ئەگەر هەرکەسێک بزانێت ئەو لەکوێیە، دەبێت ئاشکرای بکات، تاکو بیگرن. |
