< Ezekiel 27 >
1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
Tena neno la Yahwe likanijia, kusema,
2 Now, you son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;
“Sasa wewe, mwanadamu, anza kuomboleza kuhusiana na Tiro,
3 And say unto Tyrus, O you that are situated at the entry of the sea, which are a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus says the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, you have said, I am of perfect beauty.
na mwambie Tiro, aishiye kwenye malango ya bahari, manahodha wa watu hata visiwa vingi, Bwana Yahwe asema hivi kwako: Tiro, umesema, mimi ni ukamilifu katika uzuri.'
4 Your borders are in the midst of the seas, your builders have perfected your beauty.
Mipaka yako iko kwenye moyo wa bahari; majengo yako yamekamilisha uzuri wako.
5 They have made all your ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for you.
Wametengeneza mbao nene na pana kwa mvinje kutoka Mlima Hermoni; wamechukua mkangazi kutoka Lebanoni kuufanya mlingoti.
6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made your oars; the company of the Ashurites have made your benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.
Wametengeneza makasia yako kutoka kwenye mialo ya Bashani; wametengeza sitaha zako kwa mbao za mvinje kutoka Kitimu, na wametengeneza kwa pembe.
7 Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which you spread forth to be your sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered you.
Tanga zako zilikuwa za rangi za kitani kutoka Misri ambazo zilikuwa kama beramu!
8 The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were your seamen: your wise men, O Tyrus, that were in you, were your pilots.
Wale waliokuwa wakiishi Sidoni na Arvadi walikuwa wavuta makasia wako; wenye busara wa Tire walikuwa ndani yenu; walikuwa marubani wako.
9 The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in you your repairer of breaches: all the ships of the sea with their seamen were in you to occupy your merchandise.
Mafundistadi wenye uzoefu wa hali ya juu kutoka Gabeli walijaza mishono; meli zote za bahari na mabaharia wao miongoni mwenu walikuwa wakiwabeba manahodha kwaajili ya biashara.
10 They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in your army, your men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in you; they set forth your loveliness.
Uajemi, Ludi, na Putu walikuwa katika jeshi lako, watu wako wa vita. Walining'iniza ngao na chapeo ndani yako; walionyesha uzuri wako.
11 The men of Arvad with your army were upon your walls round about, and the Gammadims (mercenaries) were in your towers: they hanged their shields upon your walls round about; they have made your beauty perfect.
Watu wa Arvadi na Heleki katika jeshi lako walikuwa juu ya kuta zako wamekuzunguka, na watu wa Gamadi walikuwa kwenye minara yako. Walinin'giniza juu ngao zao juu ya kuta zako zote zilizokuzunguka! Wakaukamilisha uzuri wako.
12 Tarshish was your merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in your fairs.
Tarshishi alikuwa mdau wa biashara pamoja nawe kwa sababu ya wingi wa utajiri wako wa kuuza mizigo: fedha, chuma, bati, na risasi. Walinunua na kuuza bidhaa za biashara!
13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were your merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in your market.
Yavani, Tubali, na Mesheki-waliwauza watumwa na katika vitu kutengeneza shaba. Walibeba bidhaa zako.
14 They of the house of Togarmah traded in your fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.
Beth Togarma waliandaa farasi, farasi dume, na nyumbu kama kama bidhaa zako.
15 The men of Dedan were your merchants; many isles were the merchandise of your hand: they brought you for a present horns of ivory and ebony.

16 Syria was your merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of your making: they occupied in your fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.
Shamu alikuwa mchuuzi katika bidhaa zako nyingi; waliandaa zumaridi, zambarau, nguo zenye rangi mbali mbali, kitambaa kizuri, lulu, na kito chekundu cha thamani kama bidhaa zako.
17 Judah, and the land of Israel, they were your merchants: they traded in your market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.
Yuda na nchi ya Israeli walikuwa wafanyabiashara pamoja nawe. Waliandaa ngano kutoka Minithi, keki, asali, mafuta, na lihamu kama bidhaa zako.
18 Damascus was your merchant in the multitude of the wares of your making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.
Dameski alikuwa mfanya biashara wa bidhaa zako zote, za utajiri mkubwa mno, na ya divai ya Helboni na sufu ya Zahari.
