Acts 6
1 And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.
୧ସେ ବେଲା, ବେସି ଜିଉଦି ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଜିସୁର୍ ସିସ୍ ଅଇ ଆଇଲାଇ । ଗିରିକ୍ ବାସା କଇତେରଇବା ଜିଉଦିମନ୍, ଏବ୍ରି ବାସା କଇତେରଇବା ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ବିରୁଦେ କାତା ଉଟାଇଲାଇ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଗିରିକ୍ ବାସାଇ କାତା ଅଇବା ଜିଉଦିମନ୍, ରାଣ୍ଡିମନ୍କେ ଦିନ୍କର୍ କାଦି ବାଟା କଲାବେଲେ ତାକର୍ ରାଣ୍ଡିମନ୍କେ ଏଲା କର୍ତେରଇଲାଇ ପନି ।
2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word (logos) of God, and serve tables.
୨ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ବାର୍ଟା ପେରିତ୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ସବୁ ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍କେ ରୁଣ୍ଡାଇକରି କଇଲାଇ, “କାଇବାଟା ବାଟାକର୍ବାର୍ ଆଚେ ବଲିକରି ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ବାକିଅ ସିକାଇବାଟା ଜଦି ଆମେ ଏଲା କର୍ବୁ ବଇଲେ ସେଟା ନିକ ବିସଇ ନଏଁ ।
3 Wherefore, brethren, look all of you out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Spirit (pneuma) and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
୩ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ଏ ବାଇବଇନିମନ୍, ତମର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି ସୁକଲ୍ଆତ୍ମାଇ ଆରି ଗିଆନେ ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ଅଇରଇବା ଲକ୍ ବଲି ସବୁଲକ୍ ଜାନିରଇବା ସାତ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ବାଚା । ଆମେ ସେମନ୍କେ ଏ ସବୁ ବିସଇ କର୍ବାକେ ଦାଇତ୍ ଦେବୁ ।
4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. (logos)
୪ସେନ୍ତାର୍ ଆଲେ ପାର୍ତନା ଆରି ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ବାକିଅ ସିକାଇବାକେ ଆମେ ସବୁ ଦିଆନ୍ ଦେଇପାରିଅଇସି ।”
5 And the saying (logos) pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, (pneuma) and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
୫ଦଲର୍ ସବୁ ଲକ୍ ପେରିତ୍ ସିସ୍ମନର୍ କଇଲା କାତାଇ ରାଜିଅଇଲାଇ, ଆରି ଏ କାମ୍ କର୍ବାକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ ଆରି ସୁକଲ୍ ଆତ୍ମାଇ ପୁରୁନ୍ ଅଇରଇବା ତିପାନ୍ ନାଉଁର୍ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍, ଆରି ପିଲିପ୍, ପକ୍ରସ୍, ନିକାନର, ତିମନ୍, ପର୍ମନା ଆରି ଆଗେ ଜିଉଦି ଦରମ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରିରଇବା, ଆନ୍ଟିକିୟଇ ଅନି ଆସିରଇବା ଗଟେକ୍ ଜିଉଦି ନ ଅଇଲା, ନିକଲାୟକେ ବାଚ୍ଲାଇ ।
6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.
୬ବିସ୍ବାସିମନ୍ ଏ ସାତ୍ଲକ୍କେ ପେରିତ୍ମନର୍ ଲଗେ ଆନ୍ଲାଇ । ସେମନ୍କେ, ଆତ୍ ସଙ୍ଗଇ ପାର୍ତନା କଲାଇ ।
7 And the word (logos) of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
୭ଏନ୍ତାରି ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ବାକିଅ ଗୁଲାଇବାଟର୍ ଲକ୍ ସୁନ୍ଲାଇ । ଜିରୁସାଲମେ ଅଦିକ୍ ଅଦିକ୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ବଡ୍ବାର୍ ଦାର୍ଲାଇ, ବେସି ପୁଜାରିମନ୍ ମିସା ଜିସୁକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲାଇ ।
8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.
