< Job 17 >
1 My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are ready for me.
Na karaya, kwanakina sun kusa ƙarewa, kabari yana jirana.
2 Are there not mockers with me? and does not mine eye continue in their provocation?
Ba shakka masu yi mini ba’a suna kewaye da ni; idanuna suna ganin tsokanar da suke yi mini.
3 Lay down now, put me in a guarantor with you; who is he that will shake hands with me?
“Ya Allah, ka ba ni abin da ka yi mini alkawari. Wane ne zai kāre ni?
4 For you have hid their heart from understanding: therefore shall you not exalt them.
5 He that speaks flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.
In mutum ya juya wa abokansa baya don a ba shi wata lada’ya’yansa za su makance.
6 He has made me also a byword of the people; and in old times I was as a timbrel.
“Allah ya sa na zama abin da kowa yake magana a kai wanda kowa yake tofa wa miyau a fuska.
7 Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.
Idanuna ba sa gani sosai don baƙin ciki; jikina ya zama kamar inuwa kawai
8 Upright men shall be astonished at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.
Mutanen da suke masu adalci wannan abu ya ba su tsoro; marasa laifi sun tayar wa marasa tsoron Allah.
9 The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that has clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.
10 But as for you all, do all of you return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you.
“Amma ku zo dukanku, ku sāke gwadawa! Ba zan sami mutum ɗaya mai hikima ba a cikinku.
11 My days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart.
Kwanakina sun wuce, shirye-shiryena sun ɓaci haka kuma abubuwan da zuciyata take so.
12 They change the night into day: the light is short because of darkness.
Mutanen nan sun juya rana ta zama dare. A tsakiyar duhu suka ce, ‘Haske yana kusa.’
13 If I wait, the grave is mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness. (Sheol )
14 I have said to corruption, You are my father: to the worm, You are my mother, and my sister.
15 And where is now my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it?
To, ina begena yake? Wane ne zai iya ganin wani bege domina?
16 They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our rest together is in the dust. (Sheol )
(Sheol )
