2 Chronicles 20
1 It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle.
| پاش ئەوەی مۆئابی و عەمۆنییەکان کە هەندێک مەعونیشیان لەگەڵ بوو، هاتن بۆ ئەوەی لە دژی یەهۆشافات بجەنگن. |
2 Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There comes a great multitude against you from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi.
| کەسانێک هاتن و بە یەهۆشافاتیان ڕاگەیاند و گوتیان: «سوپایەکی زۆر گەورە لەوبەری دەریای مردووەوە لە ئەدۆمەوە بەڕێکەوتوون بێنە سەرت، وا ئێستا لە حەچەچۆن تامارن» (کە کانی گەدی پێ دەگوترێت). |
3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
| یەهۆشافاتیش ترسا و بڕیاری دا پرسیار لە یەزدان بکات، ئیتر لە هەموو یەهودا ڕۆژووی ڕاگەیاند. |
4 And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the LORD: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD.
| خەڵکی یەهودا کۆبوونەوە بۆ نزا و داواکردنی یارمەتی لە یەزدان، هەروەها لە هەموو شارۆچکەکانی یەهوداوە هاتن هەتا ڕوو لە یەزدان بکەن. |
5 And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court,
| ئینجا یەهۆشافات لەنێو کۆمەڵی یەهودا و ئۆرشەلیم لە پەرستگای یەزدان بەرامبەر بە حەوشە نوێیەکە وەستا و |
6 And said, O LORD God of our fathers, are not you God in heaven? and rule not you over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in your hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand you?
| گوتی: «ئەی یەزدان، خودای باوباپیرانمان، ئایا تۆ ئەو خودایە نیت کە لە ئاسمانە؟ تۆ فەرمانڕەوای هەموو پاشایەتی نەتەوەکانیت. هێز و توانا لە دەستی تۆدایە و کەس نییە خۆی لەبەردەمت ڕابگرێت. |
7 Are not you our God, who did drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel, and gave it to the seed of Abraham your friend for ever?
| ئەی خودامان، ئایا تۆ نەبوویت کە دانیشتووانی ئەم خاکەت لەبەردەم ئیسرائیلی گەلت وەدەرنا و هەتاهەتایە بە وەچەی ئیبراهیمی دۆستی خۆتت دا؟ |
8 And they dwelt therein, and have built you a sanctuary therein for your name, saying,
| تێیدا نیشتەجێ بوون و لەناویدا پیرۆزگایەکیان بۆ ناوت بنیاد نا و گوتیان: |
9 If, when evil comes upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in your presence, (for your name is in this house, ) and cry unto you in our affliction, then you will hear and help.
| ”ئەگەر خراپە بێتە سەرمان، شمشێر و حوکم بەسەردادان و پەتا و قاتوقڕی، لەبەردەم ئەم پەرستگایە و لەبەردەمت ڕادەوەستین، چونکە ئەم پەرستگایە کە هەڵگری ناوی تۆیە و لە تەنگانەماندا هاوارت بۆ دەکەین و گوێت لێ دەبێت و ڕزگارمان دەکەیت.“ |
10 And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom you would not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not;
| «ئێستاش تەماشا بکە، سوپاکانی عەمۆن و مۆئاب و کێوی سێعیر، ئەوانەی ڕێگات بە ئیسرائیل نەدا پەلاماریان بدەن کاتێک لە خاکی میسرەوە هاتن. ئیتر ئیسرائیلیش خۆی لێیان لادا و لەناویان نەبردن. |
11 Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of your possession, which you have given us to inherit.
| ببینە، چۆن ئێستا ئەوان بە خراپە پاداشتمان دەدەنەوە، لەو موڵکە دەرماندەکەن کە تۆ بە میرات پێتداین. |
12 O our God, will you not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that comes against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon you.
| ئەی خودای ئێمە، ئایا حوکمیان بەسەردا نادەیت؟ چونکە ئێمە توانامان نییە بەرامبەر ئەو سوپا زۆر گەورەیەی پەلامارمان دەدەن و ئێمە نازانین چی بکەین بەڵام چاومان لە تۆیە.» |
13 And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.
| هەموو پیاوانی یەهوداش لەبەردەم یەزدان ڕاوەستابوون، هەروەها ژن و منداڵ و کوڕەکانیشیان. |
14 Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation;
| ئینجا لەنێو کۆمەڵەکە ڕۆحی یەزدان هاتە سەر یەحەزیێلی کوڕی زەکەریای کوڕی بەنایای کوڕی یەعیێلی کوڕی مەتەنیای لێڤی لە نەوەی ئاساف. |
15 And he said, Hearken all of you, all Judah, and all of you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you king Jehoshaphat, Thus says the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.
