< Psalms 21 >

1 The king shall joy in thy strength, O Yhwh; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
Ya Mukulu wa Bayimbi. Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Ayi Mukama, kabaka ajaguliza mu maanyi go. Obuwanguzi bw’omuwadde nga bumuleetedde essanyu lingi!
2 Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. (Selah)
Omuwadde omutima gwe bye gwetaaga, era buli ky’asabye n’akamwa ke tokimummye.
3 For thou puttest before him blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.
Ddala ddala wamwaniriza n’emikisa gyo egijjudde ebirungi, n’omutikkira engule eya zaabu omuka ennyo ku mutwe gwe.
4 He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.
Yakusaba obulamu, era n’obumuwa, ennaku ennyingi ez’emirembe n’emirembe.
5 His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.
Obuwanguzi bwe wamuwa bumuleetedde ekitiibwa kinene. Omuwadde ekitiibwa n’oyatiikirira.
6 For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
Ddala omuwadde emikisa gyo egy’olubeerera, n’omujjuza essanyu ng’oli naye buli kiseera.
7 For the king trusteth in Yhwh, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.
Kubanga kabaka yeesiga Mukama, era olw’okwagala okutaggwaawo okw’oyo Ali Waggulu Ennyo, kabaka tagenda kunyeenyezebwa.
8 Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
Omukono gwo guliwamba abalabe bo bonna; omukono gwo ogwa ddyo gulikwata abo abakukyawa.
9 Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: Yhwh shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
Bw’olirabika, Ayi Mukama, olibasiriiza n’omuliro ng’ogw’omu kyoto ekyengeredde. Mukama, ng’ajjudde obusungu, alibamira bonna, era alibamalirawo ddala.
10 Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
Olizikiriza ezzadde lyabwe ku nsi, n’abaana baabwe bonna n’obamalawo mu baana b’abantu.
11 For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.
Newaakubadde nga bakusalira enkwe, ne bateekateeka ebikolwa ebibi, kyokka tewali kye basobola kutuukiriza.
12 Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.
Balikyuka ne bakudduka bwe baliraba ng’obaleezeemu omutego gwo ogw’obusaale.
13 Be thou exalted, Yhwh, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.
