< Ezekiel 27 >

1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
Shoko raJehovha rakasvika kwandiri richiti,
2 Now, you son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;
“Mwanakomana womunhu, chema pamusoro peTire.
3 And say unto Tyrus, O you that are situated at the entry of the sea, which are a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus says the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, you have said, I am of perfect beauty.
Uti kuTire, riri pasuo rokugungwa, mushambadziri wavanhu vamarudzi ose pazviwi zvizhinji, ‘Zvanzi naIshe Jehovha: “‘Unoti, iwe Tire, “Ini ndakakwana parunako.”
4 Your borders are in the midst of the seas, your builders have perfected your beauty.
Simba rako rakanga riri pamakungwa makuru; vavaki vako vakaita kuti runako rwako rusvike pakukwana.
5 They have made all your ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for you.
Vakaita mapuranga ako ose emiti yemipaini inobva kuSeniri; vakatora musidhari waibva kuRebhanoni, kuti vakuitire danda rokutsigira maseiri muchikepe.
6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made your oars; the company of the Ashurites have made your benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.
Vakaita matanda okukwasva nawo omuouki aibva kuBhashani; namapuranga omusipuresi aibva kuzviwi zveSaipurasi vakaita uriri hwako namapuranga, ane nyanga dzenzou mukati.
7 Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which you spread forth to be your sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered you.
Maseiri ako akanga ari omucheka wakarukwa zvakaisvonaka waibva kuIjipiti, uye wakashandiswa somureza wako; zvifukidzo zvako zvamatende zvakanga zviri bhuruu nepepuru, zvaibva kumahombekombe aErisha.
8 The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were your seamen: your wise men, O Tyrus, that were in you, were your pilots.
Varume veSidhoni neArivhadhi ndivo vakanga vari vakwasvi vako; mhizha dzako, iwe Tire dzakanga dzirimo savafambisi vako vechikepe.
9 The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in you your repairer of breaches: all the ships of the sea with their seamen were in you to occupy your merchandise.
Mhare dzoumhizha dzeGebhari vakanga varimo, savavaki vechikepe kuti vaname maburi emaseiri ako. Zvikepe zvose zvegungwa navafambisi vazvo vakauya kuzotengeserana newe zvawakagadzira.
10 They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in your army, your men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in you; they set forth your loveliness.
“‘Varume vokuPezhia, neRidhia nePuti vakashanda savarwi muhondo yako. Vakarembedza nhoo dzavo nenguwani pamasvingo ako, vachikuvigira mbiri.
11 The men of Arvad with your army were upon your walls round about, and the Gammadims (mercenaries) were in your towers: they hanged their shields upon your walls round about; they have made your beauty perfect.
Varume vokuArivhadhi nevokuHereki vakakomba masvingo ako kumativi ose; varume vokuGamadhi vakanga vari mushongwe dzako. Vakaturika nhoo dzavo pamasvingo ako; vakaita kuti runako rwako rukwane.
12 Tarshish was your merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in your fairs.
“‘Tashishi yakatengeserana newe nokuda kwepfuma yako huru yenhumbi; vakatsinhanisa sirivha, nesimbi, netini nedare zvokushambadzira zvako.
13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were your merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in your market.
“‘Girisi, Tubhari neMesheki dzakatengeserana newe; vakatsinhanisa nhapwa nezvinhu zvendarira zvezvigadzirwa zvako.
14 They of the house of Togarmah traded in your fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.
“‘Varume veBheti Togarima vakatsinhanisa mabhiza ebasa namabhiza ehondo namanyurusi kuti uzvishambadzire.
15 The men of Dedan were your merchants; many isles were the merchandise of your hand: they brought you for a present horns of ivory and ebony.
“‘Varume vokuRodhe vakatengeserana newe, uye zviwi zvizhinji zvakanga zviri nzvimbo dzako dzokutengesera; vaikuripira nenyanga dzenzou nomuti womuvanga.
16 Syria was your merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of your making: they occupied in your fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.
“‘Aramu yakatengeserana newe nokuda kwezvibereko zvako zvizhinji; vakatsinhanisa matombo eturikoise nemicheka yepepuru, nezvakarukwa, nemicheka yakaisvonaka, nekorari namatombo amarubhi zvokutengesa zvako.
17 Judah, and the land of Israel, they were your merchants: they traded in your market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.
“‘Judha neIsraeri vakatengeserana newe, vakatsinhanisa gorosi neMiniti nezvinotapira, uchi, mafuta nebharimi nezvigadzirwa zvako.