| گوتی: «ئەی هەموو یەهودا و دانیشتووانی ئۆرشەلیم و یەهۆشافاتی پاشا، گوێ بگرن! یەزدان بەم جۆرە بە ئێوە دەفەرموێت:”مەترسن و ورە بەرمەدەن لەبەردەم ئەو سوپا زۆرە، چونکە جەنگەکە هی ئێوە نییە بەڵکو هی خودایە. |
16 Tomorrow go all of you down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and all of you shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.
| سبەینێ دابەزنە سەریان، ئەوان وا لە هەورازەکەی زیز سەردەکەون، لەوپەڕی دەربەندەکە لە بەرامبەر چۆڵەوانی یەروئێل دەیاندۆزنەوە. |
17 All of you shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand all of you still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.
| پێویست ناکات لەم شەڕە بجەنگن. ئەی یەهودا و ئۆرشەلیم، ڕاوەستن و مەجوڵێن و تەماشا بکەن چۆن یەزدان ڕزگارتان دەکات. مەترسن و ورە بەرمەدەن، سبەینێ بۆ بەرەنگاربوونەوەیان بچن و یەزدان لەگەڵتان دەبێت.“» |
18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.
| یەهۆشافات کڕنۆشی برد و سەری خستە سەر زەوی، هەموو یەهودا و دانیشتووانی ئۆرشەلیمیش لەبەردەم یەزدان لەسەر ڕوو کەوتن و کڕنۆشیان برد. |
19 And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high.
| ئینجا لێڤییەکان لە نەوەی قەهاتی و قۆرەحییەکان هەستانەوە بۆ ستایشکردنی یەزدانی پەروەردگاری ئیسرائیل بە دەنگێکی زۆر بەرز. |
20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and all of you inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall all of you be established; believe his prophets, so shall all of you prosper.
| بەیانی زوو لە خەو هەستان و چوون بۆ چۆڵەوانی تەقۆعە، لە کاتی بەڕێکەوتنیان یەهۆشافات ڕاوەستا و گوتی: «ئەی خەڵکی یەهودا و ئۆرشەلیم، گوێم لێ بگرن! بڕواتان بە یەزدانی پەروەردگارتان هەبێت، دڵنیابن و بڕواتان بە پێغەمبەرەکانی هەبێت سەرکەوتوو دەبن.» |
21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endures for ever.
| لەدوای ئەوەی یەهۆشافات ڕاوێژی بە گەل کرد، گۆرانیبێژی دانا بۆ ئەوەی ستایشی یەزدان بکەن بۆ شکۆی پیرۆزی، کاتێک لەپێش سوپاکە دەڕۆن بڵێن: «سوپاسی یەزدان بکەن، چونکە خۆشەویستییە نەگۆڕەکەی هەتاهەتاییە.» |
22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
| کاتێک دەستیان بە گۆرانی و ستایش کرد، یەزدان چەند بۆسەیەکی بۆ عەمۆنی و مۆئابییەکان و خەڵکی کێوی سێعیر نایەوە کە هاتبوون بۆ پەلاماردانی یەهودا، ئیتر شکان. |
23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
| عەمۆنی و مۆئابییەکان هەڵیانکوتایە سەر دانیشتووانی کێوی سێعیر تاکو قڕیان بکەن و لەناویان ببەن. دوای ئەوەی لە کوشتوبڕی دانیشتووانی سێعیر بوونەوە، بەربوونە یەکتری و یەکترییان لەناوبرد. |
24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.
| کاتێک پیاوانی یەهودا گەیشتنە شوێنی چاودێریکردن لە چۆڵەوانی، تەماشای ئاپۆرەی سوپاکەیان کرد هەموو لاشەن و لەسەر زەوییەکە کەوتوون و کەس دەرباز نەبووە. |
25 And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.
| ئیتر یەهۆشافات و گەلەکەی هاتن بۆ تاڵانکردنی دەستکەوتەکان، جا شتومەک و جلوبەرگ و کەلوپەلی گرانبەهای زۆریان دۆزییەوە، بەڵام هێندە زۆر بوو کە نەیانتوانی باریان بکەن. سێ ڕۆژ خەریکی تاڵان بردن بوون. |
26 And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the LORD: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day.
