Psalms 142

1 I cried unto Yhwh with my voice; with my voice unto Yhwh did I make my supplication.

我高聲向上主呼求， 我高聲向天主求助。

2 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

我向他傾吐我的愁苦，我向他陳訴我的憂慮。

3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

當我精神愁苦的時候，惟有您知悉我的路途。在我行走的道路途中；他們給我設下陷阱。

4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

我向右觀察細看，沒有一個熟悉我的人！沒有一人我可投奔，沒有一人為我操心。

5 I cried unto thee, O Yhwh: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

上主，我今呼號說：你是我的避難所，在這活人的地方，你就是我的福爵。

6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

求您傾聽我的哀號，因我十分可憐無靠，求您救我脫離迫害我的人，因他們是比我強悍的人。

7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

求您引領我出離監牢，好讓我讚美您的名號。義人前呼後擁歡迎我，因為您大量恩待了我。
