Job 9
1 Then Job answered and said,
| ئەیوبیش وەڵامی دایەوە: |
2 I know it is so truthfully: but how should man be just with God?
| «ڕاستە، دەزانم کە وایە. جا چۆن مرۆڤ لەبەرچاوی خودا ڕاستودروست دەبێت؟ |
3 If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.
| ئەگەر بیەوێت مشتومڕی لەگەڵ بکات، ناتوانێت وەڵامی یەک لە هەزار بداتەوە. |
4 He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who has hardened himself against him, and has prospered?
| خودا داناییەکی فراوان و توانایەکی زۆری هەیە. کێ هەیە دژایەتی کردبێت و بە سەلامەتی دەرچووبێت؟ |
5 Which removes the mountains, and they know not: which overturns them in his anger.
| هەژێنەری چیاکانە بێ ئەوەی بەخۆیان بزانن، ئەوەی لە کاتی تووڕەییدا سەرەوژێریان دەکات. |
6 Which shakes the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.
| زەوی لە جێی خۆی لەق دەکات، جا کۆڵەکەکانی دەخاتە بوومەلەرزە. |
7 Which commands the sun, and it rises not; and seals up the stars.
| فەرمان بە خۆر دەدات، کە هەڵنەیەت، بە ئەستێرەکانیش کە نەدرەوشێنەوە. |
8 Which alone spreads out the heavens, and treads upon the waves of the sea.
| خۆی بە تەنها ئاسمانی لێک کردووەتەوە، بەسەر شەپۆلەکانی دەریادا ڕۆیشتووە. |
9 Which makes Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.
| دروستکەری کەلووەکانی ورچ و ڕاوچی و حەوتەوانە و ئەو کەلووانەیە کە لە باشووری زەوی دەبینرێن. |
10 Which does great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.
| کاری مەزنی بەم جۆرەی کردووە کە لە سەرووی بیرکردنەوەن، هێندە پەرجوو کە لە ژماردن نایەن. |
11 Lo, he goes by me, and I see him not: he passes on also, but I perceive him not.
| کاتێک بەسەرمدا دەڕوات نایبینم، کاتێک تێدەپەڕێت هەستی پێ ناکەم! |
12 Behold, he takes away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What do you?
| ئەگەر شتێکمان لێ بستێنێت کێ دەتوانێت بەرەنگاری بێتەوە؟ کێ پێی دەڵێت:”ئەوە چی دەکەیت؟“ |
13 If God will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under him.
| خودا تووڕەیی خۆی ناگێڕێتەوە، یارمەتیدەرانی ڕەهەڤ لە ژێریدا دەچەمێنەوە. |
14 How much less shall I answer him, and choose out my words to reason with him?
| «ئیتر من چۆن وەڵامی بدەمەوە و چۆن وشە هەڵبژێرم بۆ وەڵامدانەوەی؟ |
15 Whom, though I were righteous, yet would I not answer, but I would make supplication to my judge.
| ئەگەر ڕاستودروستیش بم، ناتوانم وەڵامی بدەمەوە، بەڵکو داوای بەزەیی لە دادوەرم دەکەم. |
16 If I had called, and he had answered me; yet would I not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice.
| ئەگەر بانگی بکەم، ئەویش وەڵامم بداتەوە، باوەڕ ناکەم کە گوێی بۆ دەنگم شل بکات، |
17 For he breaks me with a tempest, and multiplies my wounds without cause.
| بەڵکو ئەو بە زریان تێکمدەشکێنێت و بەبێ هۆ برینەکانم زۆر دەکات. |
18 He will not suffer me to take my breath, but fills me with bitterness.
| ناهێڵێت هەناسە بدەم، بەڵام لە تاڵی تێرم دەکات. |
19 If I speak of strength, lo, he is strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time to plead?
| ئەگەر تاقیکردنەوەی هێز بێت، ئەو بەهێزترینە! ئەگەر کێشەی دادگا بێت، کێ دەتوانێت بانگی بکات؟ |
20 If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.
| ئەگەر بێتاوان بم دەمم تاوانبارم دەکات، ئەگەر بێ کەموکوڕیش بم، دەیسەلمێنێت تاوانبارم. |
21 Though I were perfect, yet would I not know my soul: I would despise my life.
| «هەرچەندە من بێ کەموکوڕیم، بەڵام بایەخ بە ژیانی خۆم نادەم؛ ڕقم لە ژیانم دەبێتەوە. |
22 This is one thing, therefore I said it, He destroys the perfect and the wicked.
| ”خودا کۆتایی بە چاک و بە خراپ دەهێنێت.“لەبەر ئەوە گوتم: بەلامەوە هەردووکیان وەک یەکن، |
23 If the scourge slay suddenly, he will laugh at the trial of the innocent.
| ئەگەر کارەساتی لەناکاو مردن بهێنێت، بە نائومێدیی بێتاوان پێدەکەنێت. |
24 The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covers the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?
| کە خاکێک درابێت بە دەست بەدکارەوە، ئەوا پەردە بەسەر ڕووی دادوەرەکانی دەدات، ئەگەر ئەو نەبێت، ئەی کێیە؟ |
25 Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no good.
| «ڕۆژگارم خێراترە لە کەسێک کە ڕادەکات، گوزەر دەکات و چێژی لێ نابینم. |
26 They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that hastes to the prey.
| وەک چۆن کەشتی زەل ڕووبار دەبڕێت هەروەک هەڵۆیەک کە دەنیشێتە سەر نێچیرەکەی. |
27 If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort myself:
| ئەگەر بڵێم:”سکاڵاکەی خۆم فەرامۆش دەکەم و واز لە ڕووگرژی دەهێنم و زەردەخەنە دەخەمە سەر لێوەکانم،“ |
28 I am afraid of all my sorrows, I know that you will not hold me innocent.
| لەگەڵ ئەوەشدا لە هەموو ئازارەکانم دەترسم، چونکە دەزانم بێتاوانم ناکەیت. |
29 If I be wicked, why then labour I in vain?
| من تاوانبار دەکرێم، ئیتر بۆچی بەخۆڕایی خۆم ماندوو بکەم؟ |
30 If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean;
| ئەگەر بە بەفراو خۆم بشۆم و دەستەکانم بە ئەسپۆن پاک بکەمەوە، |
31 Yet shall you plunge me in the ditch, and mine own clothes shall detest me.
| لەناو چاڵێک ڕیخ نوقومم دەکەیت، تەنانەت جلوبەرگەکەم قێزم لێ دەکەنەوە. |
32 For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment.
| «ئەو وەک من مرۆڤ نییە هەتا وەڵامی بدەمەوە و لە دادگا ڕووبەڕووی یەک ببینەوە. |
33 Neither is there any arbitrator between us, that might lay his hand upon us both.
| خۆزگە ناوبژیوانێک لەنێوانمان دەبوو، دەستی لەسەر هەردووکمان دادەنا، |
34 Let him take his rod away from me, and let not his fear terrify me:
| تاوەکو کوتەکەکەی خودام لەسەر هەڵبگرێت و ترسەکەی نەمتۆقێنێت. |
35 Then would I speak, and not fear him; but it is not so with me.
| ئەو کاتە قسەم دەکرد و لێی نەدەترسام، چونکە من بەو شێوەیە نیم کە ئەو لێم تێگەیشتووە.» |