| لە ڕۆژی چوارەم لە دۆڵی بەراخا کۆبوونەوە، لەوێش ستایشی یەزدانیان کرد، لەبەر ئەوە شوێنەکەیان ناونا دۆڵی بەراخا کە هەتا ئەمڕۆش بەو ناوەوە ناودەبردرێت. |
27 Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the LORD had made them to rejoice over their enemies.
| ئینجا هەموو پیاوانی یەهودا و ئۆرشەلیم بە ڕابەرایەتی یەهۆشافات بە خۆشییەوە گەڕانەوە بۆ ئۆرشەلیم، چونکە یەزدان بە دوژمنەکانیان خۆشی کردن. |
28 And they came to Jerusalem with psalteries and harps and trumpets unto the house of the LORD.
| بە قیسارە و ساز و کەڕەناوە چوونە ناو ئۆرشەلیمەوە بۆ پەرستگای یەزدان. |
29 And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the LORD fought against the enemies of Israel.
| بەو شێوەیە ترسی یەزدان لە هەموو پاشایەتی خاکەکانی دیکە نیشت، کاتێک کە بیستیانەوە یەزدان شەڕی لەگەڵ دوژمنەکانی ئیسرائیلدا کردووە. |
30 So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him rest round about.
| ئیتر ئاشتی لەنێو پاشایەتییەکەی یەهۆشافات بەرقەرار بوو، خودا لە هەموو لایەکەوە حەساندییەوە. |
31 And Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah: he was thirty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.
| یەهۆشافات بەم شێوەیە پاشایەتی یەهودای کرد. لە تەمەنی سی و پێنج ساڵی بوو بە پاشای یەهودا، بیست و پێنج ساڵ لە ئۆرشەلیم پاشایەتی کرد، ناوی دایکی عەزوڤای کچی شیلحی بوو. |
32 And he walked in the way of Asa his father, and departed not from it, doing that which was right in the sight of the LORD.
| ڕێچکەی ئاسای باوکی گرتەبەر و لێی لانەدا، ئەوەی لەبەرچاوی یەزدان ڕاستە کردی. |
33 Nevertheless the high places were not taken away: for as yet the people had not prepared their hearts unto the God of their fathers.
| بەڵام هێشتا نزرگەکانی سەر بەرزایی تێکنەدران و گەل هێشتا بە تەواوی دڵیان بە خودای باوباپیرانیان نەدابوو. |
34 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Jehu the son of Hanani, who is mentioned in the book of the kings of Israel.
| ڕووداوەکانی دیکەی پاشایەتی یەهۆشافات لە سەرەتاوە هەتا کۆتایی، لە پەڕتووکی کاروباری ڕۆژانەی یێهوی کوڕی حەنانی تۆمار کراون، ئەوەی لە پەڕتووکی پاشاکانی ئیسرائیل تۆمار کراون. |
35 And after this did Jehoshaphat king of Judah join himself with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly:
| پاش ئەمانە یەهۆشافاتی پاشای یەهودا لەگەڵ ئەحەزیای پاشای ئیسرائیلدا کە خراپەکار بوو هاوپەیمانییەتی بەست. |
36 And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongaber.
| یەکیانگرت لە دروستکردنی کەشتی بازرگانی و لە عەچیۆن گەڤەر چەند کەشتیگەلێکیان دروستکرد. |
37 Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because you have joined yourself with Ahaziah, the LORD has broken your works. And the ships were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish.
| بەڵام ئەلیعەزەری کوڕی دۆداڤاهو کە خەڵکی مارێشا بوو لەسەر یەهۆشافات پێشبینی کرد و گوتی: «لەبەر ئەوەی لەگەڵ ئەحەزیا هاوپەیمانییەتیت بەست، ئەوەی ئێوە دروستتان کرد یەزدان تێکیدەشکێنێت.» ئیتر کەشتییەکان شکان و نەیانتوانی گەشتی بازرگانی بکەن. |
