< Psalms 127 >

1 Except Yhwh build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except Yhwh keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
Wer ma ji wero kadhi e hekalu. Mar Solomon. Ka Jehova Nyasaye ok ema ger ot, to joma gere nyagore gi tich matek kayiem nono. Ka Jehova Nyasaye ok ema orito dala, to jorito ochungʼ karito kayiem.
2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
In bende imondo chiewo chon kendo ineno nyaka sa molewo, kinyagori gi tich matek mondo iyud chiemo minyalo chamo; nimar Nyasaye miyo joge mohero nindo mokwe.
3 Lo, children are an heritage of Yhwh: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
Yawuowi gin gweth moa kuom Jehova Nyasaye, adier, nyithindo gin mich moa kuome.
4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Yawuowi ma ngʼato onywolo kapod otin, chalo gi asere manie lwet jakedo.
5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
Ngʼat ma ofukune opongʼ kodgi en ngʼama ogwedhi. Ok ginine wichkuot ka gikedo gi wasikgi e dhorangach.