18 Damascus was your merchant in the multitude of the wares of your making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.
“‘Dhamasiko, rakatengeserana newe nokuda kwezvigadzirwa zvako zvizhinji nepfuma yenhumbi newaini yaibva kuHeribhoni newuru yaibva kuZahari.
19 Dan also and Javan going back and forth occupied in your fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in your market.
“‘VaDhani navaGiriki vaibva kuUzari vakatenga zvawaishambadzira; vakatsinhanisa simbi yakabikwa, nekasia, nekaramo zvigadzirwa zvako.
20 Dedan was your merchant in precious clothes for chariots.
“‘Dhedhani akatengeserana newe machira okugarira pamabhiza.
21 Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with you in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they your merchants.
“‘Arabhia namachinda ose eKedhari vakanga vachikutengera; vakatengeserana newe namakwayana, makondobwe nembudzi.
22 The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were your merchants: they occupied in your fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.
“‘Vashambadziri vokuShebha neRama vakatengeserana newe; pane zvawaishambadzira iwe ivo vakatsinhanisa namarudzi ezvinonhuhwira ose uye namabwe anokosha, negoridhe.
23 Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were your merchants.
“‘Harani, Kane neEdheni navashambadziri vokuShebha, Ashuri neKirimadhi vakatengeserana newe.
24 These were your merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among your merchandise.
Vakatengeserana newe munzvimbo dzokutengesera nguo dzakaisvonaka, dzemicheka yebhuruu, nezvakarukwa, namachira amavara namabote akakoswa uye ane mafundo akasimba.
25 The ships of Tarshish did sing of you in your market: and you were replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.
“‘Zvikepe zveTashishi zvakashanda pakutakura zvigadzirwa zvako. Iwe wakazadzwa nezvitakurwa zvinorema, imo mumwoyo megungwa.
26 Your rowers have brought you into great waters: the east wind has broken you in the midst of the seas.
Vakwasvi vako vanokutora voenda newe kumakungwa makuru. Asi mhepo yokumabvazuva ichakuputsa-putsa mumwoyo megungwa chaimo.
27 Your riches, and your fairs, your merchandise, your seamen, and your pilots, your repairer of breaches, and the occupiers of your merchandise, and all your men of war, that are in you, and in all your company which is in the midst of you, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of your ruin.
Pfuma yako, nenhumbi dzokutengesa nezvakagadzirwa, varayiri navafambisi vako vezvikepe navagadziri vazvo, vashambadziri vako nevarwi vako vose, uye vose varimo vachanyura mukati momwoyo wegungwa, pazuva rokuparadzwa kwechikepe chako.
28 The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of your pilots.
Nyika dzokumahombekombe dzichadengenyeka panodanidzira vafambisi vako vezvikepe.
29 And all that handle the oar, the seamen, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;
Vose vanobata matanda okukwasva vachasiya zvikepe zvavo; vachairi nevafambisi vako vezvikepe vachamira kumahombekombe.
30 And shall cause their voice to be heard against you, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:
Vachadanidzira namanzwi avo vagochema zvikuru pamusoro pako; vachakusha guruva pamisoro yavo vagoumburuka mumadota.
31 And they shall make themselves utterly bald for you, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for you with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.
Vachaveura misoro yavo nokuda kwako, uye vachapfeka nguo dzamasaga. Vachachema pamusoro pako nokurwadza kwomwoyo, uye nokuchema kukuru.
32 And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for you, and lament over you, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?
Pavanoungudza nokuchema pamusoro pako, vachachema pamusoro pako vachiti, “Ndianiko akashaya rokureva seTire, rakakomberedzwa negungwa?”
33 When your wares went forth out of the seas, you filled many people; you did enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of your riches and of your merchandise.
Pakabuda vashambadziri vako vachienda kugungwa, wakagutisa ndudzi zhinji, nepfuma yako huru uye nenhumbi dzako, wakapfumisa madzimambo enyika.
34 In the time when you shall be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters your merchandise and all your company in the midst of you shall fall.
Zvino wakaputsanyiwa negungwa mumvura zhinji yakadzika; nhumbi dzako navanhu vako vose zvakanyura pamwe chete newe.
35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at you, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance.
Vose vanogara mumahombekombe vanoshamiswa newe; madzimambo avo anodedera nokutya, uye zviso zvavo zvakanganiswa nokutyiswa.
36 The merchants among the people shall hiss at you; you shall be a terror, and never shall be any more.
Vashambadziri vari pakati pendudzi vanokuridzira muridzo; wasvika kumagumo anonyangadza uye hauchazovapozve.’”