19 Dan also and Javan going back and forth occupied in your fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in your market.
Dani na Yavani kutoka Uzali walikwandalia bidhaa ya chuma kilichofuliwa, na mdalasini, na mchai. Hivi vikawa bidhaa yako.
20 Dedan was your merchant in precious clothes for chariots.
Dedani alikuwa mchuuzi katika nguo nzuri za kutandika.
21 Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with you in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they your merchants.
Arabuni na wakuu wote wa Kedari walikuwa wafanyabiashara pamoja nawe; walikuandalia wanakondoo, kondoo dume na mbuzi.
22 The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were your merchants: they occupied in your fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.
Wafanya biashara wa Sheba na Raama walikuja kukuuzia kila aina ya viungo vizuri katika vito vyote vya thamani; waliuza dhahabu kwa ajili ya bidhaa.
23 Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were your merchants.
Harani, Kane, na Adina walikuwa wafanya biashara pamoja nawe, karibu na Sheba, Ashuru, na Kilmadi.
24 These were your merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among your merchandise.
Hawa walikuwa wachuuzi wako mapambo ya joho ya nguo za urujuani pamoja na rangi zilibuniwa, na nguo zilizo sanifiwa vizuri katika sehemu zako za soko.
25 The ships of Tarshish did sing of you in your market: and you were replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.
Merikebu za Tarshishi zilikuwa misafara ya bidhaa yako! Hivyo ulijaa, shehena nzito katika moyo wa bahari!
26 Your rowers have brought you into great waters: the east wind has broken you in the midst of the seas.
Wapiga makasia wako walikuleta kwenye bahari kuu mno; upepo wa mashariki umekuvunja kati yao.
27 Your riches, and your fairs, your merchandise, your seamen, and your pilots, your repairer of breaches, and the occupiers of your merchandise, and all your men of war, that are in you, and in all your company which is in the midst of you, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of your ruin.
Utajiri wako, bidhaa, na mizigo ya biashara; wapiga makasia wako na marubani, na waunzi wa meli; wafanya biashara wako wa bidhaa na watu wote wa vita walio ndani yako, na jeshi lako-watazama kwenye kina cha bahari siku ya kuangamia kwako.
28 The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of your pilots.
Miji iliyopo kwenye bahari sauti itatetemeka kulia kwa rubani zako;
29 And all that handle the oar, the seamen, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;
Wote wavutao kasia watashuka chini kutoka meli katika zao; wanamaji na marubani wote juu ya bahari watasimama juu ya nchi.
30 And shall cause their voice to be heard against you, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:
Kisha watakufanya kusikiliza sauti yao na kulia kwa uchungu; watarusha vumbi juu ya vichwa vyao. Watabingirika katika majivu.
31 And they shall make themselves utterly bald for you, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for you with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.
Watanyo vichwa vyao upara kwa ajili yako na kujifunga wenyewe kwa nguo za magunia, na watalia kwa sauti.
32 And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for you, and lament over you, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?
Watakuinulia maombolezo ya kuomboleza kwa ajili yako na kuimba nyimbo za maombolezo juu yako, ni nani aliye kama Tiro, ambaye sasa ameletwa kunyamazishwa kati ya bahari?
33 When your wares went forth out of the seas, you filled many people; you did enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of your riches and of your merchandise.
Wakati bidhaa yako ilipoenda ufukweni kutoka kwenye bahari, imewarithisha watu wengi; uliwatajirisha wafalme wa dunia kwa wingi wa utajiri wako mkubwa na bidhaa!
34 In the time when you shall be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters your merchandise and all your company in the midst of you shall fall.
Lakini wakati ulipo vunjwavunjwa kwa bahari, kwa vilindi vya maji, bidhaa yako na wafanya kazi wako wote kuzama!
35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at you, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance.
Wote wakaao pwani walikuogopa, na wafalme wao kuvunjwa vunjwa katika kitisho! Nyuso zao zimetetemeka!
36 The merchants among the people shall hiss at you; you shall be a terror, and never shall be any more.
Wafanya biashara wa meli wa watu wakuzomea; umekuwa tishio, na hutakuwepo tena milele.”
