< 2 Corinthians 3 >
1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
Kamimät kami awhcah bekia mäih lawki aw? Khyang avang hea kba nangmi üngka, am acunüng nangmi üng ngaihsimnaka ca hlü beki aw?
2 All of you are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
Nangmi cun, kami ca, kami mlungmthin üng ng’yuki khyang naküt naw ksing lü ami kheha nami kyaki ni.
3 Forasmuch as all of you are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit (pneuma) of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
Nangmi cun, ca yuknaktui am yuka caa am kya u lü xüngkia Pamhnama Ngmüimkhya am yuka nami kyaki. Lunga khana yuka am kya lü mtisa mlungmthin cauk üng yuk, Khritaw amät naw a yuka ca keimi naw kami lawa ca nami kyaki ti ngsingki.
4 And such trust have we through Christ toward God:
Acukba kami pyenak cun Khritaw üngka Pamhnam üng mlung üpnak kami taka phäha kyaki.
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
Kami mäta khyaihnak am, kami mäta ngaiha iyaw kami bilo theikia am kya. Bilawh thei vaia kami khyaihnak cun Pamhnam üngka naw ni a law ve.
6 Who also has made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: (pneuma) for the letter kills, but the spirit (pneuma) gives life.
Amät kung naw, ngthumkhän kthai khutbi kami bilo khaia jah ngkawihsaki; yuk sawxata ca am kya lü, Ngmüimkhya am kyaki; thum naw thinak lawpüi se ngmüimkhya naw xünak peki.
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraved in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
Lunga khana thum yu lü peta kyase Mhnama hlüngtainak ngdang lawki. Mosia müiha vainak a dim law be üng pi Isarel he naw am teng thei u. Thihnak theia thum pi aktäa hlüngtaikia akya üng,
8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit (pneuma) be rather glorious?
Ngmüimkhya bilawhnak cun ihlawka hlüngtai bawk khai ni?
9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more does the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
Khyang mkatkia khutbinak pi a hlüngtai üng, küikyanak lawpüikia khutbi binak cun ihlawka hlüngtai bawk khai ni.
10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excels.
Anghnua ve lawkia hlüngtainak cun hlüngtai bawkia kyase, a na hlüngtai khawiki cun bäihki.
11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remains is glorious.
Asängca khängki üng pi hlüngtainak a awm khawi üng, angläta khängki üng ta ihlawka hlüngtainak awm ksetam khai ni.
12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
Acukba äpnak awmkia kyase ahmäi üng kami lingki.
13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
Isarel he naw akvai am hmu u lü ami khyühnak vaia Mosi naw a hmai a bua kba keimi naw ta am bilo ve ung.
14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remains the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
Ami mlungmthin ä ngsümkia kyaki; atuh vei cäpa ngthumkhän kphyüm ami kheh üng pi ami mlung ä ngsüm khaia acuna jih am ngbueiki he. Khritaw üng ngpang käna ni acuna bunaka jih cun mkhyüha akya ve.
15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
Atuh cäpa, Mosia yuk ami kheh üng ami mlungmthin bua kya hamki.
16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
Cunsepi, cangcim naw, “Bawipa veia a nghlat la a mlungmthin bunak cun khyüki,” tia Mosia mawng a pyena kba khyük theiki.
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: (pneuma) and where the Spirit (pneuma) of the Lord is, there is liberty.
Hin üng, “Bawipa” cun Ngmüimkhyaa kyaki; Bawipa Ngmüimkhya awmnak naküta lätnak awmki.
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit (pneuma) of the LORD.
Acunakyase, mi hmai cun am ngbuei. Bawipaa ngmüimkhya kung naw ani üng mi täng khaia jah pawhki. Acun naw Bawipaa hlüngtainak akvai cun mdan lü.
