< Psalms 128 >
1 Blessed is every one that feareth Yhwh; that walketh in his ways.
Canticum graduum. Beati omnes, qui timent Dominum, qui ambulant in viis eius.
2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
Labores manuum tuarum quia manducabis: beatus es, et bene tibi erit.
3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
Uxor tua sicut vitis abundans, in lateribus domus tuæ. Filii tui sicut novellæ olivarum, in circuitu mensæ tuæ.
4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth Yhwh.
Ecce sic benedicetur homo, qui timet Dominum.
5 Yhwh shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
Benedicat tibi Dominus ex Sion: et videas bona Ierusalem omnibus diebus vitæ tuæ.
6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.
Et videas filios filiorum tuorum, pacem super Israel.
