1 Peter 1
1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
Од Петра, апостола Исуса Христа, избраним дошљацима, расејаним по Понту, Галатији, Кападокији, Азији и Витанији;
2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, (pneuma) unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
По провиђењу Бога Оца, светињом Духа доведеним у послушање и кропљење крви Исуса Христа: да вам се умножи благодат и мир.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Благословен Бог и Отац Господа нашег Исуса Христа, који нас по великој милости својој прероди за живу наду васкрсењем Исуса Христа из мртвих,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you,
За наследство непропадљиво, које неће иструхнути ни увенути, сачувано на небесима за вас,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Које је сила Божија вером сачувала за спасење, приправљено да се јави у последње време;
6 Wherein all of you greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, all of you are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
Коме радујте се, премда сте сад мало (где је потребно) жалосни у различним напастима,
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Да се кушање ваше вере много вредније од злата пропадљивог које се куша огњем нађе на хвалу и част и славу, кад се покаже Исус Христос;
8 Whom having not seen, all of you love; in whom, though now all of you see him not, yet believing, all of you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
Ког не видевши љубите и ког сад не гледајући но верујући Га радујете се радошћу неисказаном и прослављеном.
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
Примајући крај своје вере, спасење душама.
10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
Које спасење тражише и испитиваше за њ пророци, који за вашу благодат прорекоше;
11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit (pneuma) of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
Испитујући у какво или у које време јављаше Дух Христов у њима, напред сведочећи за Христове муке и за славе по томе;
12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Spirit (pneuma) sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
Којима се откри да не самим себи него нама служаху овим што вам се сад јави по онима који вам проповедише јеванђеље посланим с неба Духом Светим, у које анђели желе завирити.
13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
Зато, љубазни, запрегнувши бедра свог ума будите трезни, и зацело се надајте благодати која ће вам се принети кад дође Исус Христос.
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
Као послушна деца, не владајући се по првим жељама у свом незнању,
15 But as he which has called you is holy, so be all of you holy in all manner of conversation;
Него по Свецу који вас је позвао, и ви будите свети у свему живљењу.
16 Because it is written, Be all of you holy; for I am holy.
Јер је писано: Будите свети, јер сам ја свет.
17 And if all of you call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
И ако зовете Оцем Оног који, не гледајући ко је ко, суди свакоме по делу, проводите време свог живљења са страхом,
18 Forasmuch as all of you know that all of you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
Знајући да се пропадљивим сребром или златом не искуписте из сујетног свог живљења, које сте видели од отаца;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Него скупоценом крвљу Христа, као безазленог и пречистог јагњета;
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
Који је одређен још пре постања света, а јавио се у последња времена вас ради,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
Који кроз Њега верујете Бога који Га подиже из мртвих, и даде Му славу, да би ваша вера и надање било у Бога.
22 Seeing all of you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit (pneuma) unto sincere love of the brethren, see that all of you love one another with a pure heart fervently:
Душе своје очистивши у послушању истине Духом за братољубље недволично, од чистог срца љубите добро један другог,
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word (logos) of God, which lives and abides for ever. (aiōn g165)
Као прерођени не од семена које труне, него од оног које не труне, речју Живог Бога, која остаје довека. (aiōn g165)
24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away:
Јер је свако тело као трава, и свака слава човечија као цвет травни: осуши се трава, и цвет њен отпаде;