୮ପର୍ମେସର୍ଟାନେ ବେସି ଆସିର୍ବାଦ୍ ପାଇ ଆରି ବପୁ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ପୁରୁନ୍ ଅଇରଇବା ତିପାନ୍, ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ବେସି ନ ଅଇବା କାମ୍ମନ୍, କାବା ଅଇଜିବା କାମ୍ମନ୍ ସାଦନ୍ କଲା ।
9 Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.
୯ମାତର୍ କେତେଲକ୍ ତାକେ ବିରଦ୍ କଲାଇ । ଏମନ୍ ଗତି କଟ୍ବାତେଇଅନି, ମୁକ୍ଲିରଇବା ଜିଉଦିମନ୍କେ ନେଇ, ଅଇରଇବା ପାର୍ତନା ଗରର୍ କେତେ ଲକ୍, ସେମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି କେତେଲକ୍ ସାରିଆ ଅନି, କେତେକ୍ ଆଲେକ୍ଜାଣ୍ଡ୍ରିଆ ଅନି । ସେମନ୍ ସିଲିସିଆ ଅନି ଆରି ଆସିଆଇଅନି ଆସିରଇବା ବିନ୍ ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ମିସିକରି ତିପାନର୍ ବିରଦେ ଦଦାପେଲା ଅଇଲାଇ ।
10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit (pneuma) by which he spoke.
୧୦ମାତର୍ ସୁକଲ୍ ଆତ୍ମା ତିପାନ୍କେ ଏନ୍ତି ଗିଆନ୍ ଦେଲାଜେ, କେମିସା ତାର୍ କାତା ଚାଡାଇକରି କଇ ନାପାର୍ତେ ରଇଲାଇ ।
11 Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words (rhema) against Moses, and against God.
୧୧ଏଲେମିସା ସେ “ମସାର୍ ବିରଦେ ଆରି ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ବିରଦେ କାତା କଇବାଟା ଆମେ ସୁନ୍ଲୁ ।” ବଲି, ଏ ମିଚ୍ ସାକି ଦେବାକେ କେତେ ଲକ୍କେ ଲାଁଚ୍ ଦେଇ ଉସ୍କାଇଲାଇ ।
12 And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,
୧୨ଏନ୍ତାରିକରି ସେମନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ, ପାର୍ଚିନ୍ମନ୍ ଆରି ସାସ୍ତର୍ ସିକାଉମନ୍କେ ରିସା ଅଇବା କାତା କଇଲାଇ । ଆରି ତିପାନ୍କେ ଦାରି ବଡ୍ସବାଇ ନେଲାଇ ।
13 And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceases not to speak blasphemous words (rhema) against this holy place, and the law:
୧୩ତାର୍ ପଚେ ସେମନ୍ ତାର୍ ବିରୁଦେ ମିଚ୍ ସାକି ଦେବାକେ କେତେଟା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ବିତ୍ରେ ଆନ୍ଲାଇ । ସେମନ୍ କଇଲାଇ, “ଏ ଲକ୍ ସବୁବେଲେ ଆମର୍ ସୁକଲ୍ ମନ୍ଦିର୍ ଆରି ମସାର୍ ରିତିନିତି ବିରୁଦେ ନିନ୍ଦା କାତା କଇବୁଲ୍ଲାଇନି ।
14 For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.
୧୪ନାଜରିତର୍ ଜିସୁ ମନ୍ଦିର୍ ବାଙ୍ଗାଇ ପାକାଇସି ଆରି ଆମେ ମସାର୍ ଟାନେଅନି ପାଇ ରଇବା ସବୁ ବିଦିବିଦାନ୍ ବାଦ୍ଲାଇ ଦେଇସି ବଲି ଏ ଲକ୍ କଇବାଟା ଆମେ ସୁନି ଆଚୁ ।”
15 And all that sat in the council, looking steadfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.
୧୫ସେଡ୍କି ବେଲେ ବଡ୍ସବାଇ ବସି ରଇବା ସବୁ ଲକ୍ ଆକିଗାଡି ତିପାନର୍ ବାଟେ ଦେକ୍ଲାଇ ଜେ, ଏଦେ ଦେକା! ତାର୍ ମୁ ସରଗର୍ ଦୁତ୍ ପାରା ଡିସ୍ତେ ରଇଲା ।
