Genesis 25
1 Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.
১পাছত অব্ৰাহামে কটুৰা নামৰ আন এগৰাকীক বিয়া কৰিলে।
2 And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.
২তেওঁৰ ঔৰসত জিম্ৰণ, যক্সন, মদান, মিদিয়ন, যস্বক আৰু চুহৰ জন্ম হ’ল।
3 And Jokshan brings forth Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.
৩যক্সনৰ সন্তান চিবা আৰু দদান। অচুৰীয়া, লটুচীয়া, লিয়ুম্মীয়া, এইকেইজন দদানৰ সন্তান।
4 And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abidah, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.
৪মিদিয়নৰ সন্তান ঐফা, এফৰ, হনোক, অবীদা আৰু ইলদায়া। এই আটাইকেইজন আছিল সেই কটুৰাৰ বংশধৰ।
5 And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac.
৫অব্ৰাহামে নিজৰ সৰ্ব্বস্বৰ ওপৰত ইচহাকক অধিকাৰ দিলে।
6 But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.
৬কিন্তু উপপত্নীৰ সন্তান সকলকো তেওঁ জীৱিত কালত অলপ অলপ দানস্বৰূপে দিলে। এই সন্তান সকলক তেওঁ তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ ইচহাকৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা দূৰ কৰি পূবফালৰ দেশলৈ পঠাই দিলে।
7 And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years.
৭অব্ৰাহাম মুঠ 175 বছৰ জীয়াই আছিল।
8 Then Abraham gave up the spirit, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.
৮অব্ৰাহামে সম্পূৰ্ণ আয়ুস পাই এক উত্তম বৃদ্ধ অৱস্থাত মৃত্যু বৰণ কৰিলে আৰু তেওঁ ওপৰ পিতৃসকলৰ ওচৰলৈ গ’ল।
9 And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre;
৯মম্ৰি চহৰৰ পূব ফালে হিত্তীয়া চোহৰৰ পুত্র ইফ্রোণৰ পথাৰত মকপেলাৰ গুহাত পুত্ৰ ইচহাক আৰু ইশ্মায়েলে একেলগে অব্রাহামক মৈদাম দিলে।
10 The field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.
১০সেই পথাৰ অব্ৰাহামে হেতৰ সন্তানসকলৰ পৰা কিনিছিল; তাতেই অব্ৰাহামে চাৰাক মৈদাম দিছিল আৰু তাতে অব্ৰাহামকো মৈদাম দিয়া হ’ল।
11 And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi.
১১অব্ৰাহামৰ মৃত্যুৰ পাছত ঈশ্বৰে তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ ইচহাকক আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিলে; আৰু ইচহাকে বেৰ-লহয়-ৰোৱীৰ ওচৰত বসবাস কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
12 Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham:
১২চাৰাৰ দাসী মিচৰীয়া হাগাৰে অব্ৰাহামলৈ যি পুত্ৰ জন্ম দিছিল, অব্ৰাহামৰ সেই পুত্ৰ ইশ্মায়েলৰ বংশৰ বিৱৰণ এই।
13 And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
১৩জন্ম অনুসাৰে ইশ্মায়েলৰ বংশধৰসকলৰ নাম হ’ল: ইশ্মায়েলৰ জ্যেষ্ঠ পুত্ৰ নবায়োৎ, তেওঁৰ পাছত কেদৰ, অদবেল, মিবচম,
14 And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,
১৪মিস্মা, দুমা, মচ্ছা
15 Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:
১৫হদদ, তেমা, যটূৰ, নাফীচ আৰু কেদ্মা;
16 These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.
১৬ইশ্মায়েলৰ এই বাৰজন পুত্রই আছিল তেওঁলোকৰ ফৈদৰ মূলসূঁতি আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ নাম অনুসাৰেই গাওঁ আৰু ছাউনিবোৰৰ নাম ৰখা হৈছিল।
17 And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the spirit and died; and was gathered unto his people.
১৭ইশ্মায়েল 137 বছৰ জীয়াই আছিল। পাছত তেওঁ মৃত্যু বৰণ কৰিলে আৰু নিজৰ মৃত পূর্বপুৰুষসকলৰ ওচৰলৈ তেওঁক নিয়া হ’ল।
18 And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as you go toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren.
১৮হবীলাৰ পৰা চূৰ পর্যন্ত যি ঠাই আছিল, তেওঁৰ বংশৰ লোকসকলে তাতে বাস কৰিছিল। এই ঠাইখিনি আছিল মিচৰ দেশৰ কাষত অচুৰলৈ যোৱাৰ পথত। এইদৰে তেওঁলোকে নিজৰ শত্রুসকলৰ ওচৰত বসতি কৰিবলৈ ঠাই পালে।
