Psalms 97
1 Yhwh reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
Jehova nĩarathamaka, thĩ nĩĩgĩkene; mabũrũri marĩa marĩ ndwere-inĩ cia iria nĩmacanjamũke.
2 Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the foundation of his throne.
Athiũrũrũkĩirio nĩ matu na nduma ndumanu; ũthingu na kĩhooto nĩcio mũthingi wa gĩtĩ gĩake kĩa ũnene.
3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.
Mwaki ũmũthiiaga mbere ũgĩcinaga thũ ciake na mĩena yothe.
4 His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
Heni ciake imũrĩkaga thĩ yothe; thĩ ĩcionaga ĩkainaina.
5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of Yhwh, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
Irĩma itwekaga o ta mũhũra mbere ya Jehova, igatweka irĩ mbere ya Mwathani wa thĩ yothe.
6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
Igũrũ rĩanagĩrĩra ũthingu wake, nao andũ othe makoona riiri wake.
7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.
Andũ arĩa othe mahooyaga mĩhianano mĩicũhie nĩmaconorithagio, acio meerahaga na mĩhianano: inyuĩ ngai ici, mũinamĩrĩrei mũmũhooe.
8 Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O Yhwh.
Zayuni ĩiguaga ũguo ĩgakena, namo matũũra ma Juda magacanjamũka, tondũ wa matuĩro maku ma ciira, Wee Jehova.
9 For thou, Yhwh, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.
Nĩgũkorwo Wee Jehova, nĩwe Ũrĩa-Ũrĩ-Igũrũ-Mũno wa thĩ yothe; wee nĩũtũũgĩrĩtio mũno igũrũ rĩa ngai ciothe.
10 Ye that love Yhwh, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
Arĩa endi Jehova nĩmathũũre ũũru, nĩgũkorwo nĩagitagĩra mĩoyo ya arĩa ake ehokeku, na akamateithũra kuuma moko-inĩ ma arĩa aaganu.
11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
Ũtheri nĩwarĩire arĩa athingu na arĩa arũngĩrĩru ngoro makaiyũrwo nĩ gĩkeno.
12 Rejoice in Yhwh, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
Kenerai Jehova, inyuĩ arĩa athingu, mũkĩgooce rĩĩtwa rĩake rĩamũre.
