< James 5 >

1 Go to now, all of you rich men, weep and wail for your miseries that shall come upon you.
Moala yinba a piada! Yin ya buudi mani a bubupaala kelima ya fala n baa baa yipo yaapo.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten.
Yi piama bedi, ti lulugidi mo ŋmani yi tiayiekaadi.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. All of you have heaped treasure together for the last days.
I tantonmoani biidi yi wula leni yi ŋanjilifa. Yi dogini dogini yi ŋalimani a juodidana na niinni.
4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, cries: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.
Diidi, ya tuonsoaba n den yendi i kuani ke yi janbi ba yeni, panpaani mua ki kuli yi. Yaaba n den yendi yi kpaandi ya moe mo doni ki pundi ŋali o Diedo U Paaciamu kuli daano tuba nni.
5 All of you have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; all of you have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
Yi den ye ŋanduna nni leni mi yemanma ki go kuandi yi yama yi gbannandi bonbuakaala nni. Yi den di ki gbengidi nani a yanwubida ban wubi yaaba mi kodima daali po yeni.
6 All of you have condemned and killed the just; and he does not resist you.
Yi cuo o niteginkoa ki jia leni ti buudi ki kpa o, waa yie yipo.
7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
Diidi mani, o kpakpaalo yen gu ki tinga bonluonkaala, yaala n pia mayuli ŋali boncianla, ki juuni lipo ŋali wan baa baa ki takpiaga leni ki tajuodikaaga kuli.
8 Be all of you also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draws nigh.
Yi moko n juuni ki paagi yi pala, kelima o Diedo cuama nagini.
9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest all of you be condemned: behold, the judge stands before the door.
10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
N kpiiba, yin teni mani bi sawalipuaba ya fala leni bi juunli n ya tie yipo bontogidikaala, bani yaaba n den maadi o Diedo yeli nni.
11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. All of you have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
Diidi mani, ti tua ke li pamancianli ye leni yaaba n laa fala ki go juuni lienni.
12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest all of you fall into condemnation.
N kpiiba, yaala n pia mayuli tie line: yin da poli mani leni tanpoli, bi leni ki tinga, baa leni poliba kuli. Ama yi ya yedi: “Mm,” lan ya tie mm. Yi ya yedi: “A-a,” mo lan ya tie a-a, ke U Tienu n da ti jia leni yi ti buudi.
13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
Naani yi siiga niloba ye leni fala bi? Wan jaandi. Naani niloba ye leni li pamanli bi? Wan yiini U Tienu yani ki pagi o.
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Naani yi siiga niloba yia bi? Wan yini Kilisiti n yini yaaba nikpeliba ban jaandi opo, ki wuli opo mi kpama o Diedo yeli nni.
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Li dandanli ya jaandi baa paagi yua n yia yeni. O Diedo baa fiini o. Li ya tie ke o den tieni ti tuonbiadi, o baa baa sugili.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that all of you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Lanwani yin tuo mani yi tuonbiadi yi yaba nintuali, ki go ya jaandi yi yaba po ke yin paagi. O niteginkoa jaandimoani pia u paalu ŋali boncianla.
17 Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
Lani n pendi o go den jaandi ke ki taaga den mini, ke ki tinga mo loni ki bonluonkaala.
19 Brethren, if any of you do go astray from the truth, and one convert him;
20 Let him know, that he which converts the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
