Ezekiel 36

1 Also, you son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, All of you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD:

“மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ இஸ்ரயேல் மலைகளுக்கு இறைவாக்கு உரைத்துச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது, ‘இஸ்ரயேலின் மலைகளே! யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்.

2 Thus says the Lord GOD; Because the enemy has said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:

ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. “ஆகா, முற்காலத்து உயர்ந்த மலைகள் எங்கள் உடைமைகளாயிற்றே என்று பகைவர்கள் உங்களைப் பார்த்துச் சொன்னார்களல்லவோ?”’

3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that all of you might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and all of you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an ill repute of the people:

ஆகவே மனுபுத்திரனே நீ இஸ்ரயேல் மலைகளுக்கு இறைவாக்கு உரைத்துச் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது, ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. உங்கள் பகைவர்கள் உங்களைக் கொள்ளையடித்து, ஒவ்வொரு திசைகளிலுமிருந்து உங்களைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து துரத்தியபடியால், நீங்கள் மற்ற நாடுகளின் உடைமையாகி, மக்களின் தீங்கான பேச்சுக்கும் அவதூறுக்கும் ஆளானீர்கள்.

4 Therefore, all of you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;

ஆகையால் இஸ்ரயேலின் மலைகளே, ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள். மலைகள், குன்றுகள், கணவாய்கள், பள்ளத்தாக்குகள், இடிபாடுகள் ஆகியவற்றிற்கும் உங்களைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற நாடுகளால் கொள்ளையடிக்கப்பட்டு, கேலிக்கிடமாக்கப்பட்ட, பட்டணங்களுக்கும் ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுகிறார்.

5 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.

ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: நான் என் பற்றியெரியும் வைராக்கியத்தில் மீதியான நாடுகளுக்கும், முழு ஏதோமுக்கும் விரோதமாகப் பேசினேன். ஏனெனில், என் நாட்டிலுள்ள மேய்ச்சல் நிலங்களைக் கொள்ளையிடுவதற்காக அவர்கள் மகிழ்வோடும், கர்வத்தோடும் என் நாட்டைத் தங்கள் உரிமையாக்கிக்கொண்டார்கள்.’

6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because all of you have borne the shame of the heathen:

ஆகவே நீ இஸ்ரயேல் நாட்டைக்குறித்து இறைவாக்குரைத்து, மலைகளுக்கும், குன்றுகளுக்கும், ஆறுகளுக்கும், பள்ளத்தாக்குகளுக்கும் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது, ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: நீங்கள் பிறநாட்டினரின் அவமானத்தைச் சுமந்தபடியினால், நான் எனது வைராக்கியத்தினாலும், கடுங்கோபத்தினாலும் பேசுகிறேன்.

7 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.

ஆகவே, ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: உண்மையாகவே உங்களைச் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கும் பல நாடுகளும் தங்களுடைய அவமானத்தை நிச்சயமாய் சுமப்பார்கள் என நான் என் உயர்த்திய கரத்தால் ஆணையிடுகிறேன்.

8 But all of you, O mountains of Israel, all of you shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.

“‘ஆனால், இஸ்ரயேலின் மலைகளே, நீங்களோ என் மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரயேலருக்குக் கிளைகளைப் பரப்பி, பழங்களையும் விளைவிப்பீர்கள். ஏனெனில் அவர்கள் சீக்கிரமாக வீடுதிரும்புவார்கள்.

9 For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and all of you shall be tilled and sown:

பாருங்கள்! நான் உங்களில் அக்கறைகொண்டுள்ளேன். நான் உங்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்ய வருவேன். உங்கள் நிலங்களும் உழப்பட்டு விதைக்கப்படும்.

10 And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be built:

மேலும் நான் உங்களிலுள்ள மக்களையும், முழு இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பத்தாரையும் ஏராளமாகப் பெருகப்பண்ணுவேன். நகரங்கள் குடியிருப்பாகும். இடிபாடுகள் மீண்டும் கட்டப்படும்.

11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

உங்களிலுள்ள மனிதர்களையும், மிருகங்களையும் எண்ணிக்கையில் பெருகப்பண்ணுவேன். அவர்கள் விருத்தியுள்ளவர்களாய்ப் பெருகுவார்கள். மிருகங்களும் பெருகும். முன்பு இருந்ததுபோலவே மக்களை உங்களில் குடியிருக்கப்பண்ணி, உங்களை முந்தின சிறப்பைவிட செழிப்புள்ளவர்களாக்குவேன். அப்பொழுது நானே யெகோவா என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.

12 Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no more henceforth bereave them of men.

மக்களை, என் மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரயேலரை உங்கள் மேலாக நடக்கும்படி செய்வேன். அவர்கள் உங்களை உரிமையாக்கிக்கொள்வார்கள். நீங்கள் அவர்களின் உரிமைச் சொத்தாவீர்கள். இனியொருபோதும் நீங்கள் அவர்களைப் பிள்ளையற்றவர்களாக்க மாட்டீர்கள்.

