< 2 Peter 1 >
1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
Simon Peter, ekjon noukar aru Jisu Khrista laga apostle pora, taikhan ke, jun khan bhi amikhan nisena eke biswas paise, Isor aru Tran-Korta Jisu Khrista laga dharmikta dwara.
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
Asirbad aru shanti apuni khan logote bisi hobole dibi Probhu Jisu aru Isor laga gyaan pora.
3 According as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue:
Kelemane Tai laga mohan takot aru jibon laga bhal kaam khan amikhan ke dise aru etu sob Isor laga gyaan pora he hoise. Tai laga mohima aru asirbad pora amikhan ke mati loise.
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these all of you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Etu dwara, Tai amikhan ke daami aru dangor kosom dise, etu nimite eitu khan saikene amikhan bhi Isor laga shakti te bhag lobo, aru etu prithibi laga biya kaam ki ase, etu pora polaikene thakibo.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
Kintu eitu khan nimite, apuni laga biswas te sob bhal kaam to he anibole bisari bhi; aru bhal kaam te gyaan bhi milai kene chola bhi;
6 And to knowledge wilful restrain; and to wilful restrain patience; and to patience godliness;
gyaan pora nijorke thik pora rakhibi; aru biya kaam pora thik rakhibole nimite nomro hoi kene thakibi; aru nomro hoi kene bhal rasta te jabi;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness love. (agape)
bhal kaam kori kene nijor bhai ke bhi morom koribi; aru bhai khan ke morom koribi.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that all of you shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jodi eitu khan apuni laga bhitor te thake, apuni Probhu Jisu Khrista laga gyaan te kitia bhi khali nathakibo.
9 But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see far off, and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
Kintu kun logote eitu khan nai, tai andha nisena he ase, tai suku komjur thaka nisena ase, tai pahori jaise tai laga poila paap kaam kori kene thaka sob to maph kori dise koi kene.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if all of you do these things, all of you shall never fall:
Etu nimite, bhai khan, apnike ki nimite matise aru basi loise, etu bhal pora sai lobi, jodi apuni khan etu kore, apuni kitia bhi nagiribo.
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (aiōnios )
Etu pora apuni laga jibon bachai diya Probhu Jisu Khrista laga anonto rajyote dhun pora bhorta hoi kene jabole paribo. (aiōnios )
12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though all of you know them, and be established in the present truth.
Etu karone moi apuni khan ke etu kotha khan kobole nimite hodai taiyar thakibo, apuni khan etu janile bhi, aru etiya thaka nisena biswas te thakile bhi.
13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
Moi apuni khan ke etu koi diya to bhal ase, moi jiman din tak etu jagate thakibo, etu kotha khan koi kene apuni ke bhabona kori bole dibo.
14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ has showed me.
Kelemane moi jani ase bisi joldi moi etu jaga to chari bo lagibo, moike Probhu Jisu Khrista pora eitu khan sob to dikhai dise.
15 Moreover I will endeavour that all of you may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
Kintu moi naja age te apuni khan sob monte etu kotha khan rakhi thaki bole nimite.
16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
Kelemane amikhan chalak pora etu kotha khan kowa nai jitia amikhan pora apuni khan ke Probhu Jisu Khrista aru ahibole laga kotha janibole dise, kintu amikhan Tai laga mohan kaam kori diya laga gawah ase.
17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Kelemane Tai Baba Isor pora sonman aru mohima paise jitia Tai logote ekta awaj ahi kene mohima pora koise, “Etu Moi laga morom chokra ase, Tai uporte Moi bisi khushi ase.”
18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
Moi khan nijor hunise etu awaj sorgo pora ahi thaka jitia amikhan Tai logote etu pobitro pahar te thakise.
19 We have also a more sure word (logos) of prophecy; unto which all of you do well that all of you take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
Kelemane etu Isor laga kotha amikhan nimite aru bhi bhal bonai dise, aru apuni khan etu kotha te mon dile apuni nimite bhal hoi thakibo, jitia tak rati khotom nohoi kene aru phojur laga tara apnikhan laga monte naulai.
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
Etu sob pora bhi upor, apuni khan janibole lage Isor laga pobitro kotha to kunba manu laga nijor itcha pora nokoi.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. (pneuma)
Kelemane Isor laga kotha khan manu laga itcha pora ana nai, kintu Isor he manu khan ke koise jitia taikhan Pobitro Atma pora bhorta thakise.
