< Hebrews 6 >
1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine (logos) of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Naizvozvo ngatisiyei dzidziso dzokutanga pamusoro paKristu uye tipfuurire mberi mukukura, tisingaisizve nheyo dzokutendeuka kubva pamabasa anotungamirira kurufu, uye nokutenda muna Mwari,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (aiōnios )
dzidziso pamusoro pokubhabhatidzwa nedzokuisa maoko pamusoro, dzokumuka kubva kuvakafa, uye nedzokutongwa kusingaperi. (aiōnios )
3 And this will we do, if God permit.
Uye kana Mwari achitendera, ndizvo zvatichaita.
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, (pneuma)
Nokuti hazvigoni kuti vaya vakambovhenekerwa, vaya vakamboravira chipo chokudenga, vakagoverwa Mweya Mutsvene,
5 And have tasted the good word (rhema) of God, and the powers of the world to come, (aiōn )
vakaravira kunaka kweshoko raMwari uye namasimba enyika inouya, (aiōn )
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
kuti vatendeukezve mushure mokunge vatsauka, nokuti pakurasikirwa kwavo vanorovererazve Mwanakomana waMwari, vachimunyadzisa pachena.
7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that comes often upon it, and brings forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receives blessing from God:
Nyika inonwa mvura inonaya nguva nenguva pamusoro payo uye inobereka zvirimwa zvinobatsira avo vanoirima, ndiyo inoropafadzwa naMwari.
8 But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
Asi nyika inobereka minzwa norukato haibatsiri uye ine dambudziko rokuti ichatukwa. Pakupedzisira ichapiswa.
9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
Kunyange zvazvo tichitaura sezvizvi, hama dzinodikanwa, tinoziva kwazvo kuti kwamuri kuchabva zvinhu zviri nani, zvinhu zvinoshanda pamwe chete noruponeso.
10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, (agape) which all of you have showed toward his name, in that all of you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Mwari haazi asina kururama; haangakanganwi basa renyu norudo rwamakamuratidza pamaibatsira vanhu vake uye kuti muchiri kuramba muchivabatsira.
11 And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
Tinoda kuti mumwe nomumwe wenyu ave nokushingaira kumwe cheteko kusvikira kumagumo, kuitira kuti muve nechokwadi chetariro yenyu.
12 That all of you be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Hatidi kuti muve simbe, asi kuti muve vateveri vaavo vanodya nhaka yakavimbiswa kubudikidza nokutenda nokutsungirira.
13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he swore by himself,
Mwari paakaita vimbiso yake kuna Abhurahama, sezvo kwakanga kusina mumwe mukuru kwaari wokuti angapika naye, akapika naiye amene,
14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.
achiti, “Zvirokwazvo ndichakuropafadza uye ndichakupa zvizvarwa zvizhinji.”
15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
Uye mushure mokumirira nomwoyo murefu, Abhurahama akagamuchira chipikirwa.
16 For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.
Vanhu vanopika nomukuru kwavari, uye mhiko ndiyo inosimbisa zvinenge zvataurwa, uye inopedza gakava rose.
17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
Nokuti Mwari aida kuti aratidze pachena kusashanduka kwechido chake kuvadyi venhaka yakapikirwa, akakusimbisa nemhiko.
18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Mwari akaita izvi kuitira kuti, nezvinhu zviviri zvisingashanduki, zvokuti Mwari haagoni kureva nhema, isu vakatiza tikandobatisisa tariro yatakapiwa, tichasimbiswa zvikuru.
19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters into that within the veil;
Tine tariro iyi sechibatiso choMweya, chakasimba chisingazungunuswi. Inopinda mukati mechidzitiro chomutemberi,
20 Where the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. (aiōn )
makapinda Jesu akatitangira isu, akapinda akatimiririra. Akava muprista mukuru nokusingaperi worudzi rwaMerikizedheki. (aiōn )