13 Thus says the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you, You land devour up men, and have bereaved your nations:

“‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: இஸ்ரயேல் நாடு தனது சொந்த மனிதரை விழுங்கி, “தன் நாட்டைப் பிள்ளையற்றதாக்குகிறது என்பதாக மக்கள் உங்களைக் குறித்துச் சொல்கிறார்கள்”

14 Therefore you shall devour men no more, neither bereave your nations any more, says the Lord GOD.

ஆகையால் இனிமேல் நீங்கள் மனிதரை விழுங்கவோ அல்லது உங்கள் நாட்டைப் பிள்ளையற்றதாக்கவோ மாட்டீர்கள் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.

15 Neither will I cause men to hear in you the shame of the heathen any more, neither shall you bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shall you cause your nations to fall any more, says the Lord GOD.

நான் உங்களை இனிமேல் நாடுகளின் பழிச்சொல்லைக் கேட்கச்செய்யமாட்டேன். மக்கள் கூட்டங்களின் ஏளனத்தால் இனி நீங்கள் வேதனையடைவதுமில்லை. அல்லது உங்கள் நாட்டை நான் விழப்பண்ணப்போவதுமில்லை என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.’”

16 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

மீண்டும் யெகோவாவினுடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது.

17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.

“மனுபுத்திரனே, இஸ்ரயேல் மக்கள் தம் சொந்த நாட்டில் வாழும்போது, அவர்கள் அதைத் தங்கள் நடத்தைகளினாலும், செயல்களினாலும் அசுத்தப்படுத்தினார்கள். எனது பார்வையில் அவர்களின் நடத்தை பெண்ணின் மாத விலக்குபோல் இருந்தது.

18 Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:

அவர்கள் தங்கள் நாட்டில் இரத்தம் சிந்தியதாலும், நாட்டைத் தங்கள் விக்கிரகங்களால் அசுத்தப்படுத்தியதாலும், நான் என் கோபத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் ஊற்றினேன்.

19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.

நான் அவர்களை நாடுகளுக்குள்ளும் சிதறப்பண்ணினேன். அவர்கள் தேசங்களுக்கிடையே கலைந்துபோனார்கள். அவர்கள் நடத்தைகளுக்கும், செயல்களுக்கும் தக்கதாக நான் அவர்களை நியாயந்தீர்த்தேன்.

20 And when they entered unto the heathen, where they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.

நாடுகளின் மத்தியில் அவர்கள் எங்கெங்கு சென்றார்களோ, அங்கெல்லாம் என் பரிசுத்த பெயரை அசுத்தப்படுத்தினார்கள். ஏனெனில் ‘இவர்கள் யெகோவாவினுடைய மக்கள், என்றாலும் இவர்கள் அவருடைய நாட்டைவிட்டு வெளியேற வேண்டியிருந்தது’ என்பதாக அவர்களைக் குறித்துச் சொல்லப்பட்டது.

21 But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, where they went.

இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பத்தார் சென்றிருந்த நாடுகளின் மத்தியில் அவர்கள் அசுத்தப்படுத்திய எனது பரிசுத்த பெயரைக்குறித்து நான் அக்கறையாயிருந்தேன்.

22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus says the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which all of you have profaned among the heathen, where all of you went.

“ஆதலால், இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பத்திற்கு நீ கூறவேண்டியதாவது: ‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே: இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பத்தாரே! இக்காரியங்களை நான் செய்யப்போவது உங்கள் நிமித்தமல்ல, என் பரிசுத்த பெயரின் நிமித்தமே. என் பெயரையே நீங்கள் போன நாடுகளுக்குள் எல்லாம் அசுத்தப்படுத்தினீர்கள்.

23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which all of you have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, says the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

நாடுகளின் மத்தியில் அசுத்தப்படுத்தப்பட்டதும், அவர்கள் மத்தியில் நீங்கள் அசுத்தப்படுத்தியதுமான என் மகத்துவமான பெயரின் பரிசுத்தத்தை நான் காண்பிப்பேன். அவர்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக, உங்கள் மூலமாக நான் என்னைப் பரிசுத்தராய்க் காண்பிப்பேன். அப்பொழுது நானே யெகோவா என்பதை நாடுகள் அறிந்துகொள்ளும் என ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.

24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

“‘நான் உங்களை நாடுகளிலிருந்து வெளியே கொண்டுவருவேன். எல்லா நாடுகளிருந்தும் உங்களை நான் கூட்டிச்சேர்த்து, மீண்டும் உங்கள் சொந்த நாட்டுக்குக் கொண்டுவருவேன்.