19 And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son: Abraham brings forth Isaac:
১৯অব্ৰাহামৰ পুত্ৰ ইচহাকৰ বিৱৰণ এই। অব্ৰাহামৰ পুত্রৰ নাম ইচহাক।
20 And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.
২০ইচহাকে চল্লিশ বছৰ বয়সত ৰিবেকাক পত্নীৰূপে গ্রহণ কৰে। ৰিবেকা আছিল পদ্দন-অৰাম দেশৰ অৰামীয়া বথোৱেলৰ জীয়েক আৰু অৰামীয়া লাবনৰ ভনীয়েক।
21 And Isaac implored the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was implored of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
২১ইচহাকৰ ভাৰ্যা নিঃসন্তান আছিল বাবে ইচহাকে তেওঁৰ বাবে যিহোৱাৰ ওচৰত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিলে; তাতে যিহোৱাই তেওঁৰ প্ৰাৰ্থনা শুনিলে আৰু তেওঁৰ ভাৰ্যা ৰিবেকা গৰ্ভৱতী হ’ল।
22 And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.
২২তেওঁৰ গর্ভত যমজ সন্তান আছিল আৰু সিহঁতে ইটোৱে সিটোক ঠেলা-ঠেলি কৰিব ধৰিলে; সেয়ে ৰিবেকাই ক’লে, “মোৰ কিয় এনেকুৱা হৈছে?” এইবুলি কাৰণটোনো কি তাক জানিবলৈ তেওঁ যিহোৱাক সুধিবলৈ গ’ল।
23 And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in your womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from your bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
২৩যিহোৱাই তেওঁক ক’লে, “তোমাৰ গৰ্ভত দুটা ভিন্ন জাতি আছে, আৰু তোমাৰ উদৰৰ পৰাই দুই জাতি বাহিৰ হৈ বেলেগ হ’ব; এক জাতি আন জাতিতকৈ পৰাক্ৰমী হ’ব, আৰু বৰটো সৰুটোৰ দাস হ’ব।”
24 And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
২৪যেতিয়া সন্তান প্ৰসৱৰ কাল সম্পূৰ্ণ হ’ল, সঁচাই তেওঁৰ গৰ্ভত এহাল যঁজা সন্তান আছিল।
25 And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
২৫তাৰে প্ৰথমটো ৰঙা আৰু গোটেই গা নোমাল বস্ত্ৰৰ নিচিনা নোমাল হৈ ওলাল; এই কাৰণে তেওঁলোকে তাৰ নাম এচৌ ৰাখিলে।
26 And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.
২৬তাৰ পাছত এচৌৰ গোৰোৱা ধৰা অৱস্থাৰে তাৰ ভায়েকৰ জন্ম হ’ল; তাৰ নাম যাকোব ৰখা হ’ল। ইচহাকৰ ষাঠি বছৰ বয়সত তেওঁৰ ভার্য্যাই সিহঁতক জন্ম দিলে।
27 And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
২৭এই ল’ৰা দুটি ডাঙৰ হোৱাৰ পাছত এচৌ এজন নিপুণ চিকাৰী হ’ল। তেওঁ বনে বনে ঘূৰি ফুৰিছিল। কিন্তু যাকোব আছিল শান্ত স্বভাৱৰ। তেওঁ তম্বুত থাকিয়েই সময় কটাইছিল।
28 And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.
২৮চিকাৰ কৰা মঙহ খাবলৈ পোৱাৰ কাৰণে ইচহাকে এচৌক স্নেহ কৰিছিল, কিন্তু ৰিবেকাই হ’লে যাকোবকহে স্নেহ কৰিছিল।
29 And Jacob cook pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:
২৯এদিনাখন যাকোবে দাইল ৰান্ধিছিল; তেনে সময়তে এচৌ পথাৰৰ পৰা উলটি আহিছিল আৰু তেওঁ বৰ ক্লান্ত হৈ পৰিছিল।
30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray you, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
৩০তেওঁ যাকোবক ক’লে, “মই বৰ ক্লান্ত। অনুগ্রহ কৰি তোমাৰ সেই ৰঙা বস্তুৰ কিছু মোক খাবলৈ দিয়া।” এই কথাৰ কাৰণে এচৌৰ নাম ইদোম [ৰঙা] হ’ল।
31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day your birthright.
৩১তেতিয়া যাকোবে ক’লে, “প্রথমে ডাঙৰ ল’ৰা হিচাবে তোমাৰ যি অধিকাৰ আছে, সেয়া আজি মোক বেচা।”
32 And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
৩২তাতে, এচৌৱে ক’লে, “চোৱা, মোৰ প্রাণ যাওঁ যাওঁ যেন হৈছে, সেয়ে জেষ্ঠাধিকাৰত মোৰ কি লাভ?”
33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he swore unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
৩৩যাকোবে ক’লে, “আগেয়ে তুমি মোৰ আগত শপত খোৱা।” তাতে এচৌৱে তেওঁৰ আগত শপত খাই নিজৰ জেষ্ঠাধিকাৰ যাকোবক বেচিলে।
34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
৩৪তেতিয়া যাকোবে এচৌক পিঠা আৰু মচুৰ দাইল খাবলৈ দিলে; তাতে তেওঁ খাই উঠি গুচি গ’ল। এইদৰে এচৌৱে নিজৰ জেষ্ঠাধিকাৰ হেয়জ্ঞান কৰিলে।
