Psalms 113

1 Praise Yah. Praise, O ye servants of Yhwh, praise the name of Yhwh.

Halleluja. Lofver, I Herrans tjenare, lofver Herrans Namn.

2 Blessed be the name of Yhwh from this time forth and for evermore.

Lofvadt vare Herrans Namn, ifrå nu och i evighet.

3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same Yhwh's name is to be praised.

Ifrå solenes uppgång, allt intill nedergången, vare Herrans Namn lofvadt.

4 Yhwh is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

Herren är hög öfver alla Hedningar; hans ära går så vidt som himmelen är.

5 Who is like unto Yhwh our God, who dwelleth on high,

Hvilken är såsom Herren vår Gud, den sig så högt satt hafver?

6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

Och ser uppå det nedriga, i himmelen och på jordene;

7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;

Den som den ringa upprättar utu stoftet, och upplyfter den fattiga utu träcken;

8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

Att han skall sätta honom bredovid Förstar, vid hans folks Förstar;

9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Hallelu jah.

Den der låter den ofruktsamma bo i huset, att hon en glad barnamoder varder! Halleluja.
