< Psalms 98 >
1 O sing unto Yhwh a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
A PSALM. Sing to YHWH a new song, For He has done wonders, His right hand and His holy arm have given salvation to Him.
2 Yhwh hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
YHWH has made His salvation known, Before the eyes of the nations, He has revealed His righteousness,
3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
He has remembered His kindness, And His faithfulness to the house of Israel, All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 Make a joyful noise unto Yhwh, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
Shout to YHWH, all the earth, Break forth, and cry aloud, and sing.
5 Sing unto Yhwh with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
Sing to YHWH with harp, With harp, and voice of praise,
6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before Yhwh, the King.
With trumpets, and voice of a horn, shout before the King, YHWH.
7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
The sea and its fullness roar, The world and the inhabitants in it.
8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
Floods clap hand, together hills cry aloud,
9 Before Yhwh; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
Before YHWH, For He has come to judge the earth, He judges the world in righteousness, And the people in uprightness!