25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and all of you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

சுத்தமான தண்ணீரை நான் உங்கள்மீது தெளிப்பேன். நீங்கள் சுத்தமடைவீர்கள். உங்கள் எல்லா அசுத்தங்களிலிருந்தும், உங்கள் சகல விக்கிரகங்களிலிருந்தும் நான் உங்களைச் சுத்தமாக்குவேன்.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

நான் உங்களுக்குப் புதியதோர் இருதயத்தைக் கொடுப்பேன். ஒரு புதிய ஆவியையும் கொடுப்பேன். கல்லான உங்கள் இருதயத்தை நீக்கிவிட்டு, சதையான இருதயத்தைக் கொடுப்பேன்.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and all of you shall keep my judgments, and do them.

மேலும் நான் என் ஆவியானவரை உங்களுக்குள் இருக்கும்படி செய்து, நீங்கள் என் சட்டங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளக் கவனமாயிருக்கவும், என் விதிமுறைகளைப் பின்பற்றவும் செய்வேன்.

28 And all of you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and all of you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

உங்கள் முற்பிதாக்களுக்கு நான் கொடுத்த நாட்டில் நீங்கள் வசிப்பீர்கள். நீங்கள் என் மக்களாயிருப்பீர்கள், நான் உங்கள் இறைவனாயிருப்பேன்.

29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

உங்களுடைய சகல அசுத்தங்களிலிருந்தும் உங்களை நான் விடுவிப்பேன். நான் தானியத்தை விளையச்செய்து, பெருகப்பண்ணி, உங்கள்மீது பஞ்சம் வராதிருக்கப்பண்ணுவேன்.

30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that all of you shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

நீங்கள் நாடுகளின் மத்தியில் இனியொருபோதும் பஞ்சத்தினால் வாடும் அவமானத்திற்குள்ளாகாதபடி, மரங்களின் பழங்களையும், வயலின் விளைச்சல்களையும் பெருகப்பண்ணுவேன்.

31 Then shall all of you remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் உங்கள் பழைய தீயவழிகளையும், கொடிய செயல்களையும் நினைவுகூர்ந்து, உங்கள் பாவங்களுக்காகவும் அருவருக்கத்தக்க செயல்களுக்காகவும் உங்களை வெறுப்பீர்கள்.

32 Not for your sakes do I this, says the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

நான் இவ்வாறு செய்யப்போவது நீங்கள் இதற்குத் தகுதியுடையவர்கள் என்பதற்காக அல்ல என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும் என நான் விரும்புகிறேன் என்பதாக ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார். இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பத்தாரே! உங்கள் நடத்தையினிமித்தம் வெட்கித்து அவமானமடையுங்கள்.

33 Thus says the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be built.

“‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. உங்கள் எல்லா பாவங்களிலிருந்தும் நான் உங்களைச் சுத்திகரிக்கும் நாளிலே, உங்கள் பட்டணங்களில் குடியேறச்செய்வேன். இடிபாடுகளெல்லாம் மீண்டும் கட்டப்படும்.

34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.

பாழாக்கப்பட்ட இடங்கள் அதைக் கடந்துசெல்வோர் அனைவரது பார்வையிலும், பாழாய்க்கிடப்பதற்குப் பதிலாகப் பயிரிடப்பட்டதாயிருக்கும்.

35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.

“பாழாக்கப்பட்டிருந்த இந்நாடு ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தைப் போலாயிற்று. பாழாக்கப்பட்டும் அழிக்கப்பட்டும் பாழிடங்களாய்க் கிடந்த பட்டணங்கள், இப்பொழுது காவலரண் செய்யப்பட்ட குடியிருப்புகளாகிவிட்டன என்று சொல்வார்கள்.”

36 Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

அப்பொழுது அழிக்கப்பட்டதைத் திரும்பவும் கட்டியதும், பாழாய்க் கிடந்ததை திரும்பவும் பயிரிட்டதும் யெகோவாவாகிய நானே என்பதை உன்னைச்சூழ இருக்கும் நாடுகள் அறிந்துகொள்ளும். யெகோவாவாகிய நானே இதைக் கூறினேன்; நானே இதைச் செய்வேன்.’

37 Thus says the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

“ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. இஸ்ரயேலின் வேண்டுதலுக்கு இன்னொருமுறையும் நான் இடமளித்து அவர்களுக்காக இதைச் செய்வேன். அவர்களுடைய மக்களைச் செம்மறியாடுகள்போல எண்ணற்றவர்களாக்குவேன்.

38 As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

பண்டிகைக் காலத்தில் எருசலேமுக்குக் கொண்டுவரப்படும் பலிக்கான மந்தைகளைப்போல், அவர்கள் எண்ணற்றவர்களாயிருப்பார்கள். பாழாக்கப்பட்ட பட்டணங்கள் இவ்விதமாய் மக்கள் திரளால் நிரப்பப்படும். அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் நானே யெகோவா என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்றார்.”
